Just an update and confirmation. As of this post I was apprehensive and he would not talk to me or acknowledge my hails. I did not sneek or illusion or anything other than duck. All I did was give him the various items he required at the various steps of the ranger epic and he would respond by giving me the desired text and desired item in return.

I was just a bit concerned at doing the hand-ins with sneak. Especially with the spawned dwarf popping in.
The faction info seems to require both factions to be raised. I was amiable to Storm Guard but still apprehensive to Kinlo.
Rat Whiskers to the rescue. After a quick run round newbie zone merchants in Freeport and killing a few rats (not the silly "a Rodent" things" - good honest rats) I handed in 2 stacks to the Exterminator by the Rogue guild in North Kaladim and moved to indifferent with Kinlo.
Why worry about sneaking when you can fix faction so easily.

I did the turn in just now at Aprehensive faction. He wouldn't respond to hails or "what mud" and "do it for me". I just gave him the Axe and he gave me the brick.

I conned him first w/o sneak was dubious and would not respond to triggers. Fearful of my Reaver, I snuck around and conned him, this time was indiff and said what mud and lo and behold, he responded. Turned in and got me a block of clay.
Last night I turned in my jade reaver to him and got the clay. He conned apprehensive to me. Sneak was not required, but I was standing behind him to trade.
Incidentally, everyone seems concerned about losing their jade reaver if they try to turn it in with too low faction. Since a recent patch, if the NPC either decides not to do business with you, or if the NPC doesn't know what to do with the item, you will get it back.

not necessarily, I just tried to do the Thurgadin armor qust (druid gloves) and the dorf "ate" all my items, the gloves and 3 gems. He did say that he wouldnt make me the gloves(becuase my faction is too low) but i tried to do it anyway... Oh well, the thurgadin gloves are bad anyway.

He is not true spirit, my druid (as are all of them) is dubious to that. Nor do druids raise truespirit for the epic as well as true spirit not raising DURING their epic (true spirit is not involved at all)
He is not stormguard, which the guards and warrior guild is on, my druid is max allied to that.
When I did my epic I was apprehensive to merchants in kaladim and to him. After doing the ogre war maul quest some to raise kaladim merchants, I'm now indiff to kaladim merchants and him.
He is on kaladim merchants ;)
So the way to raise him is to first be able to do stormguard quests, such as turning in cb belts/shoulders and such then raise merchants that way. I believe all quests with the warrior guild also raise kaladim merchants, but the ogre war maul one with Ogrebane at guild does for sure.

I was very confused as to what faction Kinlo was on, but today after three trips back and forth to Canloe and the bone chip guy, I am apprehesive and he accepted the reaver and gave up the clay. I would recommend the Crushbone route, since you can raise your Stormguard faction by tagging groups MoBs and then beg to get the CB denizens to sell you belts and pads. I had a 53 epic monk for a day, he collected a LOT of belts quickly )
No druid epic mob is on true spirit, we don't have good true spirit faction. I have good faction with this guy.

If you use sneak to get him to con indiff then all you have to do is hand it in and you won't lose your jade reaver.

So I got the Jade Reaver finally... ready to hand it in, low and behold I con dubious and he won't respond to my triggers! Bah... tried killing some crushbone orcs, got bored quick.. so got a 60 enchanter from our guild to come with me.. charmed Kinlo, low and behold he spoke to me and I didn't end up wasting my Reaver :) GL

The faction is "True Spirit" , and I cant get him to respond. he cons "way apprehensively".
He's an inportant part of the ranger epic I'm doin, and as far as I've researched, there is no way to raise the faction! /shrug
Maybe I'll try to use sneak.

I thought he might be on the pally or cleric faction but he is not. I was told that he might be on the Kaladim citizens faction.

Hello, I am Ruffrider Rydeordie a 59 druid on the Solusek Ro Server. I hit a spot where I'm kinda screwed. I killed lots of Guards and my Citizen faction is messed up. you know any way of me getting around, or fixing this? I need a sure fire way because took me very long time to get Jade Reaver. ThanX ).
