this mob CANT be pulled, you fight him underlava. make sure u have regwoth so the lava damage doesnt take so much out of you. we took him our with 14 people all lvl 50 to 60. he was easy and i was the only one who died "main tank". you have to come up to get healed, then swim back down. you have to kill his place holder for him to spawn, its a lvl 14 spite thing, i forgot the name. he hit me for 167 max damage with 900 ac. He spawns in the lake to the entrance of solA, he cant be targeted till you see him, which means u cant click on the lava to target him. we only had 3 tanks, 54 warrior "me" 57 monk "whom the mob was for" and a 52 ranger. he summoned me once when i went up top to get healed, but i just went back up again.
curios

# Dec 17 2001 at 4:16 PM Rating: Default
our guild just killed him recently. we had about 4-5 groups, mid to low 50s' and he droped like a rock. since there is almost zero visability in lava, I didnt even see him when he died lol!
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 03 2001 at 7:25 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) you guys are morons he is in the middle of the lava between sol a and sol b and hes hard as hell to see good luck.i followed our ranger down to the bottom and was standing right next to the main assist guy attacking and i was getting the message he was too far away.we still killed him 3 times.monk epic is too easy make it harder like the warrior epic..and all you mages quit complaining ..if we could buy our items it would be easy just like yours

I just ran off to look it up... He IS a fire sprite, He changes to Iksar form after you challenge him and meet him across the zone like I earlier mentioned. He hits for 157 faster than most monks do... The fire sprite himself is only level 14 so have at him if you want to despawn it.
Eejag Again

And yes... He is not an iksar, He is a fire sprite, Atleast thats what he's classified as.

This guy is a lizard NPC who moves back and forth between Druid ring and I THINK, Sol B. I read up on him and it says he challenges you to a fight and reappears across the zone,HE's a HUGE undercon. Take many groups in 60's to kill this guy... He is somewhere in the middle of the monk epic quest.
Um...
# Nov 17 2001 at 10:54 AM Rating: Default
How can you people say that he's not an Iksar? Look at the pic. =P
how deep
# Oct 08 2001 at 10:44 PM Rating: Default
how deep is the lava
He's not 60.
# Sep 06 2001 at 10:52 PM Rating: Default
He's level 55, every time. We killed him twice tonight, with two groups of 53+.

No, he's indifferent to all, he won't agro until you initiate an attack.

By the way, he is NOT an iksar, he just happens to look like one (OK, for some people that's the same thing, but he is not on any iksar faction).
#Anonymous, Posted: Aug 15 2001 at 11:37 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) hes an epic mob that kicked a bunch of lvl 60's asses
That's an Iksar If I seed one.
# Aug 06 2001 at 10:00 PM Rating: Default
He does look like an Iksar. I've been walking around Cabilis for the last month and that is the model for an Iksar monk. Just glad I don't hafta kill him :-P

Yes, he LOOKS like an iksar (at least after you challenge him and he quits looking like an imp). He is not one though, ah forget it. Fine, call him an iksar if it makes you feel better, just because he sometimes fights in the form of one. There's evil eyes in Beholder's Maze that look like humans, you can say they're human too, if you like.

Eejag isn't an iksar, true. However, the evil eyes looked like humans because your eq files are corrupt, hi.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jul 22 2001 at 12:05 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Do you just fight Eejag and you get the monk epic then that is so easy. Or do you have to do other things before yoy fight him.
RE: Eejag?
# Aug 14 2001 at 7:46 PM Rating: Default
He's just one mob on the list of mobs that Monks need to kill for their epic. Eejag, Gwan, Trunt, Deep, Vorash, and Xenovorash are the final mobs that monks need to kill to complete their epic. Not to mention doing all the sash and headband quests, plus the robe of the lost circle, then the robe of the whistling fists. Still, in comparison to some classes epics (i.e. clerics) the monk epic is relatively easy.

Techically, no, but when you turn in Trunt's head, Deep and Vorash are both hoing to attack you. I suggest you don't just sit there ignoring Deep... you want her dead before Vorash, else you're dealing with Xenevorash and Deep at once. You can ignore her if you like, but she's not going to ignore you just because you don't really have to kill her. You don't want any distractions while you're trying to fight the finaly mob in the epic!
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 17 2001 at 10:59 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Um...cleric epic is one of the easiest. I've done plenty of research on it. There's only about 4 or 5 mobs you have to kill for the cleric epic that need more than one full group, and mosta them need only 2 or 3 groups. As far as I understand, ragefire is the hardest part...hehe being a Naggy clone and everything. =P
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 01 2001 at 7:52 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) WHO CARES!!!!! THIS IS BOUT Eejag, AND IF ANY EPIC MONK EPIC!!!
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 23 2001 at 2:21 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) in comparison to clerics? try mages! REALLY freakin long. monks dont have to do half what it takes for magicians
RE: Eejag?
# Oct 29 2002 at 4:10 PM Rating: Excellent
Riiight. The Monk Epic starts at level 1, with the headband and sash quests. THEN you have to camp Raster (the 200+hr "bane of monk existence" camp), and Targin (the "unsoloable due to the area which he rarely spawns at"). THEN you have to try and track down Brother Qwinn, and hope that Brother Zephyl is up, and catch him in the one spot where he isn't running faster than a bard's travel song. THEN you have to camp two more rare mobs in Chardok and KC. THEN you have to get someone to CHARM Brother Balatin so you can do the turn in. THEN you do the epic battles, go randomly killing mobs in Skyfire, and run all over the place doing turn ins... But you're right, the Monk Epic isn't long. It's only taken me 51 levels to complete most of it...pssh.

#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 15 2001 at 3:35 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) justed watched my bro he makes a cool niose but he's real hard to kill he summons you deep under the lava and he doesn't move so i don't know what you can do to kill this thing . I heard it is an iksar but i don't think so ...
RE: Eejag
# Jun 20 2001 at 8:50 AM Rating: Default
umm yeah he is an iskar and is possible to beat and a pain in the back side to target specially since he can move in the lava a bit but once he is fightin he doesn't seem to want to move. killed him today and got the scale and he hits for like 150hp on averages and bein monk he hits uber fast and then he kicks. and think about it all monks are iskar or human so he would have to be one or the other.
#Anonymous, Posted: Aug 02 2001 at 1:53 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The class/race rules in this game offten do not apply to NPCs. EX, The Royal Guard in Crushbone casts shaman spells and backstabs as well as bashes.
RE: Eejag
# Nov 17 2001 at 4:33 PM Rating: Default
The Royal Guard in Crushbone is a rogue, never casts shamans spells. He is equipped with bash as an orc racial skill. The shamman spells come from the oracles in the Throne room and the Tower.

Yep, NPC privilege. No player can be a iksar rogue, but many of the iksar bandits do in fact have rogue skilks. You'll notice Kerosh Blackhand does a lot of backstabbing if you're foolish enough to show him your vack.
To spawn Eejag
# Jun 07 2001 at 8:06 AM Rating: Good
To spawn this guy for the monk epic. Track "a fire sprite" who spawns at the druid rind and travels the zone. There are more than 1, so I just found em all. You can't Hail him, but if you say "I challenge Eejag." the sprite despawns and Eejag shouts across the zone. hope this helps.
