What the heck Sony, just a way to say ***** you to players. How is it a Necro is starting the Greenmist Quest when a Necro cannot even wield the sword. It is a SK item. Pffft /em Two middle fingers!

Same problem, I'm a 41 DE SK, he destroyed me, I did the explorer knife quest with 4 stacks, did the bone chip quest with 8 stacks, I wasn't KoS to anyone EXCEPT the Librarian. And once he aggroed so did the rest of the room (who were all dubious). It was a sad sad day :( I'll post again if I can find a way to raise faction with this Nimrod, once I hit 65 and have Greenmist out of the way I'm gonna throw a small raid at this place I think. I hate lizzys, i just want them to like me for a couple days, then I'll put the knife in their scaley backs.
The best way to gain faction with the brood is to kill outlaw Iksar (500 should do it for agnostics, your milage may vary).
He is on brood of kotiz and you must kill exiles for brood of kotiz its the easiest way to do it unless you wanna do the bone powder thing few places to kill em you can get em in loio at one of the ruins you can get some in WW or theres a cave in FoB you can kill them at aswell

He is without question on the Necro faction. You must kill exiles, bandits and so forth in WW. The best spot I have found is in the cave that leads to Lake of Ill O. Lote there to kill.

I am a 60 SK. I have done all faction to get this quest. I am now on Lord of Pain Khukri. I thought I was safe, because I too am amiably to all except Brood of Kotiz ( Necros of Cab). This guy attacked me, I just FD and was stunned, in RL why he was attacking me. I have come to the conclusion that he and all Librarians, are in deed on Kotiz faction. I was able to fool him when I got my newbie Khukri ( did MQ mine), by using Essence of Iksar potions. Looks like I might have to use them again to do the last and final part.
PS: I am a DE SK, It just requires alot of faction adjustment. I recommend Explorer Survival Knives quest. Bigger faction hits, per turn in than bone chips quest.

Can i even think about doing this quest as a Dark Elf Shadow Knight? And how can i get faction enuff to get to him?

I am an ogre and working towaeds this. It takes alot of faction adjustment, spent alot of time killing gobbys, sarnaks and explorers. Saved all the explorers knives and as soon as i was dubious turned those in, now i am max ally with legion of cabalis, indifferent to troopers, but still get scowls from crusaders, the explore knives quest did increas that tho. After u have proper faction the is a quest, penance i believe it is called which will get you the newb weapon to start the quest.

this guy is defenatley a necro, 2 consecutive instant hits of 1030 dmg, ouch!

Why is this guy still scowling at me ready to attack when all the other Crusaders of the green mist are judging me amiably? theres no way he is on Crusader faction, he must be a necro
