these things are all over pofear.
Usually around zone-in,west of zone-in, and south wall.
If you look downhill from zone-in, east, there are little ruins that one hangs out in also.
Head to west wall, and then north, you will run into a couple wandering around the hills also.

No idea how but these things saw through SoS(hide/sneak). I ran to the fire wall, turned around and saw 4 of them coming at me. Looked at my name and I was still invis. On my CR(ended up with just about every mob in the zone on me), they didn't see through SoS which is the strange thing.
Few new things...

We did a break in of fear a few days ago. They have up'd the drop rate on the Eyerazzia. It seemed to drop on 3 our of 4 kills. Second thing is that Ire was within argo range while we were killing these and he just sat there. I am not saying he is non-argo now. They might have reduced his argo range a little though.
Charming scarelings
# Apr 21 2004 at 8:28 AM Rating: Decent
Scarelings can be charmed and when positioned properly, they are a nice DPS pet. However, when the dadgum thing gates his target, the target will regen back to 33%.

Reader's Digest Version: Don't bother charming these things.

Did our first break of fear! One of these guys got ahold of me and sent to me another part of the zone. I felt like a small child lost in the mall. Then his friends preceeded to gang rape me. Not a very nice mob.
(My mind is like a bad neighborhood, you dont want to go in there alone)

I advise pullers (Ranger, Cleric w/DA, Monks) to put some space between yourself and these little bastards before turning your back.

While they can hit decently hard, their backstab is atrocious.

As was also already mentioned - VERY large aggro radius.

These guys are tiny, and can be hard to target. I even had trouble getting F8 to select them with no other targets around. They're just... small.

Try breaking POF sometime... they are hardly funny when you zone in and see:

"a scareling backstabs you for 476 dmg!
a scareling backstabs you for 435 dmg!
You have been slain by a scareling!!
LOADING, PLEASE WAIT..."

=p
