Coercer & friends
# May 30 2007 at 2:11 AM Rating: Decent
Did this today with a 75 rogue, 75 beastlord + 57 Rogue and myself 75 Wiz , easy for anyone. major overkill.

just picked off the adds one by one, zoned and med up, go kill the rest but left Coercer, zoned out & 57 rogue did turn in. no problems cept for the Spazzing beastlord [Tuddaorf] forgot to zone out.
>> Everybody point and laugh! <<

Back a few hours later picking things off 1 at a time on Wizzy 1200+ AA.
was hoping for Coercer for robe to MQ, it didn't drop earlier.. but Coercer wasn't up, Advizor C`zatl was up and dropped the Kedge Robe by chance, I had just looked it up here.

Good luck all, and check every body ! you never know.

Last robe my rogue needs was the Kedge, so after spending hours going through these boards, i thought i would post updates, changes..

Ive read a lot about people saying they have kited these mobs. wrong. unless SOE has nerfed these mobs since these posts they SUMMON, and quite frequently i might add. Took me a few deaths as a 66 necro and a 65 cleric box to figure out the pull right and heres how it goes:

you MUST have a 65+ cleric, ranger druid, enchanter who can pacify these mobs (pacify wont work, has to be Pacification). You must kill the undead inside the hut before you can target the DEs, dont worry the DEs will NOT agro you for attacking the undead from the hillside, usually one nuke each is enough to clear the house of clutter. now you are free to target each elf in the house to pacify. Start at the back and pacify all the mobs in the house as QUICK as you can and then refresh on the first mob as your group or partner pulls. IMPORTANT that if you are pulling with LESS than a full group, that you pull with DISPELL. All the mobs in the house are hasted, so if you dont have a slower pull with dispell. Also the Coercer casts Runes on the other elves which can be quite annoying as well. from there it is simply a matter of keeping the pet/tank healed while mob dies.

One more important thing: do this during the day. Not only does it save you by being annoyed by the wandering undead, but the undead inside the hut and guarding the door suddenly repop to 'guards' I.E. ghoul guard, Zombie guard.. etc. attacking THESE undead WILL agro the de in the hut so be careful.

Hope this helps, took me a while and a few deaths to get up to date.

It is quite easy to kite these solo, I'm level 70, but you should have no difficulty as a 66 necro. All you have to do is fd split the one you want and then aggro kite it as you would anything else. You have plenty of time to cast a spell between summonings to refresh dots or lifetap your health back. Even if you leave them hasted they are very easy (the exception being the Brigadier as he seems to hit much faster and stuns fairly often, still not difficult, but you might actually have to pay attention to him).

Drops Teir`Dal Chainmail Leggings and Ruined Battleworn Morning Star.
we killed her
# Jul 19 2002 at 3:18 PM Rating: Decent
Our lv 60 wizard pulled her We had him buffed
to the max with cleric and resistant buffs)
he pulled her with a debuff spell and ran like hell to Rv zone the monk was Fd at rv zoneline
when the other de go back to their camp he tags her because she stops to rebuff herself. She is easy to kill if ya can get her by herself.
Oh btw invising the group up on the hill by the zone is a good idea)Anyway she had the robe I got it .
Gl to all of you I know I waited 3 months for kedge cause I didnt realize how easy it could be
just checking on her for color of robe)
creating a level 1 halfling rogue helps alot
because of not having to travel to check)

Killing elves for robes.
# Jul 17 2002 at 10:30 AM Rating: Decent
If you plan on killing the elves in search of robes and not spawning the General then you don't need as many people as you may think. The mobs are hard, yes. But if kited and pulled properly you can take them down with as little as a single group.

A lvl 60 Druid to pull and kite.
A high lvl Cleric
A Mage/Necro/Wiz
An Enc
Two melee

Thats all it takes. A good 60 Druid can pull the elves single. If he screws up the pull he can run away a short distance and then L. Succor himself to clear aggro and try again. Thats how we did it. Took 3 or 4 tries to get the pull right but then the battle was a cakewalk. Pulled the elves one-by-one to the WC zoneline, Tashed, and then kited 'em around in circles until they died. It was effortless. We spent all last weekend killing the elves each time they spawned and haven't had a death yet.

So could a druid kite them by himself?

Been doing this for weeks now with the following group:

56 war
56 rog
55 pal
54 dru
53 enc
51 clr

Easier than even you thought :)

Last night we tried him, but you really need a tank because he'll port back to spawn if you don't have a melee on him.

60 drd, 55 enc, 53 cleric - got him down to about 8% then he ported back - BOOOOOOOO, Wimpy dark elf!
Had my doubts.

My guild spent the entire past weekend killing the Coercer and a couple random other elves in Kith that were pulled on accident. Got nothing but Ishiva robes: now each Rogue in our guild has one, as does one of our Wizzies. Then Sunday at around midnight we pulled the Advisor for fun after the Coercer was killed. Sure enough the Advisor dropped the Kedge robe and I finished my Epic. I was told that only the Coercer drops the Kedge robe but was pleased to be proven wrong.

Robe of the Kedge
# Jan 22 2002 at 2:43 AM Rating: Decent
The last robe one of the rogues in my guild needed was The Robe of the Kedge...So we went to Kithicor and harmony pulled this camp. Was told the robes only dropped off the Coercer, but we pulled this one second and it happened to drop the Robe of the Kedge for us. Was a very nice surprise and was very happy to have another epic in my guild :)

Is this the Uber DE who drops the Robe of the Ishva and Robe of the Kedge as common drops? Or is it one of the other ubers in this cabin?

Yes, I had the very unfortunate experience of accidently coming across his cabin, he and that Adjutant dark elf wiped me out in less than a second ( I kid you not). I can only say I was lucky to came back and summon my corpse without being seen....)
