I have solo camped the Warrior 2 spawn on the little hill at the back of the entrance cave since I was level 59. One of my guildies showed me how it was done or I never would have had the courage to try it. I have always called this camp "Suicide Hill" for obvious reasons. Here is how I do it:
Run in invis and park yourself in the very corner as high as you can get (on the right side). Root the closest Warrior. The other will NOT aggro, but I commend whoever had the cajones to try it in the first place! It takes a real act of faith to do this (at least for me).
If root doesn't hold, boogie the heck outta there and give train warning on the way... Innate Camo is invaluable. Exodus is also nice. If these guys hit you and stun you, you should expect to die.
Once the first one is rooted, SNARE him. I kept forgetting this step, and paid dearly for it every time I did. DoT him and med until Dot dies then recast. No mana DoTs are also nice (I used epic and elder spiritist vambraces).
When it gets to about 50-55 percent, re-Root it. I was not successful trying to wait until Root broke.
Adds are possible to handle if you have already broken the camp and are timing the spawns, but until then I would recommend fleeing. Or bring friends...)) Any adds happen only if you make a mistake and drop root or move too far out of the corner.
Repeat for the second warrior.
Once you get the process down to a routine, with KEI, you can clear the two soldiers in front of the hill before the warriors respawn. It can be a nice rhythm when you get going. Normal exp is not good, but AA is decent, I still get good AA exp at 68, and use this to PL my lower level alts when I can 2 box.
Shards don't drop real frequent, but there are not a lot of places you can solo camp for shards and not many people that do so here.
As a druid, you have a real advantage here. You can port in easy to Twilight, run in and set up very quickly. I used to do this camp a lot when I was waiting for friends to finish a LDoN crawl or if I had a little extra time.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions... Flewid the Druid, Prexus.
Awesome strat for those two! I tried it and it works like a charm. Of course I'm lvl 75 with 11k hp selfbuffed, and with skin of the reptile I can even tank these if root should break early, but still, I prefer not to get hit ;)
First thanks to Traxam for his info here, helped me a lot. Here is my experience ;)
Warlord Tk`kik`tthik camp. There are 5 warrior, the priest and the warlord (at least he was up where i camped there).
I camped (62 shammy, 66 monk, 64AAs) between the room with the Shik`nar Herdmaster and the warrior room and was indifferent before killing, dubious after I looted my shard.
The Herdmaster never added and I had a soldier adding once (from the tunnel where you enter the Herdmaster room (shammy pet offtanked him easily). If you wanna be safe, kill the roaming soldier in the tunnel you came from first.
I pulled the NE war first (easy single pull without pacify disc). Then the priest (single pull). Then I pacified the warlord and pulled the warrior on his left (from my view). Then the warlord himself (pacified the warrior right from him).
However I was not able to clear the room completely. The mobs have loads of HP.
The warriors enrage (I think below 12% HP) for a short time, the priest heals himself, enrages too as far as I remember and all mobs except the warlord run once below 20% HP.
Nobody has answered this question, so will repeat it; do these warriors summon?
I want to know if a 63 druid can root/dot these. I am thinking yes, seeing a shammy was doing it, but would like a clear answer if anyone can give one.

Just because it doesn't cast, and is a warrior doesn't mean it cant summon. For example, Elite Kromrif in Eastern Wastes DO summon, and dont cast, and warrior type mobs. There are countless examples of warrior type mobs that do summon. These however do not summon.

They appear to be responding to a post, that may have been filtered out by your settings, claiming that because the Shik`nar Warrior is a "warrior" it cannot summon. Incorrect. The mobs referred to in CT are one example. As they said, some non-caster mobs do summon, but this one does not.
these shard must be rare... im camping the Wars place (where there is a Priest at middle) since the morning and no shard... we are 2 mages from AB Vektrat and Rhand, and we are a bit frustrated =/. Correct the Uncommon for a Rare... all the shards are a pain, and this one is not an exeption.
Been camping Warriors a while, there's a cavern with 4 Warriors and Priest Kak`thak. On the other side of the cavern there's a Herdmaster with his Underbulk herd. Every tunnel connecting to it is patrolled by a soldier so watch out when you pull a mob nearby a tunnel. Solo'd the Warriors at lv65 (Wizard), was able to single pull all Warriors and the Priest provided you pull them in the right order: NE war, SE war, SW war, Priest, NW war (hope that makes sense). When I tried to pull the NW war before the Priest, the Priest added. Also, when I checked for Warrior hp just now, the Warlord was up between the SE war and SW war in front of the tunnel, so if he's up I doubt you can singlepull the warriors near him.
I got my shard earlier today after several hours of camping (been camping there before though, not sure how long I've been there in total). The warriors hit for near 200 iirc, have about 20K hp (just checked and a 2740 nuke took off 13% which translates to 21K hp), are snarable rootable and stunnable (at least with PoP stun). The spawn timer is 25 minutes.
Some drops I've seen: Torrent of Hate spell, Falcon Eye spell, Rune of Divergency, Rune of Tempest.
I have a 65 necro and I solo this room and kill the wanderer soldier in the cave before they can repop. Get 4 white lines of exp for AA per kill. Drop rate on shards, which I see rot usually cause I am alone down there, is about 1 every 2 or 3 hours. Supposedly higher off royals but I haven't been able to split them to solo them when alone.
Aye the agro range is so small that u can kill the one at the bootom of the hill right in front of the warrior,, not getting agro from the warrior, then kill the warrior..Root and stack the DoT's on.. enrages once at 15%.. watch it die and do the same for the other one... get about 3 ticks AA per kill not bad for a couple of min. of Dotting..
As you enter the cave straight ahead there is a 2 spawn of 2 warriors. Both mezable by a 61 enchanter with Apathy. Broke the spawn with a 65 shaman(me) 65 war 59 cleric and 61 enchanter (me) Once broken, we stood on the spawn point and killed the 2 warriors. After about 3hrs I got my shard. No other adds came from standing and killing the warriors at thier spawn point. Use snare or you WILL get adds. Mob is slowable, immune to stun, snare-rootable, never resisted PR based dots. Rough guess on hp is maybe 10k at the most.
Ive been doing these and the royals for quite some time usally with a cl 60 chanty 60 (kei one) sk 61 (me) lvl 32 pet (woo woo go kabober!) and a 65 134 aa rogue (damn derf you need a life more then me) and we have kept the area clear for over 5 hrs and got one stinken shard, warlord seems to be on a longer random timer without a placeholder tho his drops are CRAPTASTIC! and usually only kills the spawn cycle.. xp is sub me in my opinion given the lvls of the mob, some rampage but not always... First time i went down the drop rate seemed to be about 1 an hr but recent efforts seem to be closer to 1 per 5 hrs.. Im hopping its really crappy luck on my part. With a full group could prolly empty the entire cavern while you wait for spawns.
I (60 warrior back then) used to hunt them with a 60 shaman. The best place to hunt those are the two in the entrance hall of the Shik'nar "ant hill". Kill all other mobs in the hall, then you can single pull the warriors. They drop Lucid Shards fairly often.
Our group went here today, included a lvl 60 warrior, cleric, 58 shaman, 54 chanter, 55 monk (me) and a 50 wizard. Dropped'em no problem. Exp is quite nice to boot. They have extremely small agro range, so pulling results in singles mostly, occasionally doubles. They have a ton of hp, especially the warlord, but they hit about as hard as a giant in kael arena would. In about 20kills, we got a shard. Hope that helps :)
