So far, all the NPC Dwarfs that are for quests have names that make fun of Dwarfs. I guess it's to get your attention. It must be hard for a Dwarf to grow up with a name like Stumpystout.
OK, with all the "quest broken" talk I thought I would confirm that he was up on Morell Thule on 10/22/03 at roughly 6:45pm PDT. He was South of the Orc Camp up on a ledge along the wall. Location was n1785 p1340.
The wife also asked me to mention that 2 of the 3 of the goblins in Butcherblock used for the quest were light blue to her at 23. The other was green. ALL were highly aggressive.

Taldric's spawn seems to have been fixed, i logged in after the patch last night and he was standing exactly where he is supposed to stand =)

Was looking for him last nite, and no luck, had a couple of druids with me, and nothing. I have read a few places that the quest is broken, but haven't seen sony officaly say that. I just hope he pops before i end up eating my rat sandwiches :)

He was up near the derv camp in the corner of zone near Sro.

June 1, 1:30 am, still not up, check the loc given above, and had a lvl 51 ranger track him, no where to be found on Lanys.

I zoned into Oasis from SRo, hung a left and tracked along the zone wall, not very far..he was standing on a flat dune overlooking an orc camp, the first one on the left after you zone in. But he is not there currently, and hasn't been seen since the May 10 patch, apparently.
I have turned in several comments to QA/testing on the Sony site. No responses so far.

Been camping this guy (or trying to) for three days now. Zilch. Zip. Nada. He broken? Is there a trick to get him to spawn? GMs/Guides won't say, but no one's seen him for a long time, if at all. If anyone's seen him lately, pls post. Gimme some hope =)

I saw him on Monday, May 6 at about 1:45pm pacific. I was getting his location for a friend who wanted to do this quest. I took her back a couple of days later, and he was gone. I haven't seen him to date, and I checked just before you did, at about 11:30pm on Saturday, May 11. I would have expected him to be back at least after the patch, but it appears not. Very disappointed, doing the quest was planned for a special event, and it's now impossible.

I submitted a second bug report yesterday may 15th reporting the disciple quest as broken due to Taldrics Dissapearance. I had gone again to seek him out but he was not there. have had high level druids tracking him to no avail. Was considering checking Kith where the barley is sold. maybe he got tired of waiting for us to bring it to him and went to go get it himself? heh

just checked him again, Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 1:25pm pacific. He's still not there. I toured the whole zone, tracking, and he didn't show up. A couple of weeks ago, I posted comments at both Sony boards, going there now to see if there was a reply.

Out of boredem I played with this guy today btw he cons yellow to me at 60 so hes either 61 or 62 cant snare or root him and none of my dots or nukes worked =( didnt get a chance to see what he hit for.

I find that interesting, I saw him on Monday, May 6 and he conned blue, I am almost certain. There were no reds or yellows on track, and only about 5 blues, and he was one of them. I am level 54.
I'm wondering if we can't find him for the quest because some folks are camping him to kill him?
