WELL this is not right ... didnt know was to get bhind her ...she took hammer and didnt give it back ... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr so now what .. i not doing agin
These directions assume you know how to get to the Erudin Palace. There are two ways to find Mairee:
1) When you first zone into ERUDIN PALACE, use the FIND tool to locate "Sothure Gemcutter" who is standing next to Mairee.
If FIND is not working:
2) When you first zone into ERUDIN PALACE, take the stairs down on the left (North) side of the first big room. Once in the downstairs room (with the long water trough running North-to-South), take the first door on the left (NorthEast corner) with the sign "Sothure's Fine Gems". Inside, go through the door behind the counter (beside Anite Gemcutter). In the back room you will find Mairee and Sothure.
Did successful hand-in of "Soulbound Hammer" while dubious to Mairee.

My ranger got her SSoC MQ by an ogre shaman with dubious faction. It worked fine. My ranger was dubious as well, but I was sneaking for the turnin.

in fact she is on no faction, i was mqing the sphere today and had 2 different ppl try to hand it in. After she wouldnt take spheres from both i paid the guy 1k to kill her... she respawned after about 15 mins and i MQ the swirling sphere. The monk said he took no faction hit for the kill... and wasnt KoS after she respawned.

I have a friend who is willing to turn in the swirling spere of color to Mariee Silentone in Erudin BUT he has kos erudin faction and kos tunare faction. Is it possible for this person to "chain" this with the bad faction?

Has anyone tried to MQ the Dwarven Smiths Hammer and the Swirling Sphere of Color turnin for the Ranger epic?? What about faction issues of both parties, I know that with the shaman epic faction plays an important part when you want to do a MQ. I don't seem to remember any faction messesages while doing the ranger epic however.

Don't do the SK quest in OT. It is a waste of your time, if you are just trying to turn in the hammer for the ranger epic.
First of all. She is in the palace not the city. bottom floor in the gem shop. Turn left when you enter the shop there is a door go thru it and you will find her glaring at you dubiously.
Go behind her and HIDE. You become indifferent. Turn in the hammer and you only have a few more steps to go until you are epiced

You can't turn anything in while you are hidden, but you can sneak, which is what I did to do the first turn-in of the hammer.

Most definately NOT on True Spirit.. She cons Dubious to my Shaman who is max ally to True spirit (also ally to all Erudite factions, and Max KOS to most Tunare factions)

I doubt she is on True Spirit. My wizard was kos (scowled at) to True Spirit after completing his epic, and was still dubious to Mairee Silentone. Everyone I've ever asked to con her has been dubious as well.

What faction is this NPC on? I know she isnt any of the Erudin factions because i am indifferent or better with all of them.

She is on TRUE SPIRIT faction, it's a fairly normal faction for quest NPC's for ranger wizard shaman and paladin
