Lucid Shard 
Hi,
I was wondering if you have any tips on soloing these buggers in Mons Letalis. They are very root resistable but I can handle that, used to it, after soloing 2/3 toilers. I can manage an add too, they don't have that much HP, 2 sets of DoTs and they are gone.
Problem is that when you go near the tunnel entrance the two Shiknar's add on top, then it's time to zone.
May be go to The Deep instead? I would prefer a group but Mons Letalis is not a popular zone.

Yep - these guys drop Lucid Shards for the VT key.
We saw 2 of them drop off of this mob (checked the name of it to be sure and took a screenshot) while clearing towards the burrower.
I'm guessing that "A Thought Leech Evoker" and the others with similar names also drop the shard, but can't confirm that.

Is this the Monsletalis spawn?

the level on these guys is wrong...they're dark blue to my 51 dru..and red to my 36 war...just an fyi..very resistant to snare and root but not dot's and nukes ))

I agree wile i could not solo one of theas it did con Dark Blue to me...

Also found in Mons Letalis. One gave a serious butt kicking to a 40 ranger and druid
The version in Mons Letalis does not drop the quest piece, however, it does drop another nice item 8)

I stand corrected 8) Not only by Thewolfbythewall, but also by some peeps in game. The Mons version does drop if for sure 8)

The version in Mons Letalis does drop the quest piece actually, killed a few of them there and got the piece within half an hour 8)
