I finnally reached level 51 and had all the Darkforge armor and pp I needed to do the turn in to this guy. I am KOS in the outpost due to hunting in KC alot so I couldnt bind here so i would just run through every night before I logged off. On 8-29-03 I run through OT to check before meeting my guild for a raid and there he is. I give a yell out to see if we can take him before raid and told we will get him after. Well we go to raid and get wiped the first tiem out and end up having to reset and try again. Needles to say by the time I get back to OT he is gone. I was mad but kept on checking every night. Two nights later on 8-31-03 he pops again. I do a scramble and get some guildies and some pickups and head that way. Ended up with a 59 Ranger, 57 Ranger, 47 Druid, 65 Cleric, 65 Necro, 65 Warrior and myself a 51 SK. They wait near the POK book near the beach and I run to do the turn in. Turned in the armor and plat and ran for the ocean. I had SOW and have a 140 swimming but about the time I got to the end of the of the outpost he caught up to me. He beat me down to about 50% before I could get close enough for the rest to jump in. I feigned death and the warrior grabbed aggro while I got a quick heal from the cleric. From there on it was no problem. We beat on him til he fell. Dont think the cleric did more than two heals the entire fight and he started running when he got to about 15%. He fell over and I looted the letter from him. Just for those wondering you don't get the armor or plat back from him when he dies. Anyway I thanked everyone who helped and ran to Paineel to meet Duriek.
