She's a big pushover as long as you have enough magic resist to resist her AoE Silence. A 65 Druid and I duo'd her when I was lvl 62. Druid was able to sit outside the AOE range and run in for heals. Used my Lay Hands when he was silenced. The key is to fight her right on her bind point, which is on the eastern tip of the ToV scar. That way, if she gates, she doesn't go anywhere (just regens a little health). Once she's OOM and below 20 she will run. Couldn't get snare to land, but we finish'd her off before she could aggro the second dragon (Yes, CoV dragons assist her). Had to Exodus to survive the dragon that add'd at the end. Dropped two high level Velious spells and the book... no Talisman this time.

Ran into this one by accident, and almost forgot to con it....good thing cause all the others are ally and this one didn't like me a bit. Was in the valley wandering back and forth and then despawned. You now know all that I do....he he. Flewid the Druid, Terris-Thule.
I just gotta wonder what is with this dragon. Is it a visiting dignitary to the dragon holy place or what? Seems kind of weird the Ring of Scale could spare any dragon since there are only 5 members in it at least in VP...

I thought it was strange that a Ring of Scale dragon was wandering around a Claws of Veeshan area. Lore-wise, RoS and CoV don't get along. (If you can find it, read the history and lore of how RoS was formed and why they fled to Kunark...very fascinating.)
Anyways, I worked my faction up with RoS just to see if this particular dragon gave a quest or at least offered a reason why it was there. Lots of hours were spent AoE'ing trains of yard trash in Mistmoore to finally get me to ally. I then run back to Western Wastes and hail Esorpa...
Esorpa of the Ring says 'You are truly a blight upon the planet. Here you are in this, the most holy of lands, and you DARE speak to me as if you were some sort of equal! We need to wipe the world clean, it is for the children of Veeshan, no others! I do not know what the Claws are thinking, our Mother would not approve of your kind, this much I know.'
... /disappointed
Esorpa didn't respond to any other question or key word... /sigh
i hunt alot in WW and have done so for a long time. When i started Esorpa was almost always there, i know since i avoid her. for some months now tho, i havnt seen her up once. Anyone know if shes still there?
Aye, Vox and Nagi are sitting on their own faction. IE Vox sits on "Lady Vox", Naggy sits on "Lord Nagafin"... I'm unsure on what Von sits on though... "Legion of BBastard Dragons" prehaps (don't ask, just know the lore)...
this dragon is not hard for people of the apropriate level. we did her with 2 groups of level 50 55 people and we owned her. just make sure to pull her (yes pull, do not charge) at her gate point (aka the wyvern caves) and you should be ok, if you are aware of adds, just clear the wyverns around
Never hit me for more than 300 (I wasn't tanking him though). Fairly easily doable with one group. We did him today with 60war, 60ran, 57mon, 60dru, 60enc, 60clr. 60 Enchanter was not able to land slow though. :/ Likely need malo/malosini or maybe just occlusion and tash, shrug.
Has an AoE silence and an AoE mez. If you are unaware, silence stops you from casting spells (you are unable to cast spells). I'm not sure what resists are needed but was hit by cold. I would buff MR, CR, FR in that order.
Like most WW dragons really not that tough for a group of the appropriate levels.

Because halfling male terms has 'a' at the end of the name, just that for translation they go and change dat to an 'o'. We don't know therefore it would be simpler if we refered to it as an 'It'!!! correct me if I am wrong

Must be stunned/feared when at very low hp, because she will summon one-by-one if you wont. Ae silence its either fire or magic based, not so hard to resist either, just need to figure what resist is needed. Having 180+ in both helps alot.
My guild spotted this dragon on the western end of the scar that leads to Veeshan's Temple. Was actually amiable to me, and non-aggro to more'n half our peeps.
How would you like to be strolling through Western Wastes and suddenly turn around to have this guy staring you right in the eye, Then kill you........I would be soooo terrified...Has to be the 2nd scariest MoB ive seen in the game
"I swear hunny, I thought the cop was a prostitute!"
He belongs to the Ring of Scale, the Dragons of Kunark, which is funny because all of his draconian cohorts in the zone belong to Claws of Veeshan do they not?
The Ring of Scale is a splinter group from the Claws of Veeshan. I think the name says it all - Escorpa of the Ring. Maybe if someone has good Ring of Scale faction they could hail him to ask why he's here.
