My guild - FoH - had a raid on this big guy and lost more than half our men, but we took him down, I won roll on one thing, pretty lucky. G-luck all!

Aye all dragon raids take planning, several groups, and paying attention to details and yes all loot is determed by the leader of the raid. What he/she says goes. Theres no playing around when its game time. :)
As far as I can tell, although most of the big NToV dragons are on the KOS-to-all Guardians of veeshan faction, you do ALSO lose Claws of Veeshan faction when you kill them.
