I took this guy out with my 34th Necro with ease,several times,he seems to drop only 2-3 items at a time,totally random drops also,1st i killed him he dropped the Soiled Evokers Robe and some stein that i didnt really pay attention to cause it was no drop and i couldnt use it,that was the only time he dropped the robe out of the few times i killed him.Hope this helps some.

Ok, us lowbies in our guild have been looking at taking this sucker out. Thing is, just how much firepower we need? Here's what we're looking at so far, many will most likely gain levels before we do this, and most likely not all will show, but how much of these guys will we need:

My guild had a lowbie raid in the warrens once, we dropped the muglwump with no problems. We had:
18 ranger
19 enchanter
17 enchanter
22 warrior
16 druid
19 druid
25 cleric
24 bard (who did almost nothing the whole time)
20 pally
This guy was no problem with these people, we could have had less and probably still made it out on top.

Well, apparently they CAN see invis, because I sneaked in while invisible and they killed me anyway. I deleveled to 18, and I'm not sure how to get my corpse.
I camped this room for over an hour and a half, and not once did the Muglwump spawn. What's the trick to making him appear?

Does the Muglwump or anything around him see invis? I need to get my corpse but I don't want to die again.

Tried to pl my friends sk off this hits for freakin 70s so i decide to take it out....IT WENT ON A RAMPAGE!! and I blasted for 762 and still not dead. VERY BAD MISCON BE CAREFUL

This guy killed my lvl33 bard, who was fighting FG's in Great Divide and figured I'd go explore the new zones.. hit for 66-70'ish, resisted fear a helluva lot more than most mobs (Though that's a lot thanks to Verant BS); resisted chains a lot as well (Same thing as before)..had him at about 1/4th health when he finally killed me..damn thing hit me all the way across the zone somehow

Funny, i took him out with my 33 bard. The key to fighting him with a bard is to charm him and let him get beat up on other mobs in the surrounding area. After he's to about 1/3 health and he's killed the last agroed mob go and pull him up to the hall that leads down to muglwump. Then you can melee em more than likely if you have a decently fast weapon. I had fast weapons and decently high resist myself. He tries to cast slow a lot but it never took. My MR is about 60ish without any songs going. Hope this technique helps someone because I have been very sucessful with it.

I soloed it at 29 thanks given to channeling, enstill was resisted all the time so i fought close combat... almost die.I think i was lucky because all my inferno shocks did full damage to him.

yes, mugglewump drops the fishing pole and many other unverified loot...
the fishing pole is a nice caster item i have heard..its lore..i think no drop..
anyway, its a 3 17, something like that, and gives stats.
almost got one from a druid who killed it, but got there too late, and body rotted.

Muglewump cons EVEN to my level 25 BAR WAR and guess what my guild had a small group here to camp a FISHING POLE? that is rumoured to drop here apparently its MAG only so we were going to get one for our mage (But is a doof kept dieing so we gave up eheh)

He Cons high blue to a 30 war. Hit me for a max of 66 he debuffs, dots and does DD. The thing nearly killed me. Is red to my 22 duid. Got a nice shield off him was no drop of course "etched Chitin Shield" used by many classes has 2 charges of RUNE I looks weird.
If this overgrown tadpole is level 20-21, why is he still conning blue to my 35 druid?

Im lvl 32 War and i soloed him.. even though he hits hard.. 70 dam and cast spells..
but he dont have to many hp..

ok , i am a lvl 24 mage and me and some of my friends have killed this thing about 4 times now and he is fun to kill but HARD. my name is Xadis Gnomepower and om on the bertoxx server. The thing is, i sthat he WILL resist your spells if you dont debuff him. At 24 i have one and it hits him EVERYTIME and it helps so much. he also hits very hard for a lvl 25 so be carful. He aslo drop a lot of diffrent items MOST no drop. I got a mage only fishing pole that is +3 dex +2sta +3int. i have seen a enchanter lantern drop and a erd Sk only helm drop, also a potion of light healing also droped. In order to kill this beast you haev to get a few people and work as a team or you will die.

Im a 29 mage (trying to hire newbies to get the damn batling eye, im poor i know) and i say, hmm im bored and this is the only blue con ive seen in the whole place...WHAM this guy knocked me flat, totally resisted all my pet's roots and hit for 50-70 a pop...he also casts the drowsy spell, not any others though...i didnt make it to the zone...
