Out of curiosity, I killed him to see if there was a faction hit.

Ouch. Mages beware haha, you'll be killing elementals on his island for the next month to faction it back up.

In case you followed post above looking for this guy. Stop in your tracks.....i took guild portal to TS , went south to mage tower on same island. This guy is at top of North West tower.LOC : -1110.19, +486.45 , +131.39 . Vornol Transon is right there.
He is used also for mag epic 2.0 turn in of "Small pouch of Riftseekers Essence"
After zoning into TS, face NW, he is on top of the tower a little ways ahead. You can levi from ZI, down to him, or to wall below him and then come up steps.

Let me expand on that, as it's not quite sufficient information :)
Zone in from Fungus Grove using the red clicky-portal to Twilight Sea (TS).
This will take you to the top of the next highest tower of the magician fortress in the middle of TS.
Alternatively, get a TL or TP with a wiz or druid to TS, and head south to the magician tower on the same island you arrived. Take the stairs inside the towers until you reach the red clicky-portal to Fungus Grove.
Now, face south west and float from the parapet of the tower with the portal towards the south west tower of the fortress, using levitate. On the top of that tower you find him.

This was an easy way to find him although in the last line you said face southwest, it's actually northwest. Thanks though!
the name of this guy is the same as the name of oposing frac of elements if i kill him or do somthing about this will it raise frac with elements

You get positive faction hits with Vornal Transon by killing the elementals that are on the same isle as the tower.

yea, he was dubious to me, and that was my first time in the twilight sea, dont worry, its just so u have to earn his trust
Yeah, a couple of hours killing elementals and I'm amiable to him and dubious to the elementals... faction seems to go up pretty quickly.

Yeah, well, isn't Vornol supposed to be "one of the most powerful mages of all time", to quote EqAtlas?
Methinks that would make him somewhat higher than 50, but then again Verant have some strange ideas sometimes...
