Sullied SilkJust to confirm this guy still spawns in the hut at 2928, -29 and at ruins #5 on the EQ Atlas map (this is the ruins on the road, a short run south from the fort).
Took 3 PH kills to spawn at ruins and 4 or 5 PH kills in the fort hut.

This mob drops the Goblin Sparring Gloves AC3, Vs Poison +1, Wt. 0.4 IKS, MNK only for the Shackle of Rock quest given by Master Niska in East Cabilis. He randomly pops in any goblin camp much like Grachnist does, though in my experience Grachnist is much more common.

Popped in second hut to left as you enter goblin fort from the south entrance.

He can spawn at the ruins just outside of the goblin fort to the south or at the hut afore mentioned.

I just finished camping this guy with my monk. I've found that he spawns in the hut at 2928, -29. Hope this helps.

Confirmation, he does spawn at the exact location of 2928, -29 inside the fort in a tent...

Does this guy always drop gloves in your all's experience???
Ive killed him multiple times and ill i get is a no drop tongue every time

He spawned for me in hut 5 as well after the third or fourth spawn.
While i was waiting killed all goblins in the forth but had a lvl 41 monk and 44 druid.
No problem as the druid could heal disease from the pit fighter DOB.

I spend an hour, killing every goblin in the fort. Grachnist The Destroyer pop like 4 times one night( only gloves) and no pit fighter. The next morning, I got up and Grachnist spawned 4 more times and I got the earring, but still no pit fighter.

Granted he might spawn anywhere.. but when i was looking for Grachnist, my mage was clearing the entire goblin fort. Well this pit fighter guy popped about every other cycle at the north west most tent, just inside the goblin fort.. Saw him about 10 times while I was there... I still never got that stupid earing..

Here is how I did it. South and within site of the Goblin Fort is a ruin with one Goblin. He is a random 15 minute spawn. Just camp this area and kill whomever spawns and eventually the Pitfighter will spawn.
This is pretty boring, but it is the way to do it. I spent over 6 hours (over a couple of days) before he spawned, but I got the gloves when he did.
Good Luck and if you do kill this guy and you are not a monk - check to see if there is one in the zone and allow him to loot - they are no drop.

GREAT advice, i just completed this and got the pitfighter gloves. Of course... when i got to the hut he was already there! OMG! that's the shortest camp i've done yet in this quest. Anyway, it's hut #5 of the EQ Atlas map if anyone else is wondering.
