I got panda claws off a panda cub. I am not sure what they drop beyond the gemstones, but that alone is a good reason to hunt them. These gems sell for quite a bit, and if you do jewelry making or know an enchanter who does, this is your prey of choice!

I'm having a hard time getting these to drop. Any info on the rarity of the claws dropping ?

I'm still in need of 1 panda claws for the WoFS quest. I've killed approx 20 panda cubs, young pandas, and mature pandas. The first claw I got was off a panda cub (2nd kill). I've yet to get another since then.

TY "druidess" for that informative post. I wanted to know if they dropped the claws for the illness quest... and the fact that they are rich is even better :)

Just a thought, but these offer a decent amount of money if you hunt specifically them. I've recieved from them specifically opal bracelets, a fire emereld, and other various items that sell between 5 to 79pp. Now as a druidess, on Rodcet Nife, with aninmals, I could see rangers and druids make some pretty decent money. These guys, for us at least, are far easier than HG's, drop some nice merchant salable items, as well as panda claws (hey do the quest or sell them to players who want to do the quest), and give xp for the midlevels. All in all, a perfect combination.
