a greedy beggar  

i just met him when i arrived from freeport he considered me amiably i gave him a fish he helped me so i gave him a sword he used it to help me then he saved my live with it anyone who meet him plz give him stuff i recommend armor and weapons >:)newbs gie him stuff he is awesome and is a livesaver

Last nigth i was in bb heading too oot and i hailed thsi guy and so he went blah blah blah... I tried to give him copper btu eh "had no need" so i looked again and it said eh was hungry and thirsty lol, so i agve him a foarged pod of water adn he would not stop followign em around.

The little beggar is really, really annoying.. I gave him a few copper and, of course, he began following me. I was off to Freeport with some friends, so one of them decided to cast a spell on him. He yelled for the guards and attacked me. He was green. So I took him out easily with a root and a random nuke spell. Bad-ish faction.. You don't become KOS so that's kewl.

I got bored while looking for Walnan to complete a step in my epic quest and I got the following faction hits when I killed off the greedy begger. If he didn't have any faction beforehand, he does now.

Your faction standing with Guardians of the Vale got worse.
Your faction standing with Mayor Gubbin got worse.
Your faction standing with Storm Reapers got worse.
Your faction standing with Merchants of Rivervale got worse.
Your faction standing with Dreadguard Outer got better.

While waiting for spawn to mage epic here had som fun and had druid friend pet him. well was then able to give him summoned plate amor and sheild and sword. lol hopefull so that a newbie could use him as a pet later on. well then had druid zone and the begger ran off to where we never found out but cool idea for a low level character to use him for assiting in leveling to 15 or so.

I had seen this guy many times before, just sitting there begging people, then i wondered what he would do if i actually gave him something. So he did his little "I'm just a poor dumb halfling" speach and so i gave him all my copper pieces. So then he followed me around and took some damage and made some hits. He wasn't a great help, and not that i needed him cuz i was twinked anyway, and he was rather slow, couldn't keep up much. But every once and awhile i'd just let him have a little fun and kill a decaying skellie or a goblin by hiself, just for entertainment. But it is kinda cool that a warrior like myself could have a pet.

what would happen if he beccame a bst pet? then the bst buffed his lv up a bit? would be hella funny seeing a greeder begger quading for 50+.

one day i was going to see if anyone could sow me because i was heading to the dwarf place then the little beggar came he started asking me for money (i had none) so i thought if i gave him a weapon he would leave me alone or reward me with something be he didnt!! i gave him a fine steel long sword and a shield and he still didnt so i tryed to ignore him and a oger jumped me he was red to me be it just started attacking it i was supryized so i let him kill it and I GOT EXP it filled me up 4 1/2 buds and i coned the beggar and he was red to me and i figured out that hes a pet once you give him something!!

I was fighting with my lvl 2 dwarf rogue and I saw greedy begger hailed him and he folowed me around and hit for 55 max but I soloed dwarf skellies at spires they could only hit me once with begger as pet. he conned light blue to a 60. I think a 50 plus beastlord buffed him then logged becaause he retturns to spawn point after owner of him logs. if a high beast lord is in zone ask him to buff greedy begger. went from 2 to 20 after skellies I moved to enraged gobies

seems a bit of a risky business giving greedy beggars stuff

i gave this guy some coin one night and he followed me aroud for about 3 hours helping me level, i went from 3 to level 9 in what should have been a longer time, but he took most of the hits and i did most of the damage it was great for a cleric to have a pet

I was just a running from Kelethin to catch the boat in BB to FP, when i see this thing in the distance, i highlite it anf it says a greedy begger, well it conned green to me so i went over and hailed him. he said he wanted mony. i decided not to bother (i hate beggers) so i went to the docks, he folowed, i tryed everything and he wouldnt stop following me. So i wondered, "is he a pet now?" so i tryed my basic pet commands, nothing. then i wondered, i have a chanter, maby hs liek there pets. So i hit a spider once, and backed of, sure enough he started to attack it. Yelling "Guards, Guards, Help Me!". SO (and this is the truth) the guard i was near walked over, hit the begger with his axe, killed it and then walked away. Dont know if it was a glitch or what, but it was just funny to see. lol.

i accidentally killed this guy cuz i gave him a fish and he started following me around, i jus try to cast invisi and he yells out, "Guards!! help me im being attacked!" ...then he started hittin me and i jus killed him wit auto-attack....i don wanna have bad faction in revervale so if anyone can tell me how to get my faction up wit rivervale plz reply to this mssg or send me a tell on the Zebuxoruk server, my name ish Caldaan.

BTW-i hit him for 9-13 dmg ONLY once and he died...

im on lanys tvyl and beggar is lv 1, drops a torch (always) and you take a bad faction hit with all the basic halflings (the mayor the merchants etc.)

i think that the beggar by the docks has only ten HP,i killed himk at level one no damage taken, he just runs. I have never seen the otherr beggar but if someone leveled up using the other beggar that wanders i think the wanderer must be a little higher in level.

I had him following me around and tried to use one of my illusions. He attacked me, and I was forced to dispatch him. Just make sure to be careful using illsions if you want to keep him.

I now a lot of people think you cant but you can kill the beggar without a spell, but only if he isnt following you, if he is then you cant kill him.

i attacked him with mage for 13 dmg and he died.

That is the only way I could figure out to get rid of the little bugger. Was embarassing, really. I didn't know better and gave him a copper to see if he wasn't worth something more. Got laughs from all the characters in the know. See if I help any more beggars!

When I was like lvl 5 or 6, he was in the green, and so I tried to kill him, but he ran for the guards, so I freaked out and used Gate, but I cast a lvl 4 Wiz spell (probably shock of fire) and his HP went down at least 25% theres no way his min lvl is 7

With my mage at level 4, someone had asked me to kill this begger for them, so I did, I gave him one level 4 nuke and it was dead. No way he is higher then 1. Even level 1 monsters don't die from one level 4 nuke that does a max of 11 damage. Did get a Axe of the Frost though. Probably someone gave it to him.

i gave him 5 pp food water coper i had a pal for a good hr or so lol to i got him killed killing a lizerd por lil guy lol im lvl 10 mage i had 2 pets lol i couldnt kill it i tryed lol but then i didnt try before i gave him stuff his fun i think

i killed a greedy begger that conned green to me with my level 8 necro he had less than 11 hit points
