Respawn time changed over the past year or so to 16 min.

Got it on second spawn. Penalty BDL Rogue 2/23/2011

Went to Chardok today looking for the mask. When I got to the spawn point, he was already up. How it went:

Kill 1 - Backstabber
Kill 2 - Backstabber
PH
PH
Kill 3 - Ring
Kill 4 - Backstabber
PH
Kill 5 - Mask

8 spawns, 5 of which being him, so was a good night!

Camped for 3 - 12 hours every day for a week now, saw the overseer quite often but still hasn't given me my mask. I think they made faction easier to come by now since I clear up to the light blue mobs in Nurga (after clearing the whole thing around two times) as a 58 bard and usually with cha song I go to dubious.

Locs on here are good, respawn time is approximately 20.5 minutes, occasionally one mob will wander in during the fight. I put invis song on and put my merc away when I'm not fighting which is getting costly since it's 24 plat everytime I resummon. I usually make more than that when I kill goblins.

Sarnak Skullsplitter was dropped by Overseer Dal`guur for me yesterday, on Povar.

Got it after 10 hours of camping on second named popped.

First day 4 hours: no named spawned.

Second day 6 hours of camping: when i logged my Sk named was there, no mask but have dagger. Second spawn after 5 hours no dagger but have mask.

Now my little bard have an Halfing mask =)

P.S. For the spawn point dl the map from Mapfiend, the spawn point is on the map, not far away from the Herbalist house. U have to clear ur way to get there.

I had a pretty lucky night and it included this guy as my last stop, figured I'd share my experience:

1st Stop of the Night) Mask of Obtenebration (Skeletal Procurate in Charasis)

I ran into Charasis with my level 75 Magician, buffed my pet and worked my way through the West wing, looking for keys. Turns out there are none in the west wing that I could find, but I did find the container for the Hand of Glory. So, I fall into a trap, get back to the center, and kill a bottomless feaster. It drops a tallow-marked candle. Going to the north wing, now that I have the key, I kill my way to the two groundspawns, loot both of those, and head to the main boss, the Crypt Keeper. He isn't up, so I kill his PH, and wait. About 15 minutes later, he pops, I kill him for the key. I drop down a trap and return back to center. Moving to the west wing, I gather the ground spawns as normal, and then move to kill the boss on that wing which just happens to be the Skeletal Procurate. He's not up, so I kill his PH, sit and wait. 15 minutes later, he pops and has the mask! I loot it, and drop it in shared bank for my rogue.

Total Time: 1 hour and 45 minutes

2nd Stop of the Night) Burnoose of the Halfbreed (Zed Sticklebush in Jaggedpine)

Was being camped by a high level rogue, so I asked them to send me a tell when they left. Camped my 51 rogue by the river.


3rd Stop of the Night) Iksar Hide Mask (Harbinger Dronik in Trakanon's Teeth)

With my 75 Mage, I went to the river where the foragers like to cross and killed every froglok forager that crossed, leaving any nameds that happened to come close alone. About 20 minutes of this netted me a Harbinger Dronik with the Iksar Hide Mask.

Total Time: 35 minutes

4th Stop of the Night) Burnoose of the Halfbreed

The rogue sent me a tell to let me know that they hadn't seen a Zed in a few hours and they were giving up for the night. When I got there, they had just finished killing everything in the camp and I could see that they had killed all four nameds that they were using to try to force Zed to pop. A little irritated that I was going to have to go through the process myself, I sat down and waited. My first repop of the camp netted me no nameds, so I killed every single thing. However, my second pop netted me a Zed Sticklebush in the large tent, so I pet pulled him out of the tent and killed him. Burnoose of the Halfbreed! Camped to my rogue and looted.

Total Time: 50 minutes


5th Stop of the Night) Pegasus Feather Cloak (Quillmane in South Karana)

First, I camped my rogue north of the Aviak Towers. Then, I enlisted a Ranger friend's help for this and we set to work trying to figure out who was Quillmane's PH South of Splitpaw. I did this by grabbing everything that I could on the Ranger's track (using him as a guide) and then Beam of Molten Slagging them all to death. Now we waited for repops. We had three things repop on the 76 second timer according to his track, so he chose one and I chose one. When he got to his, we determined it was out of the boundaries for the Quillmane spawn cycle, so he went to the other one instead, we pulled them to Splitpaw and beamed them again. Rinse and repeated until, lo and behold, we got a Quillmane, and he dropped the cloak. Camped to my rogue and picked it up.

Total Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes


6th Stop of the Night) Desiccated Halfling Mask (Overseer Da'gul in Chardok)

I ran my rogue all the way here and camped him at the entrance and then ran my 75 mage, cleared from the entrance to the beginning of the tunnel, camped to my rogue and ran him just as far. I then cleared down the tunnel, camping out every 10 minutes or so to run my rogue down the cleared tunnel before I had repops. Eventually, we got the spot for Overseer Da'gul (used /loc for this). This was easily the most dangerous camp I did since the mobs that swarmed me when I found his PH were all green to my 75. Overseer Da'gul wasn't up, but we killed his PH and 19.5 minutes later, he spawned. Killed him for the mask, and he dropped no other loot. Camped to my rogue, looted the mask, and Ranger gated back to GL.

Total Time: almost 2 hours




So, in about 6 hours and 40 minutes, I had 4 new illusion masks and clicky levitate. The night before, I got my shrink wand in the first kill of Koxiux the Imperceptible. I'm starting to wish I wasted my life at a casino instead of at EQ.

I just got him first time i walked in zone about 3 mins ago. Took 45 mins of camping mob. He spawned...first kill dropped the mask. Its even clickie from inventory. I've killed that damn shrink wand guy for 5 days straight because of Sony nerfing our shrinking devices. WOOT! Thank goodness for short halfllings!

Got it today :) one PH and pop there he was got halfling mask first named spawn. Good luck to everyone else!! Can confirm loc below is correct and camp is easily soloable as 70+

Ya the changlings are a revamp with the tss expansion. they are found in a lot of zones like chardok, kurn's tower, CT, etc.

His spawn loc is...420, 165, -309. Im standing on it as i write this down. If you look at the map, you will see two tunnels in far north that sorta form two big loops. The one you want is the one thats to the west in more of the central part of the map, and the one you DON'T want is the in the NE. The spawn is in the upper left portion of the loop just south of the alcove that contains 3 undead and 1 slave mob.

Spawn cycle time is 19min 30sec, ive been using the timers on the corpses left behind.

Mobs in the spawn cycle include: a scarred overseer, a veteran overseer, Overseer Dal'guur.

Totaly soloable by a 70 bard i just slow him with 67 slow, and use call and muram. Its pretty straigh fwrd. I basicly run right up to him and hold him on the loc of his spawn and fight there. Once he drops down to 10% he enrages. Once hes done with enrage, he MAY flee. I highly suggest switching over to the Aoe SLOW/SNARE spell our lvl 54 song at this point so he doesnt wander into any adds.

At this point I back around the corner down the hall from the 3 Undead and the other sarnak. *this is exactly NW of his spawn loc. There I con the body to time the spawn and wait for the next spawn.

As far as loots, the dagger is highly common along with a random lvl 50-60 spell of any class, many of which weren't on his loot table. The ring and the cloak appear to be uncommon, with the boots(maby), mask, water sprinkler, and saber considerably rarer.

Note: I dont bother killing any other mobs in the area.

I tried following people's posted loc's and ended up no where near where I was supposed to be. You can copy this into your map file to find it a lil easier...

I got really lucky on this camp. Veteran Overseer up when I got there. Next pop was Overseer Dal`guur and grats me on a new illusion mask :). It is payment for killing well over 1300 mobs in Vxed and still no zone wide rare mask yet :(.

2 ph's 1 named, dropped mask... now i need to get one for myself =/

dropped Spell: Mala (MAG, 60)

Also drops the following spells: Infusion, Call of the Hero, and Pillar of Lightning. Just got all these from him while camping mask.

Happened to be exping in DokB on my 56 rogue when a friend of mine came into DokA with a random rogue who'd asked him to help her camp the mask (He had never met/heard of her and didn't ask for anything...he's just nice like that.)
Well they had been there less than an hour when she had to go to bed, lamenting that she knew for a fact as soon as she did the Overseer with the mask would pop.
Well...he did.

you can also kill the adds around the spawn point for complete boredum.. pull about 3 and charm one and have a little fun whlie you wait =P

this is my 3rd or 4th.. maybe 5th time down here, but longest in one sitting... roughly 6 or 7 daggers, 4 or 5 signets, 1 cape, no mask (obviously) at this point... been here about 2 - 3 hours so far this sitting and about total of about 10? maybe heh... i wanna burn the zone down when i get it :P

Just got mask 5 minutes ago. 3 days and 20 named/59 PH's later it finally dropped along with spell: greater vocaration:water....Now time to burn my Chardok files :)

8 hours on the 2nd
14 hours on the 3rd
8 hours on the 6th

Have gotten 12 rings, 13 stabbers, 7 cloaks. 655pp, 1907gp.

Easily solo'able at spawn point. Only got adds once, and it was from the skellies (I accidently got too close).

Generally so far...he spawns 4 out of 7-8 spawns, then not at all for like 4 hours. Getting really tired of this guy, but I know the minute I leave, he will drop it.

Will continue to update my progress. I plan to camp this the rest of the week to get this damn mask.

K, got 4 spawns in a row. If he's holding the dagger, that's the only thing he'll drop, if he's not, he has the possibility of dropping both the signet and the iksar hide cape at once, but haven't seen what he drops with the mask, yet.

Can confirm the veteran and scarred overseer are his placeholder, with a spawntime of 20 minutes, and so far, I've gotten everything but the damned mask.

i camp this guy now...hits max 172 on me...
im clearing him and another spawn to keep free of adds...respawn is 18-20 min on him and he shares spawns with.

sometimes he pop after he just been killed other times he pop after like 10-15 PHs.

this camp for the mask is a straight pain in my butt.

spawntimes below isnt correct..when i kill his PH 2 times i kill the other spawn 3 times so forget about those 6min pops..

mostly the non PH is an pitboss a no named dude who can drop spells and gems..
