Well, I am giving up on this stupid quest. I have had all I need except for the turn in to Lord Prismwing and Lord Gossimerwind. What a waste of time. I usually like to do quests just to do them for the fun. At my level, the drops are irrelevant anyway, but this kind of quest turns you off to the whole game. My daughter has been begging me to take up WoW, so I think it's time for me to think about it seriously.
I am destroying the container and all the drops I have to date. There is no logical reason why it should be so hard to get these stupid things to spawn.

What are his placeholders? The Fairie Dragons give a faction hit with the Tunarean Court. I am trying to get in good with them.. <sigh>

I just passed him on my way to Skyshrine--he was just east of the Skyshrine entrance. He was not static at that point. He was flying west (in the direction of Skyshrine). So there is likely no a pinpoint location for him.
edit: earlier today he was still up in the same location, flying kinda in large circles just east of the Skyshrine entrance.

Just some updates. Jumped to background to post this as he is still up at the moment. Time: 4:48pm cst Sunday, Feb 8 2004. Have had 3 parts for this quest for about a month now. Looking for Lord Prismwin, Lord Gossimerwind and Countess Silveana. Bound in WL and pop in all the time just to check. Today was my lucky day, poped in after servers were down and both Countess Silveana and Lord Gossimerwind were up... Don't know if it had to do with see invis still on me but Countess was right in the middle of the little circle with all here friends and Lord Gossimerwind was just about 100 yards or so to the South West of that little village. Never moved. Stayed there for quite some time. 2 parts down, now to find Lord Prismwing.

I think the Tunarean Signet Ring is the most ill concived poorly balanced, unthought out piece of crap quest ever! Jebus I would understand this much trouble if it were decent by today's standards, but man!

been looking almost everday several times a day for lord G, tracking from the port ring to the PoG tower to kael and sometimes running the whole zone. was in just minutes after last patch and checked for hours. even Woushi spawned but no sign of lord G. been at this for a month now and i even buged it. if he is in his mid to late 40's this conserns me as when he does spawn it may be he just doesnt live very long.
as for prism wing i found him just off the Sifaye village but i had to use /target lord prismwing to talk to him as he was up in the trees where i couldnt see him. once the dialog started he came down.

Yes that is my post.. Where the hell is he? Been trying to find him and Lord Prismwing as well and Countess Silveana. Everyday for the past week I have been in Wakening Land running up and down and still no sign of these 3.. getting annoyed..

I know this mob is on Tunarean Court faction, PoG faction. Hes part of the quest for a dru/ranger only earring. Think its Tunare only aswell. Anyways I think he has PHs like some of the other Quest NPCs, you have to kill his lookalikes. For Lord Prismwing that is a dixie... The best way I think to do this and not get bad faction with Tunarean court is to charm an animal, and make it fight for you. When the PH has little health left, you make the pet attack and gate out of the zone. That way you dont get the faction and the pet will kill it. When you return to zone hopefully your named NPC is up. Hope this helps.

Been looking for Lord Gossimerwind for 2 weeks now. Will try again after the lastest patch.
After visiting this site, I decided to go and Dire Charm Lieutenant Krofer. Says he is lvl 45. Turns out that I get the error, npc too high to be charmed, timer reset etc. etc... So, Lieutenant Krofer is higher than 46 (lvl limit on DC) and I happen across this mob. Didn't look him up, but he is light blue to me at 60. WAS able to dire charm him. That's two mobs with wrong min/max lvls listed here. I would be very careful if you are going by these listings as they are an approximation and CAN vary. Lord Gossimerwind on this occassion was at tops lvl 46 (though I did have a blast with him until that corrupted panther popped out of no where and kept summoning me as Lord Gossimerwind couldn't hold argo as I tried to make it to the zone) LOADING PLEASE WAIT...

he is really close to the eastern side, if you go to the wall and follow it to the right when you hit it you'll see him in like 2 minutes. he hits for like 129ish and has quite a bit of health.

I got him on tracking from inside the geonid caves if that helps any. But I never found him

On which faction is this mob? i've hunted many times in PoG so im unsure if he will or will not attack me.
