Ok this is the deal with ringo. This is not his true form, in order to see ringo in his true form you need to kill him in PC. when he goes down his true self spawns in the Bazaar.
I wonder if that is still the case in the new bazaar because I've never seen this beloved beetle roaming the corridors.

What I want to know is why are Yelloweyes and Ringo named such? Is it because the bandits named them that way, or the SH people? If so, why them? There are plenty of other mud burrower types and owlbears, why them?

Saw him spawn today at the second bandit camp. If you are looking at it with the lake to the left. He spawned inbetween the first two huts back near the wall.

I hate it when people can't speak coherently also, but you should really learn to spell the word 'grammar' before you knock others for not knowing it. =p

some people just didn't pay attention in english class like me, maybe you should focus on the topic of the thread instead of downing people...
I don't believe it's necessarily downing anyone, just stating the obvious fact that it's impossible to stick to the thread when you can't even read some of the posts. It wouldn't be so distracting if people would take some time and use punctuation, or at least make coherent statements with their "words".

First of all, Not everyone that plays EQ is english / american. Second, who really cares? If they have poor grammar or spelling... I am really more worried about how usefull the information is. I dont even want to get into the semantics of it all ... but what most people speak is not even proper American, let alone English. Whatever. What my issue is, is when someone posts AWESOME useful info, and tey have poor grammar... or they have fun typing it in troll.orgre talk. Who cares. Relax. Enjoy the game.

He may not have a mop top or be able to sing like a Beatle but we did find him entertaining to make jokes about while pulling Recondites. His junk loot and lower level made him a waste of time while hunting Recondites nearby. Other than being an entertainer, Ringo (the beetle) was useless. Maybe there's something implied here, but I'll let you do the thinking. =)

just killed this guy since hes named. All he had was a sediment delver carapace. 4.0wt. no stats. you can get them off any of the other beetles here i think

I killed this guy while 3 other bandit's or whatever they are at that camp aggroed me at the same time. I finished off the bandits and looked down to see the body of ringo gone...... Note to self loot ringo b4 you kill anything else.. still dont know what he drops...

Fiends decay really fast, but they have loot... what do you mean?
The message says that, but they decay at the normal rate for mobs that level.
not really Xi Xaul's corpse decays in 18 secnds and he has some nice drops in Maiden's Eye.

Uh that's where you kinda getting messed up buddy, Firstly, If a MOB has Absolutley NOTHING on his corpse, It decays in 30 seconds. As most of us know, After killing any type of Xi, The corpses disappear quickly, As most of them don't drop jack. Maybe 1-2/4 of their population have a Drop and it usually isn't anything to speak of. If a MOB is lvl 1-54 And has an item on it, The corpse decays in 8 Minutes. If the MOB is lvl 55+ The corpse decays in 30 minutes. That's probably why this guy's corpse left you so quickly, Nothin on it but Air.
