a guild was getting ready to to klandicar and forming right inside zone my group was killing spiders not too far from zone. theres a bug that if you sit too close to wall near zone he will agro they agroed him he DT'd the guy sitting there then 2 lava elemental things came out they were both 55 and hitting for bout 180. we tried to zone but he DT'd all of us before we could make it.

Shadowknights use Harm Touch. It is a class-specific skill. The amount of damage it does is based on the SK's level. Based on my level, and the amound of damage mine does, and also using the Unholy Aura discipline that SK's have, I am guessing the max any SK could HT for is around 2000 points of damage. This is survivable. It can be resisted, also.
Death Touch is a whole different ballgame. 20000 points of damage is instant death. It cannot be resisted.

Having been DTed by him, I can tell you he most definitely DOES DT.

dont use illusions around him. our gnome chanter got DTed for having an illusion up. dont aoe stun near him either. he killed the gnome again for that. damn gnomes...
True to form of other dragons, I was told not to wear an illusion as we approached a certain door. Maybe I clicked off DE form a little late, or maybe JDS doesn't like Zomm, in any case I was insta-flattened with the 20k punch by Shade. I assumed by the name 'Shade' that it was a ghost, an unseen force (nobody I know saw it). Glad to find there is substance to this evil character, and hopefully can be killed.

Posted: Dec 16 2001 at 9:38 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) To all ye people who wish to kill sleeper, good luck, to see sleeper is to stare death in the eye. he has never been killed due to the gms would not let you. Only now with the new way to increase stats after 51 will any guild kill him. once a guild came within 1/2 of his life but due to that they were using a cheat program that showed all his stats they were stoped and there accounts were wiped

Actually he was half right A guild did get him down to half, and they were disbanded but it wasnt because of ShowEQ it was because of using known geografical exploits... ie the water to avoid AE dmg and keep the clerics in heal range. The accounts involved were banned initially but then reinstated later because of an EQ wide uproar over the way the issue was handled. The guild remains disbanded and I believe there were some other individual penalties assest to specific players.

Actually, they were using those pathing bugs on the Warders, NOT On the Sleeper

I imagine that there is a story behind this guy. Was in there with a group killing some rats and a large snake and this fellow kept shouting things about leeting him as well as someother unidentified character (Sleeper?) free. Imagine he has been taken down by some of the Uber-er guilds out there already. Anybody know the full story on him?

Yes many guilds across all servers have brought this mob down other wise you wouldn't have all these Uber guilds running into Sleepers Tome on a Daily Basis and killing the 4 Wardners

He was the founder of the ring of scale, and was killed during the war with the iksar on kunark. His corpse is still in Field of Bones today. Because he believed he was betrayed his spirite cannot join Veeshan in plane of sky so he stayed behind to plot his revenge against all the living creatures of Norrath. Also, dont believe anyone has manage to kill Jaled-Dar yet, he is hard...

The founder of the Kerafyrm (a.k.a the Sleeper) are Jaled Dar (the shouting ghost), Trakanon (creator of the Ring of scale), Zlandicar (the insane cannibal dragon), and Yelinak (lord of Skyshrine).
and Zlandicar got banned from the Skyshrine by Yelinak because of his taste for dead dragon flesh.

umm take it from a once banned guild member. 2 things first the sleeper can not be killed second and verant does not like you when you try and BTW no way in he&^ did we get that bad **** to half health
