51 warrior should be able to do the whole thing by himself all but lodi, but for dire wolves just get a buddie to heal you... be much faster and only takes like half a hour to a hour at most for dire wolf stalker to pop, Stormfeather you shouldnt have a problem at level 51 come to think of it my brother killed him with his 49 sk without even casting on him, and part in GD well that just takes 2 mins help from a enchanter to do turn in. Lodizal part I dont know about your server but every time on BB his maps just get destroyed so Im sure if its the same on your server could just have someone killing lodi let you loot a map off him when he dies...
Can a 51 warrior do this entire quest (aside from the Lodi part of the map) solo? Ofcourse, I'd have my SoW potions onhand...if that even matters...
I can pretty much take any and all lvl 30-40 mobs solo, assuming I dont get adds...1 add is ok, but many more than that, and I'll be gulpin my SoW potion and runnin for high ground (or the ZL)
But ya, I was just curious if I could get all the pieces, except #4

... five Minutes ago (Dec 18, 4:15 PM European Standart Time). Got 2nd part of Iceclad map and now I own the Eyepatch of Plunder :)

I am posting this because i killed SF on druzzil ro Sunday morning the 14th of dec at 1:40am. And after killing him i right clicked his corpse and 2 items appeared. the map piece and some claws. i clicked the map piece and it wouldnt let me loot it. i kept trying to click it i even inspected it and to no extent was i able to loot it. i was however able to loot the claws after only 1 click on the claws. has anyone else run into this kind of problem? pls help

Trying to find out if SF has been killed on The Tribunal server anytime recently.. any info. would be helpful.

Ok, this is Strait, and I play on Brill. There is lots of confusion on StormFeather spawn time. If you check SF spot, you deffionaly saw me sitting there, because I have camped him all Thankgiving week including both weekends. Even when I wasn't able to stay awake, or I had to work, I left strait on, with the log turned on, to check SF spawn time. Now I died about 3 or 4 time, and I got 2 pages. ( One for me and one for my pally ) So I know the following facts.
1) Shortest time he spawned was 29 hours.
2) Longest time was 34 hours.
3) Only one exception to #2 was the night of the server patch, which I ended up waiting 74 hours. But the server went down when he was expected to spawn, and he spawned 34 hours after it came back up. So weather he skipped his spawn or the server reset him, you decide.
So, in summary. He is NOT a 12, 19 or 24 hours spawn. He is between a 29 to 34 hours spawn.
And is he capable of skipping a spawn? Well you can decide that for your self.

My experience supports this theory of 29 to 34 hours. I've wanted to get this last piece for my Eyepatch for many months, but never had the patience to sit for long. As it turns out, I didn't have to.
I got word of the last kill time for Stormfeather on my server. 29 hours later, I logged my main out on the hill, with no sign of the griffon. I left a pre-level 10 alt on watch with logging enabled, soulbound at the docks, hoping to note the time when Stormy spawned and killed him. I left for the day.
When I got home and checked back in 34 hours after the last kill, Stormfeather was flying happily around the island, but not where my alt was sitting. I logged my main back on and nabbed me my last map piece.
Stormfeather used to be a fierce camp on my server, but since PoP and especially LDoN came out, Iceclad Ocean is mostly deserted outside of Lodizal spawns. Now it's just a matter of timing, using your head and your communication network, instead of sitting on your **** for mind-numbing days. Find out the time of the last kill or note when the server comes up from downtime, calculate an unpopular hour to catch Stormfeather after that. Leave a low level toon AFK and logging out there (preferably a ranger since they can track, and don't seem to get snow cougar aggro), and there's no need to sit and wait.

I have just killed Stormfeather on Stromm Server
it was on Wednesday 26th at 8am exactly in france.
so it means Wednesday 26th at 2am exactly for US east coast
or also Tuesday 25th at 11 pm exactly for US west coast.

Why the hell is SF such a long spawn timer, SoE should realize people have lives...we cant spend 2 days camping a mob and pray someone doesnt KS. it's so lame. They honestly need to change the spawn timer
Mobs like this were never inteded to be "camped." The long spawn time is to prevent everyone and their cousin from having the quest reward.
You're just supposed to kinda run by and say "Oh, SF is up, cool!" and kill him, not sit in one spot for days on end.

around 8:00pm est i was kiting around lodi untill the rest of my group arrived. having camped SF all day, almost 12 hours, i knew nobody was on his island so i pulled lodi there. having just left i figured i'd run around on the island till my group got there and kill lodi then. but to my surprise i see a giant bird fall from the sky. sure enough, he popped while i was kiting lodi. woulda pissed me off if i knew i just left and he popped. lol

Sormfeather dies at 12 midnight EST exactly, 7th hammer. 27 hour spawn time. Easy solo for 51st Warrior.

Camped it 3 times this last 2 weeks, the supposed 19 hour pop never worked for me , all 3 times i have logged death time and checked at 19 hours (arrived an hour or so before pop time) and no pop but after 11 hours on 2 occasions and 12 hours on the third occasion he popped. The approx loc for him is :- POS 5900 by POS 850
So i would plan for a 30 to 31 hour camp to catch it although you might get lucky and catch it at 19 hours. Hope this helps , bye :)

What Server were u on?
First of all, is he guaranteed to drop the map piece? Also, any chance I could get a /loc on his spawn point?
Second, can I as a 56 ranger with 200 track be able to tell if Lodi is up from where SF spawns?

He spwans just to the left of the docks that lead to North Ro, at the top of a hill peak and he usualy circles around. He dropped the map piece but no tallon! I dont think your track wil pick Lodi up he is on another island and the islands are all quite large, but supposedly there is a zone msg when Lodi pops!

Me again. By the way, I was on the Cazic Thule server when I killed Stormfeather.

On 9/28/03, approx. 3:25pm Southern California time (whatever that translates to be for you), I killed Stormfeather. That should give you an idea of when his next spawn time will be. About an hour before his spawn, a black cougar named Midnight popped. That might be another indicator. This is quite a story: My husband was camping this bird for days, he left me alone to stand post with my 56 wizard while he got a hair cut. Low and behold, he spawned and in my disbelief, flew right over my head. I began nuking with my ice comet spell but it resisted me. I was already at 20% health by stupidly nuking myself in error from being in such a frenzy. I then got on his computer and hit his attack button with his bard that was standing beside me. I couldn't believe I killed it single handidly. I feel so proud. LOL !! Hopefully, this will now vendecate me and show him that yes, I can play this game too. Hope this helps you.
