I just want to clear up / reconfirm a couple of important details for those people wanting to solo mobs in Plane of Fear for Amulet of Necropotence farming. Fright & Dread DT, Terror and Cazic Thule do NOT. Using Divine Aura from an item such as Shiny Brass Idol will NOT save you from Fright or Dread's DT. This is why it is very difficult to ever find Terror up in Plane of Fear. Terror is perma-killed / farmed on every server I would suspect.

Also, when Terror, Dread, and Fright spawn, they will randomly spawn at any of their 3 small temples (named on the EQ map). Do not assume that Terror has spawned at the Terror Temple after a server reset. If you do, you may discover that Dread or Fright has spawned at the Terror Temple as you die from a DT.

those 4 spells made short work of him, I lost 3 pets, but that was np I could just summon a new one and resume.

Read thru the post, might have missed it, I c that it's soloable and wut not, has various loot, and 1 guys says it took him 10 mins to solo. But I need to know how often he spawns, atleast a close educated guess, no off the wall plz..

He was piece of cake, We got to him in his temple after we cleared the surrounding area of most (not all) of the possible aggro adds, then me and my friend Disease Dotted him (chaos plague and grip of mori) then we just fded let pets get aggro and kept healing pets. I had the Pet LoH aa so that is what did terror in, he ran and we aggro'd a rapist (Dracolithe) but we still won.

I don't want to flame you, but have you ever killed Terror ever? He does in fact drop the AoN. All the golems have the same loot table from what I can tell. The main reason of my post is to show that they have the same loot table. Also, loot tables on this website are not 100% accurate. The loot tables are determined by posts made by other players like me. Also, your flame is not necessary. I do not understand why you would flame a post revealing information about a NPC and an attempt at making his loot table more correct.

just killed terror did with 58 clr 67 war and 68 dru. was easy. didnt drop ball which we were there for. any one know for sure respawn time?

Friend just soloed Terror today. 70 Monk with 8600hp. Took about 10 minutes or so fight, but was cake.
These mobs are so easy now a' days

Should be, if you can get him single (i.e. with no other DT golems in the zone). I don't remember him having any excessive resists, so you should be able to kite him around and lifetap when summoned (I presume he summons).

Did him today with 2 SK's, 7K and a 6K (me). Pretty simple, clear trash, pull and kill... got an AoN =) which we're gonna sell and split the $$. Hopefully I'll get my Soul Leech soon =)
terror does not DT we did him with 4 shammy (me) 11k war good cleric and good ranger i just helped healing but wasn,t needed all u need is Cheal and a good tank + some dmg did not see any aoe but we burned him down in less then 1 min GL

Just to let you guys know....this guy does not Death Touch like the other 2 golems. He has an AE DD spell for about 1k damage.

as of today, 2 hours ago, this guy droped the AoN.
i was there with a bunch of other people with my 52 sham main for my epic part (which i got) and rolled for the hell of it. the seed was 654, i rolled a 649 =) before i even looted it, i was getting flooded with tells of offers. so he does drop this, i know because he was the last golem we killed and thats when i got it

nope... he procs liek all others 20k DT. no way anyone can solo him =) Duo maybe? Get pet to take the DT and jump on him?

Yes he is soloable. I solod him on my cleric, 7.4k self buffed hp... I did start getting LoM at about 40% on the golem from fast healing myself, so i had to pull out my DA hammer and proc to med a few times... But he runs early (like 20%), so its easy.

This guy isn't that hard with good prep. We had a decent size raid force last night and he seemed much easier then the other 2 golems we fought that could dt. Buff up with your mr, have a nice druid cast circle of summer, and have a bard play some resist song. Clerics where put in a house in range of their tank, and nukers where put behind the house to drop some nukes and run back if they were taking too much damage. Chanters sat behind tanks to handle/charm adds. Unlike the other golems, this one has sucky mr. Lures and ice comets just destroyed him.
Dead mob less than 2 minutes later.
If you are going to fight here be prepared for anything. Those damn eyes that like to dispell and fear you, or the hands that seem to zerg you from out of nowhere. This was my first trip and had a good time, cept when hov was dipelled midfight and my charmed pet didn't want to listen to me =(.
