I don't think they would accept the ancient version as a replacement but you might try it.

Duo'ed Today,

65sk (450aa) + 65paladin (200aa)

Sk, was well geared, paladin had mostly defiant.

Once you separate him from adds, he's just a long boring fight.

I used unholy aura in conjunction with Drain soul as primary and innys touch (when needed)

Another SK solo

Basically the same deal as the Final Arbitor... just look at my post there. Only on this one, I parsed it... he has about 500k hp, and the fight took me about 25 minutes. I just pulled him and all his adds out into the hallway, killed the adds, then ground him down.
Solo'd
# Oct 20 2006 at 10:01 PM Rating: Decent
Solo'd him tonight. 75/1100 SK. It took about 20 minutes or so I think. The hit range was 11 to 389ish, but the average was only about 100. He dropped 2 weapons, protection of the glades, and 3 crystal looking things called Founder's Velium Creation.

Took about 45 minutes. Dropped prismatic bow, couple of spells, and "Founder's Velium Creation" which isn't listed here.

Bored when exp night was called, 70 bard & 70 ranger (both time/qvic) & (botted) 65 cleric went into ST, made this guy go splat... the little DC guys (newly-created sentries, I think) repopped too fast to pull him single, so I (bard) ended up pulling them all at once, out the door and down the ramp, while ranger tagged Progenitor and pulled him into the pool room, then faded the mini's off and ran back to kill. Took about 20 minutes, unslowable & hit for 480 max (shielding), ranger tanked, cleric was at 40m by the time it was over. Dropped quest piece, 4 spells, and one primal (cleric ninja-looted the lance because my zerker isn't flagged)... once the baby zerker gets keyed we'll be back for more!

Immune to slow. Doesn't hit hard - but hits fast. Lots of HP - 150K+ at a minimum. Recommend two clerics healing rotation - or similar healing power for an average equipped tank.

"Kerefym is the child of naggy/vox, be kind of hard for him to be the god of the gods....."

No he isn't. Dozekar is the father of Kerafyrm. I don't know who the mother is, but if you look in the lore, Dozekar is his father. Naggy and Vox WANTED to mate so they could create ANOTHER dragon like Kerafyrm. They didn't actually do it.

There's some text somewhere about this whole thing about the sleeper, where he came from why he's what he is etc. Something about how bad it would be for a Prismatic Dragon to be created, which is what Naggy and Vox did. Shame on you Naggy and Vox, bad dragons. =P

I mean look, Mary and Joseph had the baby Jesus didn't they?
RE: STopped!?

Here’s the relatively short version. In days long past, a dragon leader named Kildrukaun forbade dragons of opposing elemental powers to mate. It was his belief, and thus the belief of his allies, that such a unification was against Veeshan’s will. Later, two dragons of opposite elements desired to mate. Kildrukaun dismissed this, but the dragons mated anyway, and the resulting offspring was the first prismatic dragon. Kildrukaun was fascinated rather than angry, for in his eyes the only being who could defy his will was Veeshan herself. The prismatic dragon was named Kerafyrm, the Prophetic Savior, and was allowed to exist.
During this time, the dragon nation split. The Ring of Scale separated from the Claws of Veeshan and fled to Kunark. Kildrukaun was furious and viewed this as a threat to the dragon race, as if they were not united, they may become as weak as the second generation. He believed that the Claws of Veeshan should storm the Ring of Scale and reunite the dragon nation by force. He also believed that Kerafyrm was “the future,” and that his purpose was to lead the dragon nation in a civil war which would bring the Ring of Scale back under the control of the elders. His allies disagreed, because although the Ring of Scale should be brought back to Velious, they could not ignore the threat of the giant nation of Kael Drakkal. Kildrukaun’s anger was intensified at this, but he did not show it. Over the centuries, he managed to sway three of the elders to his side and personally oversaw Kerafyrm’s final stages of growth. Kerafyrm, meanwhile, had developed a level of power previously unseen in a dragon of his still young age.
After he reached maturity, Kerafyrm became the most powerful general of the Claws of Veeshan. He led several successful campaigns against the giants of Kael and grew in influence with his elders. But something dark grew within him. He became increasingly violent and ruthless. Eventually he became a monster with an insatiable lust to kill and destroy. Kerafyrm was finally deemed to be as much a threat to the Claws as the giants and the elder council ordered his termination. At that, Kildrukaun and his allies abandoned the council and joined Kerafyrm to assist him in the war to come.
Although the war against Kerafyrm, Kildrukaun and the elders Kildrukaun had swayed to his side was short-lived, it was nothing short of devastating. Kerafyrm and his allies were greatly outnumbered, but they consistently displayed their incredible power. Finally, Kerafyrm was restrained and imprisoned in the tomb which was to contain him in a state of torpor forever. Guarding the tomb and maintaining Kerafyrm’s stasis were the four elemental Warders, dragons of exceptional power. Kildrukaun and his traitorous allies fled Velious to places unknown and have remained in hiding ever since.
Kerafyrm slumbered for countless years. Until recently. Foolish adventurers seeking fame and fortune, and utterly ignorant of the force they were to unleash, invaded the tomb and defeated the Warders. Kerafyrm was awakened and released, easily disposing of the intruders. Apparently Kildrukaun and his allies were still alive and have taken hold on the former tomb of their master, where they now await his return. Kerafyrm, meanwhile, has left for places unknown.
Kildrukaun has always hated the second generation and has long desired its extinction. Kerafyrm will be out for blood at being imprisoned for so long. It is likely that Kildrukaun will seek to use Kerafyrm’s overwhelming power to destroy the elder council and then the entire second generation. The result will be a world inhabited only by Veeshan’s children.
(What I wonder, however, is, can Kildrukaun control Kerafyrm? It is obvious that Kerafyrm has no compunctions to killing other dragons, so it seems there may be one glaring flaw in Kildrukaun’s plan: Kerafyrm does not want to conquer the world, he wants to destroy it!)

And now, the real thing. The following dialogue has been ripped off from someone else's post. All rights reserved. That having been said, please don't sue me. ^_^

[Sun Sep 29 22:48:04 2002] You say, 'Hail, Jortreva the Crusader'
[Sun Sep 29 22:48:05 2002] Jortreva the Crusader lifts her wings in a graceful motion as she lowers her chin to eye Ironhand in greetings, ''I am Jortreva, Crusader of Veeshan. I am the ear to the whispers upon the shadows and the eyes to witness the tainted footsteps of our enemies that corrupt our path. Your kind, the second generation of the lesser gods' creation, have brought us into being as we are now -- for that, we hold neither gratitude nor contempt. It is your actions that have sent us spiraling through an umbra of immeasurable danger that could secure the destruction of all upon this world, but it shall be through the undying efforts of the [champions] that we may have some chance to ward this darkness back into the oblivion it strives to create.''
[Sun Sep 29 22:48:25 2002] You say, 'What are champions?'
[Sun Sep 29 22:48:25 2002] Jortreva the Crusader says ''We are four elemental dragons bred to be champions among our people -- within this world. We do not seek recognition or praise from either world -- yours or that of Veeshan's brood -- but we seek to protect and maintain the balance that keeps our worlds separate, yet unified upon the same plane of existence. When Kerafyrm was first placed into stasis by our predecessors, the elemental warders, the [council] ordered the arranged breeding of what would be the warders' replacements when the time came for their stations to ascend. However, the unpredicted actions of the second generation have thrown us into a new role -- the role of Crusaders.'''

[Sun Sep 29 22:48:39 2002] You say, 'What council?'
[Sun Sep 29 22:48:39 2002] Jortreva the Crusader says ''When dragon kind was accompanied upon this world by the lesser god's intrusion, the council of elders was formed. Immediately our ancestors realized the need for our kind to be of sound unification if we were to prevail and remain the superior beings upon what is rightfully our world. As we watched the eras pass through both the second generation and our own cultures, the members of the council changed. Eventually, one known as Kildrukaun would be appointed Arch Priest of Veeshan through divine rite and ceremony -- a sacred part of our institution that I shall not divulge to one as yourself. His first decree would be to condemn the unification of souls between dragons whose elemental influences were of opposition. It was of his belief, and thus the belief of the council, that such a union was against Veeshan's will and would have dire consequences upon the entire dragon nation. Time would pass again before [fate] would descend upon Kildrukaun's decree.'''

[Sun Sep 29 22:48:47 2002] You say, 'What fate?'
[Sun Sep 29 22:48:47 2002] Jortreva the Crusader says ''Two dragons of opposite elemental powers confronted the council with their desire to mate. Kildrukaun immediately dismissed any blessing and ordered the dragons from ever fulfilling their desires. These two were young still and very headstrong, regarding the council and its rules to be outdated when considering the growing influence and power of the second generation. They fled to unknown corners of Norrath and there, they bound their souls in a sacred union that would forge the first prismatic dragon. When knowledge of this event came to the council, Kildrukaun, a being of great wisdom and calm heart for regard of his own people looked upon the prismatic's creation as that of Veeshan's will, for conceivably unto him, only Veeshan herself could defy her great priest's rule. The council was in agreement and the hatchling, who would be named Kerafyrm, the Prophetic Savior, was allowed to continue existence under close watch that would be [governed by Kildrukaun himself].'''
[Sun Sep 29 22:48:53 2002] You say, 'How was it governed by Kildrukaun himself?'
[Sun Sep 29 22:48:53 2002] Jortreva the Crusader says ''Although Kildrukaun was inspired and intrigued by Kerafyrm's existence, he was wary still for he had yet to be witness to the true intent of Veeshan's will. In this time, the dragon nation had split and were in opposing power -- the Ring of Scale whom fled their native Velious for Kunark, and the Claws of Veeshan, the original order and council of dragon kind. It was known that Kildrukaun was furious with the recent division and he strongly believed that it was Veeshan's will for the dragon nations to reunite once again, lest they become as weak and pitiful as the second generation. He viewed Kerafyrm to be the road that would guide the dragons to unification, although it was a unification that would be borne of an unknown purpose that Kerafyrm served. Kildrukaun never interacted with the young prismatic dragon, but served as the dictator behind his mentors. Eventually, Kerafyrm would rise to a power unseen within any dragon of his still fledgling age and Kildrukaun's [prophecy] would be born.''
[Sun Sep 29 22:48:59 2002] You say, 'What Prophecy?'
[Sun Sep 29 22:48:59 2002] Jortreva the Crusader says ''Kildrukaun was of the mind that Kerafyrm was meant to lead the dragon nation in a civil war -- the Claws of Veeshan invading the great mountain fortress known as Veeshan's Peak that the Ring of Scale had established. He was certain that his campaign would unify the dragons and this was nothing less than the will of Veeshan herself. The council dismissed Kildrukaun's prophecy, exclaiming that although they must find a way to bring the Ring of Scale back under the wing of the elder council, they could not wage a war and abandon the threat of Kael Drakkal. Kildrukaun was furious, although he did not confront the council directly. Over the passing centuries, he would sway three of the [council elders] to his side and would personally oversee Kerafyrm's final stages of growth. Eventually the time would come when the council would [recognize their mistake] in allowing Kerafyrm to exist and their order for his termination would be the greatest impact in their destiny.''
[Sun Sep 29 22:49:13 2002] You say, 'What council elders?'
[Sun Sep 29 22:49:13 2002] Jortreva the Crusader says ''When dragon kind was accompanied upon this world by the lesser god's intrusion, the council of elders was formed. [Sun Sep 29 22:49:48 2002] You say, 'How would the recognize their mistake?'
[Sun Sep 29 22:49:48 2002] Jortreva the Crusader says ''Kerafyrm quickly ascended the ranks within the Claws of Veeshan and eventually became our most powerful general. He led several successful campaigns against the rising threat of the giants of Kael and his influence grew among the elders of the council. However, something dark grew within him -- his bite became venomous and his talon ruthless in its command over his troops and allies. Eventually, his dominion and influence was nothing short of a monstrous creature of pure malignant hatred and an unrivaled lust for destruction and chaos that the council had no other choice but to demand his destruction -- a rule that Kildrukaun was present to hear and deceitfully condone. Shortly thereafter, Kildrukaun and four council elders whom the arch priest had managed to sway with his charismatic diplomacy and sound argument of his prophecy flew to Kerafyrm's side, where the four of them made preparations for the inevitable [war] to come.'''

Kerafyrm's legions were severely outnumbered by those of the elder council, but time and time again they displayed their awesome strength and power. Eventually, Kerafyrm was restrained and taken to what would be his place of indefinite slumber. The four traitorous elders fled Velious safely to unknown locations, where they would lay in wait until the time came that Kerafyrm would be released. After centuries of hiding, the Ancients have returned and they now have a near unbreakable hold upon the former tomb of their master, where again they lay in wait -- anticipating the arrival of their master and the time to execute the undoubtedly phenomenal plan that will [bring about the extinction of all great existence] upon Norrath if they are successful.'''

(A note about the above dialogue: Although the “two dragons of opposing elemental powers” are not named, so far, almost everyone believes they are Vox and Nagafen. It would make sense, since they are both weak, for dragons (which would indicate that they are still young), and they are of opposing alignments, ice and fire, respectively. Plus, when Kerafyrm is awakened, far away in Permafrost, Vox shouts a message as if saying that she has been waiting for him to awaken.)
Oh, and one more thing; my religion isn't important, but I think real-life religion is best left out of EQ.

All correct cept for Vox/Naggy.

Vox/naggy are ROS not CoV.

The father = Dozekar, hence he is "Dozekar the Cursed" forced to die over and over again in the halls of testing. The mother has yet to be named.

First)- Why are you commenting on whether or not any of his information is correct?? It wasn't some theory he had.. its log captured text generated by the game.... :/
Second)- What does the current alignment of Naggy or Vox have to do with whether they created Kera or not. As noted in the text of the crusader.. the split of the factions took place after the creation of Kera.. hence the current alignments are of no relevence as to who was involved.
Third)- Dragons derive their power from mating (from tons of non-EQ lore, but carried over in EQ) and would explain why Naggy and Vox are so weak being imprisoned and alone for practically ever.
Fourth)- Vox was the only dragon to speak, serverwide I might add on Inny, about the sleepers awakening.. Why would such a weak dragon know of his awakening the minute it happen, and therefore preclaim her yearning, if not for some personal involvement with Kera...

#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 11 2002 at 3:59 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Just imagine what they could do IRL if they put their mind to it. However, they won't get any respect from me. I have read their posts, seen their web site, and would be ashamed to be apart of a guild that
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 25 2002 at 8:12 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Im agreed whit the 56 anonumous cleric, FoH might be the most uber guild in EQ, but they are still a bunch of a$$holes, they think they are the best of all, but this is just a game.
Afterlife, Fires of Haven,Triton...

Now I've seen some pics in the past and present....But of all the Guilds in EQ the toss up has to go to Triton on Povar, Afterlife on Mithaniel, and Fires of Heaven on Veeshan. these are the guilds I wish were on Rallos Zek but *sigh* no PvP server will ever have any guilds as great as these three mentioned. Now only if I could finally hit 60 and join some good guilds on Rallos I'd be sooo happy, and only if you could transfer from a PvP server to a non-PvP server that would be great because I would be on one of tose servers with those guild. But allas.....VI blows @$$ as usuall.....Gratz to these three guilds for takin down Lord Inquistor Seru and Emperor Ssraeshza in the past two weeks, UBER LEET gratz.....I gravel at your glory. ;)

#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 23 2002 at 9:50 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Fires of Heaven is THE BEST guild in EQ!!
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 22 2002 at 8:20 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I have to disagree. Sullon Zek has uber guilds on it as well. Saecula Omnimodus Bellum and Vindictive to mention a couple. PvP servers > all.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 20 2002 at 4:41 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Take it from me, I play on Veeshan with FoH... You might drool over their loots from across servers, but once you get to know these people you realize one thing. Theyre hillariously assholish. Phat lewts on the brain, methinks
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 20 2002 at 9:47 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) ok....blue servers aren't the only servers that can have uber guilds...I play on Rallos and there are several awesome guilds. I'm surprised they are as good as they are considering you'd think they would have less members then guilds on blue servers. don't think blue servers are the only uber people.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 14 2002 at 3:36 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) yeah friggin right, have fun trying to get into a guild that uber guilds call uber... lvl 60 doesnt mean instant entrance. you have to prove your worth, and that can mean many different things.

So, you wanna see some pictures of the sleeper? Here's a nice little link to Afterlife on Mithaniel Marr server. Have fun and have pity on all the fools caught in Kerafym's wake.

Almost makes you feel sorry for them...and us too, since thanks to them, it's going to be even harder to get primal stuff!

Actually, as a 56 ranger I have rooted a 60 warrior in a fight. It was kind of amusing seeing this level 60, full Kael armor, etc etc warrior lose to a 56 ranger in decent armor and a rather crappy bow. True, he resisted root like 15 times before it stuck, but I eventually did get it to stick.
Primal isnt gone

I dont know why you guys still think that since sleeper has been awoken primal is no more. Primal weapons still drop in ST and although are not as common do still exist. With the lost of warders the only thing you lose is Sceptre of Destruction and Shroud of Longetivity. Primal is still there just a little harder to get:)
