The lsland Chain/Continent is not on any of the maps anywhere for the lands of Norrath. Dagnor's Cauldron was once open to sea, and what we now of know as the Estate of Unrest had been a Temple of Quellious in the Combine Empire when it was in its prime. It had served as an ambassadorial site to the Kedge, who in turn were cursed by Phinigel Atropos (Lord of Kedge keep) to a state of Undeath and and then the Cauldron sealed. Is it possible this island chain/continent, is where the remnants of the Kedge are located? Perhaps Erudin and the faith of Prexus made its home on Odus for a reason. Is this island chain/continent also the reason why there are docs in the Stonebrunt Mountains?

On a later note, Unrest became cursed when Garnal Rucksaf came and slaughted all of the followers of Quellious in a fit of madness. As a result Quellious in her lament cursed the dwarf and his companions that they would never know peace. To this day their souls linger, haunting that dreary estate and any who come upon it.

#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 06 2002 at 9:45 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Mayong Mistmoore Is A Twisted Version Of Tsaph Katta, Former Ruler Of The Once Great And "All-Mighty" Combine Empire That Dominated The World For About Maybe Two Score Or So Years. The Event That Led To The Decline Of The Combine Empire Was When A Veiled Man, Who Goes By The Name "Seru" Dampened One Of His Gloves With Emplomine, A Slow Killing, Hallucination Inducing Drug. When Rile Was Killed Many Thought That Trakanon And Seven Other Dragons Nearly Decimated The ENTIRE Sebilisian Navy Within Three Waves Of Attack, But It Was Believed That A Traitor To The Sebilisian Empire, And Riles Heir, Atrebe, Leaked The Information To BOTH The Dragons AND Caerthiel Alike, (Remember, Sebilis Was Attacking The Empire Of Caerthiel And Trakanon Wanted To Delve Deep Into The Affairs Of The Sebilisian Empire) Thus Leading To Rile Being Murdered And The War Of Scale Taking Place. Many Who Knew This Pondered Why Mayong Would Have Such Hatred Towards Sebilis In The First Place? It Was Reavealed In Later Years That Sebilis Had Indeed Been Allied With The New Combine Empire Upon Luclin, The Ringed Moon. Seru Was The Leader Of The Re-Born Combine. Seru Was Tsaph's Murderer. See The Connection Now? But The Mystery Of Tsaph Turning Into A Demented And Blood-Lusting Vampire Is Not Yet Known Even To Me, And Also The First Recorded Appearance Of Mayong In History Involved The Dragons, Mayong Mistmoore Was Hired By The Wurmqueen Herself To Put The Kerafyrm To Sleep, Thus Naming The Sleeper. Thats How All This Lore Connects Together, And Some How It All Leads Back To Either The Empire Of Caerthiel Or The Ring Of Scale On Flipped Side Of The Affairs Of Which I Have Recorded, My Diary Delves Much, Much Deeper Into The Affairs, Which I Have Cut Out Here. My Diary Is VERY Long And I Wish I Could Have The Time To Read It All Here, Cheers, Fellow Norrathians!!!

The Tome Of The Elder Ages To The Present
Scrolled By: Canio, A Dark Elven Knight Of Innoruuk

Entry One: The First Civilized Races
The Claws of Veeshan

In the beginning of the Age of Scale Veeshan deposited her first brood upon Vellious. Included in their midst were Trakanon, Jaled Dar, Zlandicar, and Lord Yelinak. The dragons of the first brood bound themselves together and built what is now known as the Claws of Veeshan under rule of Lord Yelinak. Upon the edges of where Veeshan struck her claw and forged the Cobalt Scar, was where her brood built the pristine halls of the City of Skyshrine. Within the Western Wastes lies the Temple of the Wurmqueen, and where new hatchlings are born into the world for the first time.

At some point in time unknown in the annals of history, the giants of what was Kael Drakkal rose up and launched an assault upon the city of Skyshrine nearly decimating it. In that battle Lord Yelinak's bride was struck with mortal wounds, and their battle against the giants was born.

The Destroyer of Worlds

Two dragons of a different color had mated and produced a paradox amidst dragons. The Sleeper was born. The Sleeper's powers were so great that it was said to be able to challenge the might of Veeshan herself. Many became concerned for if the Veeshan held within her the power of creation, then surely the Sleeper could undo it. This incited a new war that pitted dragon against dragon.

After the end of a long grueling and bloody war that was costly to both sides, the Sleeper was imprisoned within the Eastern Wastes. A large Tomb was erected and warded with the most powerful and ancient of magics. Four of the great wurm's gave their lives and became warders of the Kerafyrm who lays within an eternal slumber. A prophecy begun, and the legend of the Sleeper was born.

From this war two rules became law cast out by Lord Yelinak, upon all those of the Claws of Veeshan. Dragons shall never fight dragon, and no dragons of any two different color shall ever mate.

Many dragons from the tanks of the Claws were not in agreement that dragon should not fight dragon. Jaled Dar rose up within their midst and spread his wings, the Ring of Scale was born. They deposited themselves amidst the lands of Kunark where they built their lair in Veeshan's Peak. Trakanon was counted among their number, having traveled with them to these new lands. Unlike the Claws of Veeshan who did not interfere with the likes of others, the Ring of Scale had no such qualms about being involved in the affairs of the Elder Races.

The dragon that had been known of as Zlandicar was cast out by Lord Yelinak in his own time from the Claws of Veeshan, after attaining a taste for the flesh of his dead brothers. A cannibal dragon. He made his new lair within the Dragon Necropolis. To this day he rests there, feasting upon the bones of dead dragons.

Birth of the Sebilisian Empire

A young and powerful warrior-mage of the Kunzar tribe rises to train the Kunzar to unbelievable levels of combat prowess. Coded in the ancient book of Rallos Zek, and deciphered by Venril, advanced war techniques are implemented, and armies of dead are animated and bent to his will. His Kunzar armies march North and West with unyielding fury.

The War of Joining. Sathir’s troops conquer and annex the remaining four Iksar tribe-states, Kylong, Nathsar, Obulus, and Jarsath. Venril Sathir becomes the first King of the new Iksar Empire Sebilis and heralds in an era of magnificent empire building. The old Kunzar city of Sebilis becomes the new imperial capital and Innoruuk is the deity of the state.

First Slaves’ War. Sathir’s troops crush and enslave the hill giants, forest giants and Froglok in a sweeping campaign of carnage. He orders the construction of naval shipyards at Viesar and Danak. Newly acquired giant and Froglok slaves are put to work, erecting powerful monuments and cites in the name of the Sebilisian Empire.

Trade begins with other continents. Sathir’s navy is immune to piracy because of its potency. He also uses the same to plunder the hapless vessels of other nations when he pleases. The cities of Charasis, Torsis (The City of Mist), and Sebilis grow in might, power, and grandeur. Venril Sathir gains the enmity of Mayong Mistmoore for the disappearance of Dencarja the rightful guild mistress of the Ebon Masks and the Imperatrix Zhelebati of Caerthiel.

An aging Venril Sathir seeks to cheat death, and makes an unholy pact with Innoruuk. The weak and sick of the Empire are routinely sacrificed to swell Innoruuk’s Cauldron of Souls. Sathir is given the knowledge of lichdom, and prepares an amulet into which he siphons his soul. It is to be placed in his corpse upon his own suicide, and after dark rites performed by loyal initiates, Sathir hopes to rise again as an immortal undead king. However, his first son Rile, heir apparent to the throne, learns of his father’s plans and interrupts the ritual, rendering it a failure. The priests rescue the amulet and speed it away. Rile destroys Sathir’s body and assumes the throne. The amulet is hidden in the crypts of Charasis, where a new dark cult forms dedicated to reviving Venril’s soul once again. The cult is named the Arisen.

The Rule of Rile Sathir

Rile continues the same egomaniacal empire building strategy that his father began. He leads a vast army against the mountain giants at Konikor, seizing the most productive mine on the continent in the Battle of Konikor. The mountain giants are enslaved and forced East to erect monuments of power for the Sebilisian Empire.

Rile orders the construction of a tower stronghold in the North Wood (now Warslik’s Wood). He assigns his trusted general Karatukus to oversee its construction and to be its lord. Karatukus settles into his duty with fervor, slaughtering and torturing all who would oppose the Empire. This hated warlord swells the ranks of slaves in the East with fresh bodies monthly as he butchers and enslaves giant after giant.

Kurn's Tower is established upon the field of bone. Kurn Machta presides and his ruthlessness spreads swiftly amidst the populace.

Rile orders the construction of a southern stronghold similar to Kurn’s Tower. The stronghold is named The Karnor, and is overseen by the vampire Iksar named Chosooth (What is the connection between Chosooth and Mistmoore?). Rile is pleased. Most of the continent definitely belongs to Sebilis. Only the dragons and pockets of mountain and forest giant resistance remain unconquered.

The Ring of Scale meets in secret, and the dragon lords argue about the impending Iksar threat. Trakanon advocates powerful direct and immediate intervention on behalf of all the races against the Iksar. He is denounced by Jaled-Dar, leader of the Ring. Trakanon does not give up, and slowly gains support among the younger dragonkind. The Ring of Scale rules to intervene against the Iksar only indirectly.

Rile sets out to attack the Teir'Dal Empire of Caerthiel on Faydwer, taking great naval vessels to the north. His campaigns are successful and he is able to plunder at will.

A great squall arises at sea and shatters the Sebilisian navy. The king’s own warship, Fetid Plank, is lost with all hands. News of Rile’s demise brings great mourning in the Empire by the Iksar. His first son Atrebe assumes the imperial throne. The dragon Trakanon is rumored to have been behind this alleged ‘squall’ at sea, and it was indeed he and his dragon allies who sank the armada. The Ring of Scale is outraged and Jaled-Dar orders the punishment of the dragons involved.
It Is Not Yet Known How So Few A Dragon Could Destroy Nearly 40-score warships. Was The Empire Of Caerthiel involved in the attack? Was It The Demented Leader Of Caerthiel(Mayong Mistmoore) Who helped the dragons out the hate of Sebilis? It was obvious that Mayong Was Tsaph Katta, Leader Of The Combine,Was He Taking out his vengeance in the hate of one of Sebilis's secret allies (Seru, The Murderer Of Tsaph And Lich-Lord Of The New Combine Empire?)

The Insurrection of the Younger begins, a civil war of the dragonkind which stemmed from the destruction of Rile Sathir and his fleet of warships. The younger dragons face the elder in a contest of wills, magic, and might. Every so often a great clash can be seen from the sky, from which flaming shredded massive corpses rain down upon the mountains with the crash of thunder. Trakanon becomes mortally wounded and makes a pact with the Plaguebringer cheating death. He is transformed from a dragon of sky, becoming the second plague dragon. Lady Vox and Lord Nagafen are cast out from the Ring for all time, after attempting to make a second Kerafyrm. It is a dark time for the children of Veeshan.

Rule of Atrebe Sathir

Atrebe delves heavily into the elder magic of the Shissar and of his grandfather. He is reclusive and mysterious, and all fear him. He uses his dark powers to conduct foul experiments in his mountain workshop of Kor-sha, the Temple of Droga.

Atrebe successfully magically melds a captured dragon with an Iksar, creating a new and horrid race of intelligent dragon-men which he names the Sarnak. He breeds them quickly and secretly, bending and training them to his maniacal will.

Atrebe successfully magically melds a dragon with a Froglok, creating a new avian mount for his armies. Fiercely loyal and deadly in the attack, Atrebe breeds them in earnest. He names this new monstrosity the Sokokar.

Atrebe’s newly trained air force descends upon the remaining giant strongholds in a massive campaign of conquest lasting just a year. In the end, the Iksar are victorious, conquering mines and cities and enslaving the last of the mighty giants. Now only the dragonkind stand unconquered by the mighty Sebilisian Empire.

Atrebe perishes in one of his own foul rituals gone bad. His workshop and most of the mountain that contained it is destroyed in a blast of black-green fire. His third son and lead general, Ganak, acts quickly to assassinate his brothers and rises undisputed to the throne of Sebilis.

The Last Rule of House Sathir

Climatic changes from a shower of meteors begin to reshape parts of the continent. Earthquakes occur more often than ever. Winds increase in the lands north of the Great Swamp, and the land becomes more and more barren and desert-like. Land rises on the south side of the Bay of the Moon, and the south entrance to the sea is narrowed. Viesar and Danak suffer great earthquake damage as well.

A fifty-four year war erupts between the dragonkind and the Iksar, when Atrebe attacks the Ring of Scale with all the might of his airforce. His first victories are decisive, but he awakens a sleeping fury in the dragonkind, and many an Iksar town and city are laid waste by powerful dragon fire and elder magic. In the end, Ganak clashes in the sky above the Field of Bone with Jaled-Dar, leader of the Ring of Scale. In a mighty clash, they are both incinerated by magic and fire and explode into flaming chunks which rain down upon the land. The war is inconclusive, but the Ring of Scale is smashed and broken, and the dragons retreat from their relentless hunters. Jaled-Dar‘s remains are taken to the Dragon Necropolis of Vellious. His shade which resides there to this day watches in extreme horror as the cannibal Zlandicar feasts upon his remains, driving the spectral visage of Jaled-Dar to depths of madness and despair. Jaled-Dar blames Trakanon for this end along with the many other dragons, and seeks to dupe adventurers into awakening the Sleeper, thus ending the world.

In a final blaze of revenge, a horde of dragons attacks the imperial palace by night, destroying it completely . Only a handful of dragons escape with their lives, however, and they vow to return one day when the empire is weak. With no heir to the throne the Iksar nobles create the Emerald Circle, which will rule in the stead of a king.

The Emerald Circle

The Emerald Circle of nobles rules the Empire with total authority. Cities are enhanced and trade is expanded. The navy is rebuilt and prosperity returns to the empire. The Iksar join the Combine Empire, which vanishes almost as soon as it appears.

Arguments over land and influence escalate to a fervorish pitch within the Emerald Circle. With no enemies left to vanquish, the Iksar nobles turn on each other, and the Empire is split asunder into five great states, each based upon the ancient tribal divisions of the Iksar themselves.

Over two hundred years of civil war wrack the continent, as noble families and merchant houses wage war after war against their neighbors, each seeking to gain the upper hand and claim the title of emperor. The Ring of Scale has its agents meddle in every alliance and affair, always pitting the lords against one another.

Great earthquakes once again rock the continent as meteors strike Kunark again for the second time. Viesar drops into the Lake of the Moon and is lost utterly. Danak is slit asunder and half of it slides into the sea. The naval forces and merchant vessels of the states are destroyed in one day as massive tidal waves wash over ports and vessels alike. Cities are rocked by the quakes and commerce is disrupted. Starvation and want begin to spread across the empire. The End Days had begun.

The Iksar try desperately to rebuild, but starving Froglok and giant slaves begin to revolt. The Frogloks flee Kunark entirely and deposit themselves upon Tunaria, building the City of Guk. The Iksar are unorganized and desperately struggle to keep their minions in line. A Sledge merchant brings a wealthy haul of items to the Arisen. They discover one of the items is the pendant of Rile found in the north sea. The Arisen believe if they can find the bones of Rile, they may be able to resurrect Sathir using the amulet. Their plans never come to fruition, however.

All the slave races of the Iksar are in full revolt. Even the Sarnak turn against their masters. Cities burn and war is waged across the continent.

Goblin lords in Faydwer hear of the calamities and begin shipping invading troops to Kunark to pillage the land. Kurn’s Tower is smashed and broken by an army of giants led by the massive mountain giant Warslik. The Karnor is sacked by forest and hill giant forces. The cities of the Iksar are assaulted and burned. The Iksar flee in terror to the forests and jungles where they are hunted down like dogs.

Trakanon and his forces descend upon the weeping cities of the Iksar and reduce them to ash and ruins. Clouds of poison float through the streets of city after city, slaying any remaining Iksar. They breath fire upon the West Wood (now the Burning Wood) and set it ablaze, covering most of the continent with the haze of smoke which dims the sun for the better part of the year. Crops fail across the land and starvation kills more than the wars ever did. After a year of dragon devastation, it is clear that the Sibilisian Empire is no more.

The bones of the Iksar and other slain creatures are gathered and spread across the Field of Bone by Trakanon and his followers as a permanent warning to any who would seek to fill the shoes of the Iksar. The Ring of Scale reforms about Jaled-Dar’s daughter Phara-Dar. They demand an end to the destruction lest the continent itself be ripped apart. Trakanon refuses to rest until death and vows to stand watch over the Iksar that if ever they should rise again, he would be there to smash them down. He takes of residence in the council chambers of Sebilis and remains there still to this day. His young followers rejoin their brethren in the Ring of Scale lest they be banished again or slain outright.

Return of Venril Sathir

Over the next 500 years, the other races begin to build new cities and cultures and intercontinental trade begins once again. The goblins dig in the northwest, multiplying and raiding the giants and remaining Iksar. They establish mines and armies, claiming the land for themselves. The giants return to bickering among themselves, with alliances constantly shifting so as to keep the balance of power between them. The Froglok return to their home in the Great Swamp, to their city of Krup. The Sokokar forget their training and domestication, and become the foremost hunters of the Iksar in the Emerald Jungle. The dragons retreat to secrecy and seclusion, to once again pull the invisible strings of fate from afar. The Sarnak hide in Trakanon’s Teeth, and begin to slowly and secretly build cities and mines, and to train for the day when they would take the place of the Iksar as masters of the continent. Smashed and broken, the remaining Iksar fall back into a tribal existence, scraping out a life of hardship and torment in the Emerald Jungle and the forests.

A sledge explorer searches the ancient wreckage of the fleet which sank at sea under the leadership of Rile long ago. He discovers the corpse of Rile draped in jewelry and takes it whole as a trophy.

The corpse of Rile is sold to a goblin king, Kaboktok, who places it in his throne room for all to see. He claims it was his goblin ancestor who slew Emperor Rile at sea.

The mountain giant king, Farslik, descendant of Warslik, descends upon a rich goblin city. The mountain giants, with the aid of frost giants, capture the city-mine. Farslik takes the bones of Rile as a souvenir.

For the first time, the Sarnak venture out into the ruins of the Iksar cities. Few return, but those who do possess priceless scrolls dealing in dark rituals and forbidden magic. The Sarnak begin to explore dark magic themselves, finding they have an uncanny knack for its use.

The goblins mount an all out offensive on Konikor, sacking it for all its worth. Part of the bounty are the bones of Rile, which are sold to an Iksar merchant who then travels east. The mountain giants retake Konikor that same year.

The merchant (whose name is Vlistis) sells the bones of Rile to the descendents of the Cult of the Arisen. They take the bones to Charasis and begin to search for the Amulet of Sathir in the wreckage, hoping that by bringing the soul of the father into the body of the son that they may perhaps bring back the first king of Sebilis.

Fifty years of searching finally reveals the Amulet and dark rites are performed upon it and the bones of Rile. Nothing happens and the cult members believe they have failed utterly. They leave the bones of Rile on an altar beneath the ruins of Charasis.

The Sarnak, hungry for more dark knowledge, journey into Charasis to loot its ancient tombs. A priest in the group find the scrolls the cult was using and in the presence of the bones of Rile unwittingly completes the ritual. Venril Sathir is sucked from his place of torment and after 5678 years is joined to the body of his backstabbing son. He rises from his bed-like altar and slays all the Sarnak. One of the Sarnak is spared, one that will loyally do his every bidding.

For one hundred years, Venril Sathir travels among the ruined cities of the Iksar, collecting what remnants of power he can, and building about him an army of the dead. He travels west and seduces goblin and giants lords alike with promises of immortality and untold power.

Venril establishes himself in the Dreadlands and begins to rebuild the shattered ruins of the Karnor. His minions raid caravans for weapons and supplies, and he begins to build expeditionary forces. He magically perverts some of the mortals to make a legion of lycanthropes, led by Thuuga, a wizard Iksar serpent changer.

The giants meet in the council and decide to unite against an unknown enemy in Karnor, whose horrid legions are pillaging their cities and caravans. The goblins are asked to join to stomp out this new presence in the Dreadlands, and agree to do so for a price. They would receive Konikor, the richest mine in the world as their own. The giants agree and an assault is planned. The dragons are the ones to leak information to both sides that this threat in the Dreadlands must be stopped, fearing themselves that this unseen force may be an Iksar wizard of reborn power. The dragons also convince Thuuga that Sathir believes the lycanthropes are expendable and untrustworthy, and that he will eliminate them soon. Thuuga secretly joins the Alliance of the Stone against the undead.

The Alliance of Stone (giants and goblins) descend unwittingly upon the Karnor. Venril is alerted to the attack before it occurs, however, by an agent of the Ring of Scale. The battle lasts for an entire year, and in the end, Sathir’s forces are crushed and driven back, most decisively by the betrayal of his lycanthrope troops. He takes refuge in the Bile, at an outpost he names Varis.

Agents of the dragon council convince the goblins that the giants have no intention of giving up Konikor (which was untrue). They council the goblins to sneak attack and take it by force while it is weak. At the same time, agents of the council advise the giants that the goblins intent to take Konikor in battle and other mines as well. The dragons’ plans work, and war ensues.

A thirty year war is fought between the giants and the goblins, called the War of Lies (in that each side believes the other to be liars). It ends in a stalemate, with very heavy casualties on all sides. The giants retain control of Konikor.

The Sarnak establish outposts in the Frontier Mountains and being to capture Sokokar young and train them as battle attack dogs.

One of the members of the Ring of Scale disappears over Trakanon’s Teeth. Trakanon is implicated, however no evidence can be found. In fact, it was the Sarnak testing their prowess in combat against their dragon ancestors.

The Sarnak invade and conquer two small goblin mines in the Frontier Mountains. The giants take once again to squabbling amongst themselves. The Sarnak begin to breed Goblin and Froglok slaves.

The first landing by elves is made at the ruins of a Combine Port that is now known as the Firiona Vie Outpost. The elves are slain within the year by Froglok raids. Venril Sathir relocates back to the Karnor and begins to rebuild once more, only more quietly. He rousts the lycanthropes from Karnor into the wilds of the Dreadlands. He begins to animate an army of the dead once again.

Outpost of Firiona Vie

Again, elves land at the Combine Port. This time they are able to resist the Frogloks. However, the swamp and hill giants see them as a threat and descend upon Firiona Vie in force. All the elves are slain save for a few who escape back to the sea. Sathir re-establishes his outpost at Varis as a lookout to the East. He sends his best lieutenant, Xalgoz, (the spared Sarnak) to the lost city of Kaesora in the Field of Bone.

The elves land once again upon the port in force. A fort is erected and the giants are too busy squabbling amongst themselves to notice. The Froglok raid continually, but are unable to breach the elves’ defenses. The Firiona Vie Outpost is born.

Adventurers, mercenaries and frontiersmen arrive at Firiona Vie. They are elven, human, and dwarven. The growing town is fortified further and begins trade with a more peaceful hill giant tribe in the Dreadlands. The lycanthropes form an uneasy alliance with the hill giants of the region to suppress the rapidly growing power of Venril Sathir at Karnor. Sathir sends an agent that appears to the Sarnak as one of their own and within one year is elected to the king’s council. There he begins to subvert the Sarnak to his own designs, convincing them to eliminate the Ring of Scale altogether. The dragons’ agent in the council mysteriously vanishes one night, never to be seen again! (assassinated by Sathir’s agent Korucust).

The Current Empire

Emperor Vekin is the current Emperor in power over the Iksar nation, which makes its home in what remains of the city of Cabalis. Vekin and his legion are aware of the return of the lich Emperor, Sathir. They vehemently oppose Venril Sathir and also are enemies of the Teir'Dal who occupy the ruins, turned Outpost of Overthere. This is the last of my notes concerning Sebilis and the rest of the affairs of Kunark

Entry Two: The Coming War Of The Gods

Origins

It seems all things in Norrath ultimately seem to point back to this ancient Prophecy of Trakanon had spoken to Edril the Lancer. I do not believe that which has been fortold is the truth to the prophecy, only one elf's perception from events. The gods have been known to make allies and pacts amidst themselves. I believe Trakanon saw the end of the world long ago. His prophecy I believe was carried by the Teir'Dal of the ancient empire of Caerthiel.

The meaning of the ancient Teir'Dal symbol of Caerthiel is as follows. The symbol directly in the center is Veeshan. The head of a serpent with the wings of a dragon. The symbol directly left is of Tunare, nine dots that emulate the standing stones seen throughout Norrath. The symbol in the center above that of Veeshan is the symbol of Brell, denoted by the candelabra which is often depicted worn by Brell. The symbol directly to the right of Veeshan is that of Prexus, three lines to denote the waves of the Oceanlord. Surrounding the four symbols is a great circle which depicts the veil erected by the three in their pact to keep the Wurmqueen in check.

The four on the outside from left to right are as follows: Lower left hand corner is Rallos Zek, upper left is Innoruuk, upper right is Cazic Thule, and the lower right is Bertoxxulous...the four horsemen to bring about the end.

The Four Horsemen

There will be four Horsemen to bring about the final days of armageddon, the second war of the gods. First shall ride hate to bring the night. Then shall fear ride to cast its cloak of horror upon the lands. Plague and decay will ride thrice to spread its seed across the lands. The three shall give way to the fourth, and War will embrace the world in an icy wave of doom. The four horsemen shall ride and take their place in what will bring about the final battle for Norrath.

Innoruuk who showed his hand at the Battle of Bloody Kithicor. Cazic Thule when he corrupted the Lesser Faydark and the last unicorn, Equestrielle at the attempted summoning of Tunare's avatar. The three fold plague of Bertoxxulous upon the Karana Plains. Rallos Zek who sits locked within his Plane of Power, awaiting freedom that he might wreak vengeance for his imprisonment at the last war of the gods. It is said even now in the lower planes where dwells the four can be seen evidence of emissaries and fiends from the realms of all four dark gods gathering their minions for the final hour. Such is at least spoken of within the Plane of Hate where reportedly is now also found a statue of Lanys T’Vyl.

It Will Be The Four Horseman Of Trakanon Against The Four Lords Of Darkness To Carry Out The Fate Of Norrath, The Dark Alliance, (Cazic-Thule,Innoruuk,Bertoxxulius, And Rallos-Zek) Fighting The Pact Of Aegis,(Mithaniel Marr, Prexus, Tunare, And Brell Serelis) Then Lanys Would Awaken the Sleeper.

Lanys T'Vyl and the Sleeper

When this happens, Lanys T'Vyl the former child of hate claimed turned to goddess of Envy will likewise seek her vengeance upon her enemies. She will awaken the Kerafyrm that lays docile beneath the eastern wastes of Vellious within the Sleepers Tomb. The Lifeguide which currently lays within the hands of Danak will be used to return the once child of hate to Norrath, in a new body. This not too unlike the event that transpired prior after the battle of Bloody Kithicor within the Steamfront Mountains.

Luclin, the Ringed Moon

This momentous event will transpire during the coming of the second moon of blood. "The Veil" which has slowly been waning will finally be brought down and there shall be an eclipse of the sun as Luclin passes between the two, and great darkness shall be cast upon the world of Norrath. Luclin is the second of Norrath’s moons. It lies concealed behind The Veil, only to be seen by those who dare tread upon the Plane of Sky.

The Dragon Pendant

Each held by one of Trakanons Heroes, each scattered across Norrath. There is the Dragon Pendant of Edril the Lancer, the unknown gift of magic from Miragul, and the burning blade of Nalikor. The whereabouts as of this writing of the Pendant of Edril the Lancer seem yet unknown. There is but one thing that seems of note.

Edril the Lancer was said to have been buried within the depths of Lake Elizerain whose body lay in depths therein. The lake bordering upon the Steamfront Mountains of Faydwer. I came across a gnome by name of Grynnaf Einoom. Speaking with Grynnaf he fortold me of a dragonslayer whose known as Nortlav the Scalekeeper that could slay dragons with even the rustiest of weapons. He told to me that this scalekeeper of sorts was said to be lost somewhere surrounded by darkness.

Following my good senses I continued my search. I found this Nortlav deep within the Hole. Why was Nortlav the Scalekeeper in the hole? What was he doing so far from home? There has only been one other that was known for the power to slay such was none other then Edril the Lancer. It makes me wonder. Does Nortlav the Scalekeeper hold the pendant of Edril the Lancer?

If he is slaying dragons so easily as Edril then he must have of it or once had of it within his possession at the time he fought so many of Veeshan's children. Nortlav himself is an Erudite of an unknown profession. It is not proven but believed that he may be allied to the dragon Trakanon. There may also be some connection as the wife of Edril's late wife Almaril was also an Erudite. It is also known that Nortlav the Scalekeeper carries a tome of unknown origins within his possession; the Book of Shadows.

Miragul's Gift of Magic

The gift given to Miragul remains yet to be known. As I have been able to discern of Miragul he was but a mage from the city of Erudin. He managed to garner an unknown artifact from Trakanon to which he used it to master all forms of magic. Of which his most noteworthy school had been the dark arts of Necromancy in an attempt to cheat death. The elder mage turned Necromancer attempted a dark rite and traveled the dark roads of lichdom. His experiments met with both failure and success.

While his soul lays in torment within his Phylactery held by the Oracle of K'Arnon for unknown reasons; his ever slowly decaying body rages in mad torments within the caverns under Everfrost. Each day of damnation, walking the abysmal depths of his lab...over and over again. It is unknown what the gift in and of itself may have been or what became of it.

When the wall of living stone was opened in old Paineel Dartain of the Dark Truth was set free once more. A prophet of a sort of the Plaguebringer and a once former disciple of the teachings of Miragul, the father of the heretics. It was said for some time that Dartain carried a strange tome of Miragul's within his possession whilst he lay within the murky depths of old Paineel. Does or did those tome have some sort of connection with the Trakanon's artifact given to Miragul?

Al'Kabor has long since been a fervent enemy of Dartain. Al'Kabor likewise sought to escape death just as Miragul did. Al'Kabor has been also said to be the singular most powerful wielder of the arts that lives in Norrath to this day, second only to Mayong Mistmoore. Where Miragul failed in his experiments to cheat death, Al'Kabor continues his research without end. Is the source of Al'Kabor’s power the artifact Trakanon gave to Miragul?

The Burning Blade of Nalikor

In the final days of Aradune Mithara was a grand play. A coveted battle of sorts between a number of the gods. It was here the ranger born of Surefall Glade served well to the Qeynos standard, and fell in that final hour to be raised up upon the plains of his god as an avatar ascendant.

In that time there were four holy swords, each sacred to the holy knights that travel Norrath we better know as the paladin. The first was a sword known as Ghoulbane, found within the Shin Lord of Guk. There is now a quest regarding a high elf that once carried the blade; whose pieces have been scattered throughout Norrath for unknown reasons.

The second was a blade known as Soulfire, received from besting Pietro Zarn. The shadowknight lord of the Church of the Dismal Rage. When the times of Aradune Mithara passed, the blade had been split up and cast throughout Norrath.
The third blade was the legendary Fiery Avenger, to which Karana placed a modified version to his avatar Aradune Mithara. The sword in the times of Aradune Mithara was said to have been found from amidst the hoard of treasures piled up deep within the lairs of the vile Lord Nagafen. After the times of Aradune Mithara, it was later taken by an Erudite Paladin who carried it with him into the Plane of Sky after failing to dispatch the heretic Miragul.

The fourth and final and most powerful of the three was the sword of Mithaniel Marr himself, Truthbringer. This sword during the times of Aradune Mithara was received for besting Sir Lucan, the fallen Knight of Truth and tyrant of Freeport.

The last time Truthbringer was seen in its final hour was in the hands of Mithaniel Marr who appeared in North Freeport before his Temple. He summoned his followers and they marched into the darkness of the Nektulous Woods where awaited the Prince of Hate and his minions.

En epic battle between the two gods ensued, as their followers battled all around and the woods were soaked with blood and souls being sent into the hereafter. Amidst the shadows the King of Thieves and Master of Trickery watched on; Fizzlethorpe Bristlebane.

Innoruuk carried within his hands Malevolence the Governor of the Wicked. Mithaniel Marr in his hands wielded his blade Truthbringer, which some say was taken from the light of the heavens. Bristlebane sided with Innoruuk and helped to best the God of Valor and then turned upon a weakened Innoruuk to rule the day.

Both weapons of both gods were cast out into the world in that day where the gods battled. Malevolence became cursed by Mithaniel Marr and scattered by the chief priests of the Church of the Firstborn. Truthbringer fell into the hands of Trakanon who kept it within his possession for some time.

With that battle of many gods passed, the time of Aradune Mithara ended and Truthbringer vanished with it. Never to be seen nor heard of ever again. Where once the blade could be found, is now apart of the quest that regains the blade of Ariska Zimel, Soulfire.

Trakanon held the blade for some time. When the Combine Empire settled in Kunark, they brought with them the faith of Mithaniel Marr. The empire had those off all races within its midst, as well only took to the following of the light gods. Nalikor was one such troll that came under the influence of the presence of the Combine Empire and the faith of Mithaniel Marr. Even though the empire was long gone, the seeds of the light remained.

Nalikor, Troll of Marr

Books at one point in time used to be available within Cabalis that spoke of Nalikor and his rising up amidst the Troll clans. There was also a book within the Ocean of Tears found upon the isle where the Ancient Cyclops dwells within the hands of an elven merchant that foretells of the Prophecy of Trakanon. Only a few weeks after Trakanon was met and bested in battle did the books in both places vanish.

Nalikor was said in the prophecy to have been a shaman. But to trolls that did not know what a paladin was, with his powers being asimiliar to that of a shaman...that would be a correct analogy from their mindset with what they knew in and of themselves. Holy swords of power burn with the brightest of flames and only may be wielded by paladins alone. Nalikor was indeed a paladin of the lord of valor (Influenced by the former Combine Empire's faith) and his gift given him by Trakanon was indeed Truthbringer; the sword of Mithaniel Marr.

The Frogloks of Guk

When Nalikor left Kunark for Tunaria (what we now call Antonica) he followed the Frogloks. The Shin Lord and the Froglok King of Guk are both Paladins. They follow none other then Prexus, the Oceanlord.

When the Sebilisian Empire fell to Trakanon and his allies from the Ring of Scale the Frogloks revolted and many departed Kunark making their way for Tunaria. Nalikor followed the Frogloks knowingly and made his way to greet his fellows of the light.

Innoruuk's Wrath

I still remember that day that I stood within the Innothule swamp. I had wondered oft of it and how it had been named. Surely all things have a reason as to why they are named as such. It was then I heard the the croaking sound pierce the air, almost as if to be twisting into squeals. I made my way through the mire to come face to face with a large troll who had the skulls of Frogloks hanging freely from his waist, on a rampage outside the city of the children of Prexus.

He stood over a young Froglok just barely developed from being a tad. Wide eyed he stared up into the monstrous wart covered visage of the troll, whose maw dripped with froth as it bellowed and prepared to swing with its axe. Without stopping to think twice I drew my own blade and charged the beast. The battle did not last long as I felled the troll. I watched as the Froglok youth skittered away nervously into the nearby brush.

It was then I had noticed heads that began to peer out of me from behind trees and shrubbery with bulging white eyes, looking on. I looked down at the troll and back at the many Frogloks and smiled. I watched as they slowly crept their way to me realizing that I was a friend and came in peace. It was then I finally understood what had happened to the people of Nalikor and how the Innothule swamp received its name.
In response to Mithaniel Marr cursing Malevolence after the battle of Nektulous Wood, the Prince of Hate sought his own retribution. Through the priests of the Church of the Firstborn he spoke and Truthbringer became sought that it could meet a fate equal to that of Innoruuk's weapon.

Innoruuk's minions departed and made their way for Grobb with the foresight of the artifact to which they sought, given them by their unholy father. They made their way to Grobb and it is believed a mass battle of sorts occurred. Some say that the Teir'Dal fell allied themselves to the Lizard man descendants of the Shissar from the Lost Temple of Cazic Thule whom had also been at arms at the neighboring ogres.

A massive battle ensued with the united front of the ogres, trolls, and frogloks falling to the dark armies of hate and fear. That battle happened within the swamps outside Grobb which became the Innothule swamp. Named after Innoruuk and Cazic Thule.

The Aftermath

Many of the ogres from that day on began to pay homage to the faith of the Faceless one, Cazic Thule. Many of those true to the following of Rallos Zek within Oggok still despise the Lizard Men of the Lost Temple of Cazic Thule. It is said those that spend enough time within its depths fighting the fearites may gain enough favor with the Guardsmen and Craknek's of Oggok to pass freely within the city, while the ogre shamans who patron the Faceless will have an ever deeper burning hatred.

Nalikor had hoped to escalate the society of the trolls from a tribal level to a more medieval feudal system. He never managed to attain such as it is believed he fell in battle and his remains were buried within a temple located within Grobb. It is said that the last remaining link between Trakanon and the Troll people was buried with Nalikor in the heart of that temple. Was this a key to Old Sebilis or something much greater? The truth of such remains as it is also believed that some of the people of Nalikor retreated after the battle to Broken Skull Rock, while those that had been converted to darkness remained and turned to the evil that is now Grobb.

The Frogloks of Guk likewise suffered. The dark and evil magic of Innoruuk and the Faceless was brought into the heart of the froglok city. It was torn in half and turned into a city of perpetual battles, the light against the dark. This is why the deeper sections of Guk (Lower Guk) are known as the Ruins of Old Guk. It was here that the course of battle ruined their city and the undead now dwell within.

Since the times of Aradune Mithara there has been said to be a quest somewhere yet unfound that the dreaded Undead Froglok Tongues can be taken to that standing be attained. This was before their use for alchemy and research. The quest remains yet unknown.

The Frogloks have also allied themselves with the Erudite followers of Prexus and likewise taken up arms against the Heretics.also many frogloks found wandering Lake Rathe Tear, lead by Prince Kermit. Also of note within Rathe Mountains is Quid Rilstone, a deepwater knight who carries in his possession the Sirens Hair Hood and the Man-O-War. Take note the Frogloks can be found within the sewers under Qeynos along with Bait Masterson, a priest of Prexus and loyal member of the Deepwater Knights of Erudin. Bait also can occasionally be found fishing from the docks of Freeport for an unknown reason.

Vengeance Continues

The Teir'Dal ultimately discovered the location of Truthbringer, sealed away within the crystal field deep within the heart of Broken Skull Rock.

The Irontoe Brigade split up after a failed attempt to siege Castle Crushbone and retrieve the Butcherblock Hammer. Most that survived wound their way to Qeynos to serve Sraag Bloodheart, the lord of the Bloodsabres whom are also allied to King Naythox Thex of Neriak.

The Teir'Dal at some point in time gained possession of the relic through an unknown means, before it ended up cast away in its watery prison within Dagnors Cauldron. It is said that a member of the Irontoe Brigade brandished the weapon for a time. This makes perfect sense considering the alliance between Carson McCabe, Naythox Thex, and the Bloodsabres.

Found upon The Prophet within the midst of Castle Crushbone is a note sent by Artellin D'Nev that fortells of the battle of Broken Skull Rock and how their forces shall meet them at dawn to be ready. The letter was penned in the dark elven tongue.

What is known next is that the Butcherblock Hammer was used by the Teir'Dal and their allies to shatter the crystal field that contained the sword of Mithaniel Marr. The artifact of one god used to free another. What happens to the sword from here is but a mystery. Some say the blade was whisked away to Neriak and taken deep within the vaults of the Church of the Firstborn where a way is sought to see to its ends. Others say that the hobbits who inhabit the Nektulous wood are there as it is a holy site from the final days of Aradune Mithara where their god once walked. They seek to claim Truthbringer from the undark city as a trophy in remembrance to the King of Thieves. Whatever happened to Truthbringer after it was removed from its combines is yet unknown for certain till this very day. The trail goes cold, and a new mystery is born.

The Search for Truthbringer

Since the theft of the blade from Broken Skull Rock, the children that were true to the teachings of Nalikor and the faith of Mithaniel Marr departed their isle in search of the holy sword. They are allied to the Knights of Truth likewise in their search. Plnorrick Spinecracker is found in the Seafarers Roost at the docks in East Freeport. Within High Pass at the Lumber Yard is another Troll of the Broken Skull Clan also.

They seek that which was lost and perhaps also have tracked it to somewhere upon Antonica and follow old clues from the thieves. With the members of The Dark Alliance it is no doubt that the greatest of holy swords lays scattered somewhere about Antonica, moved unseen with the aid of Carson McCabe and his smugglers.

The End of an Age

Now we sit in the final hour awaiting the second war of the gods to come to pass. With the coming of the Warlord will lead to the fate of Trakanon and the ascencion of the fourth hero of prophecy. It is here the world will burn as the sleeper walks. The Sleeper was said to be the one thing that could challenge the might of Veeshan herself. Fearing the destructive power of the Kerafyrm it was imprisoned and four warders remain yet to this day to guard the tomb of the destroyer.

It will be this fourth hero that challenges the might of the Sleeper and faces him within the final hour of Norrath. The fourth warder that rests within the tomb speaks of the three artifacts and the one that will rise to bring about the light in the heart of darkness. This one is an unfortold paladin of Mithaniel Marr. As with Malevolence, only a follower of Innoruuk could wield of it when it ended up freed of its curse and returned into the world once more. Truthbringer will undoubtedly be the same, a weapon of which only a paladin devoted to Mithaniel Marr shall stand.

The Fate of a Prophet

And what fate had befallen the once fabled sky dragon Trakanon who saw the end of the world? It is said that during the course of the war with the Iksar that the Sky Dragon suffered deep wounds. Upon the winds of legend are spoken that Trakanon suffered mercilessly at the hands of the Ring of Scale for his actions against the Iksar and the war that ensued. Some say in hushed tones that he used the black arts to sustain his being and keep him from death. It has even earned him the nickname of the poison dragon by some.

Others have declared Trakanon the second Plague Dragon with Ak'Anon being named after him when Edril Slew the Plague dragon that had once dwelt within the caverns where now rests the city of gnomes. It was the Plaguebringer appeared over Chelsith in the Overthere and destroyed the city in the last war of the gods. It is said a green cloud formed and took upon it the face of death, turning the city to ash and bone and the rivers to blood.

It was during the three fold plague of Bertoxxulous upon the Karana Plains that a green mist descended upon it to corrupt the plains with pestilence and decay. The breath weapon now used by Trakanon is a green mist, just like the green mist that seeped from the head of the Plague Dragon that once dwelt under Ak'Anon that Edril carried into the Steamfront Mountains.

Let us look at what remains of Sebilis and some of the things therein the lair of Trakanon. The Frenzied Pox Scarab, Gangrenous Scarab, and Myconid Spore King. All things not uncommon to the realm of Bertoxxulous and that which lies within the Plane of Decay. Bertoxxulous was brought into Norrath by the Nameless to bring death into the world as apart of the natural cycle of Norrath's ways. Did Trakanon make a pact with Bertoxxulous to cheat death that he might see the end days of his prophecy and the ascension of the fourth hero yet to come?

And yet even still, Trakanon surrounds himself with the followers of the light. Frogloks, the followers of Prexus yet remain at his side. Free from the once tyranny of their former Iksar masters. Trakanon has and continues to surround himself with those that spark the chords of light. First the Frogloks, then the Combine Empire, and finally the trolls that brought about Nalikor and his people. But even for Trakanon there shall be an end. For with his end, will herald the scourges of war...and the final battle for Norrath shall at long last be waged with the second war of the gods. None More Can Be Said Of This Matter.

Entry Three: The 1st War Of The Gods, AKA The War Of Earth

The Beginning

And so with the pact erected by Brell, Prexus, and Tunare that erected The Veil to keep the Wurmqueen in check; the inevitable took place. The Warlord, Rallos Zek who had been invited in part of the pact but did not trust the three, responded in such a way that would never be forgotten. For soon enough he would make his own pact. One that would bring about doom of all, and seal the box that would hold the keys of Armageddon.

The First Invasion

The empire of the Ogre's was the first. From their home in the mountain passes of Faydwer in Ranthok's Ridge off of the Lesser Faydarks (see Map of Norrath) did their empire grow, and expand upon Tunaria as well.

The Ogres then learned the magics of other planes (perhaps from the hand of the Ankexfen) and growing weary of only Norrath, invaded the Plane of Earth ruled by the Rathe Council. Rallos Zek watched with pride as his creations challenged the rulers of the outworld. When they eventually knew defeat, pride astruck...the Warlords thirst for vengeance demanded to be quelled.

The Pact of Fear

The plot of Rallos Zek began to unfold. He had made a pact with the Shissar, who in turn built for him the spires and the great pyramids that would carry his armies, in what would become the invasion of the Plane of Earth.

Wherever can be found the spires, can be found the children of Rallos Zek. On Odus are the Kobolds, upon then Tunaria (Antonica) are the Giants, Gnolls, and occasional Cylcops's in the Rathe Mountains, the Karana Plains and the Commonlands, Upon Vellious where sits the Giants of Kael Drakkal, and the Ankexfen which are now split to four tribes of goblins, and Upon Faydwer did rest the Ogres and their orcish slaves who had spread their empire across the face of Norrath and to Tunaria as well.

War

It was then that the combined armies of the Warlord had gathered, and this time he would lead them to battle personally. Using the spires made by the Shissar, his armies amassed and began their movement to the south. Within what became known as the Rathe Mountains a portal or gateway was torn asunder to the Plane of Earth once more. The war that ensued shook the heavens, angering the greater gods. The first war was finally at hand.

With their combined might, the gods thwarted the Warlord and his minions. It was then a great barrier was erected, entombing the God of War within his Plane of Power, a prisoner within. The gods then turned to the armies of Rallos Zek and smote them all with terrible hexes. Thousands of ogres were slain instantly and their empire fell to ruin about them. Rallos Zek, the Warlord and his armies...were no more.

The Cursing of the Rathe

The Rathe Council cursed many of the creatures of Zek. All those that were cursed and those that would be born of their kin would inherit the curse. The ogres, the kobolds, and the gnolls. All those were taken of their great intellect. Only the Giants of Kael Drakkal survived the curse having never taken part in the great conflict within those mountain passes upon that day of legend. It is however never spoken of as to why the denizens of Kael Drakkal never marched upon that day and were spared a terrible fate. The spires that reside within the Great Divide of Vellious have no known way to be accessed by the wielders of the arts of wizardry. Are the Ankexfen the reason for this?

The Shissar

The Shissar had been the creations and followers of Cazic Thule. The Shissar's power and empire had become great, spreading from Kunark to across Tunaria and into the Feeroot where they erected a temple devoted to their god, the Lost Temple of Cazic Thule (a shissar pyramid is located within the temple).

After the shissar made their pact, two of their brood were raised up and became greatly powerful. Allize Taeew the herald of fear, and Allize Volew the herald of war (note the faction hits inside The Lost Temple of Cazic Thule zone).

At the end of the war the Shissar befell a great and powerful curse. It is unknown if this was due in part from the Rathe Council or from the influence of some other god. The shissar were struck and robbed of their great intellect and digressed into mere shadows of their former selves, the lizard men. It is the Iksar who speak the tongue of Lizard Men to this day, having inherited it from their masters the shissar with no racial language of their own.

Those that followed the herald of fear, Allize Taeew remained within their temple in the jungle and suffered the same curse and disfigurations as their cousins that they now blamed for their embittered fate (Killing in the Lost Temple of Cazic Thule raises faction with Allize Volew who are on Rallos Zek faction, in turn raising faction with the guards of Oggok). Their herald who survived the great conflict was cursed equally and banished. To this day he walks upon his prison within the Ocean of Tears, the dreaded Allizewsaur.

After all other cities of the Shissar had been destroyed at the hands of Tunare, Brell, and Karana, Bertoxxulous rose up in a green cloud that formed over the capital city of the Shissar that resides in what the Iksar call Overthere; the city of Chelsith. The hideous visage of the Plaguebringer opened his grisly visage and his maw poured a green mist from which flowed death itself. The streets of Chelsith were turned to ashe and decay, and the rivers ran freely like wine from the blood of the fallen.

In the midst of their destruction the Maiden of Shadows appeared to them and made with them their second pact. What remained of the uncursed of the Shissar departed to the ringed moon of Luclin. Salvation was theirs, but at the cost of their imprisonment upon the ringed moon. They built a new temple within what became known as "The Grey", and became the unheard.

The Ankexfen

The Ankexfen were named after their progenitor, Hazeg Ankexfen. They were extremely cunning and bore a great intellect, joining the ogres in their plots. The curse of the Ankexfen was equally severe as that of their cousins. They were split into four separate races of each of the four elements and their minds erased of what once was. They are what we now know of as goblins, and the artifact staff which had governed them was likewise split into four separate and equal parts.

A piece for each of the new goblin tribes. The ice goblins were given an ice crystal staff (from the Scryer in permafrost), the fire goblins a fire crystal staff (from the Goblin Drunkard in solusek's eye) aqua goblins were given a water crystal staff (found on Webclaw Murkwater in Lake Rathetear), and the earth or slime goblins a slime crystal staff (from King Xorbb in the Gorge, who had formerly enslaved those goblins). It is said that Aetherthane D'zitherak (A Visiting Priestess, found in Najena) seeks the staff for the Church of the Firstborn and the King of Neriak. To what ends is this? Another sign of the four horsemen that will bring about Trakanon's Prophecy?

The Gnolls

From the Depths of Splitpaw

Volume 1 - History of the Verishe Mal
We were forged from the Earth by the hands of our lord Brell Serellis. He molded us into an image that suited him, and we were glad. Such is our role to learn and expand, and be one with the underworld. We were born to know many things and we shall. Our lord told us that we suffered not the curse of the others, and for this, we are grateful.

Volume 2 - History of the Verishe Mal
Our forefathers gave us many tasks to better us. We learned the way of the sword, and the way of magiks. Each task we proved victorious, and for a time, quite prosperous. In time, we grew to be a large race, riddled with a ruthless empire that spanned many a mile. Our worth was broken down into a caste system, and many were made slaves.

Volume 3 - History of the Verishe Mal
The Verishe Mal were then ruled by the Ishva Mal, a hard and stern ruler. In the old tongue, Ishva means Supreme and Mal means ruler. Beneath the Ishva, there were the Rosch, and the Tesch, the caster and warrior caste. Above the Rosch and the Tesch were the Nisch, the spiritual leaders of the Verishe Mal. Shortly after the abolishion of the old ways and the Ishva, the Nisch Val formed a Council of Nine, which still rule to this day.

Volume 4 - History of the Verishe Mal
The Council of Nine has ruled us faithfully for many a year now. We find peace in our lives and vow not to harm another. There are still many factions that want to return to the old ways, but the current council, has opposed those ideas when in chamber. They suspect at this time that there may be someone working within the council to be working with the old Ishva to return the Verishe to the old ways. This must not happen at all costs.

A Tanned Splitpaw Skin
Fear not my brethren! We have taken this home and we shall make it our own! Use what resources we have to establish ourselves here. Care not about the Theth, for they are our inferiors. Use their goods, use their services, and use their skins if need be. In time, we shall feel our former glory! Ishk kal hobra!

What remains of the Theth of "Infected Paw" now lie within Lake Rathetear at the standing stones, being preached to by a gnoll follower of Rodcet Nife, Brother Dresh. The gnolls while creatures of Rallos Zek, swiftly soon fell under the influences of other gods like Brell and Bertoxxulous, while some remained loyal to the Warlord.

The Ogres

The Ogres and their empire were shattered and destroyed, a shall of their former selves after suffering at the hands of the curse of the Rathe. They were driven back to Faydwer until the Ogre-Dwarf war came to pass. Then using the ruins of the port from what was the remains of the Teir'Dal Empire of Caerthiel they sailed across the sea to then Tunaria and built within the south the city of Oggok, which in the tongue of ogres means revenge. For it was revenge they would wait for against the dwarves.

To this day their are still evidence of the Ogres upon Faydwer, in the form of the Mudtoes, Corflunk and Zarchoomi. There is also a letter found from Ambassador D'Vinn from King Naythox Thex informing him to get rid of the ogres.

Luclin

During this time when the gods began to fight and bicker amidst themselves, Luclin departed to the ringed moon out past The Veil, erected by the three. It was here she slowly began to build what would become a small planet over time through plot and machination.

After the coming of Bloody Kithicor the Shadowmen appeared, opposing the Temple of Solusek Ro. It is said upon the face of Luclin's moon looks like what might be an entry to a plane of fire. Also within the Maidens Eye lays beings that pay homage to the Burning Prince. What caused such enmity between two gods of neutrality? Luclin seems to be bent somewhat towards the dark making pacts with evil ones and those that dwell in the arts of the dead, while Solusek Ro although neutral seems bent towards those of the light while having a friendly rivalry with Mithaniel Marr.

Was this started when Marnek Jaull lead a cult of necromancers who paid homage to Solusek Ro, within the ruins of Befallen? It was said Marnek slew hundreds by the fold to appease his god, until slain by Deepwater Knights. Did he go unanswered, only to gain the attention of Luclin?

The Riddle of the Sphinx

What is the riddle of the Sphinx’s that lay within the Rathe Mountains? Did the dragons that had been involved with the Teir’Dal of Caerthiel leave their mark upon the mountains, as they had in the massive arena where Rallos Zek had dwelled? Or was this the work of Trakanon, a foreshadowing of things to come?

...I continued on making my way up the vaulted steps to the Temple of Marr. I was greeted by an acolyte of Erollisi that wore flowing white garments. My ride had been hard and my spirit long since toiled. I was refreshed and soothed as she tended to me and my brought my wise counsel to my spirit. Within the house of the Twins I sat to rest; sanctuary. Blessed was I, for in the embrace of the truth are all the secrets of eternity found. This Is The Last Of My Third Entry.

Entry Four: Venril Sathirs Plan

Venril Sathir moved back into Karnor's Castle some 50 years ago. Before that time, the Iksar Lich-King spent more then a century in hiding in The Bile at his Fortress Varis, after his defeat at the hands The Alliance of Stone. The Alliance of Stone's victory came only after the leader of Venril's Lycanthrope army, an Iksar wizard serpent changer by the name of Thuuga, was deceived by the Ring of Scale and joined the Alliance.

Venril Sathir vowed to rebuild his empire to its former terrible glory of two thousand years past. However, he had learned a valuable lesson at his last defeat. Choosing to stay out of the public's eye from now on, he has since become secretive and has been rebuilding his strength quietly, biding his time as the tendrils of his influence snake their way into all levels of society. He has many agents and moles placed strategically all across the continent that report to him and see that local politics resolve themselves in a manner favorable to his designs.

One such agent is a shapeshifter by the name of Korucust. Appearing as a Sarnak, Korucust managed to become a member of Sarnak Overking Bathezid Di'zok's council. The Ring of Scale had a representative that once sat upon the Sarnak king's council but he disappeared mysteriously around one year ago, shortly after Korucust was elected. The truth of the matter is that Korucust assassinated this representative at Venril's behest. One of Venril's goals is to subvert the influence that the Ring of Scale has over the Sarnak. Indeed, he views the Sarnak as a means of eventually destroying the Ring of Scale.

Before he ordered the assassination, Venril learned very important information about the Ring of Scale through the reports he received from Korucust. He found that a few years back the Ring of Scale were able to steal the memories of a certain High Elven Paladin. The notion that it was possible to actually steal the memories of another and take them as your own was one that was quite attractive to Venril.

Venril has been watching the elves and their small settlement with interest. Far from posing any sort of threat, they have been creating a pleasant distraction that has kept the Frogloks, giants and others busy much to his delight. Nevertheless as in all things, he pays close attention to their activities through his spies. He favors the Lycanthropes, those that still remain loyal to him, for that particular duty. Their superior senses allow them to watch and hear things from a great distance, without alarming the elves.

He was fascinated when he began to hear that the elves were telling stories, once again, about this certain High Elven Paladin that had her memories stolen. The rumors say this High Elven Paladin currently has in her possession a staff, allegedly given to her by Tunare, which seems to have an enchantment upon it that is helping the High Elf to regain her memories. Furthermore, Venril hears that this High Elf will be travelling to this elven small settlement very soon, to embark upon a journey to find and confront the Ring of Scale.

Upon hearing that the Paladin would soon be traveling to the continent, Venril swore that he would learn the secret of stealing memories. He sees this as a way to exponentially increase his knowledge while destroying his enemies at the same time. Indeed, a ruler without memories is one whose kingdom is easily conquered. If he can gain access to this ability he feels he may finally realize his goal of total control of the continent and eventually, the entire world.

Venril Sathir wants both Firiona Vie and her staff, The Lifeguide, so he can study them both and learn how it is that he can steal the memories of others and take them as his own. Venril begins to hatch a plot to bring this about.

Of course, the last thing Venril wants is to gain the attention of Ring of Scale or anyone else for that matter. He tasks a powerful shaman by the name of Danak Dhorentath with kidnapping Firiona. He will have her hidden in a remote location, far away from his Castle Karnor. Venril knows without a doubt that there will be elven search parties and the like for a time after her disappearance but he is not concerned. Patience is a trait he has learned in his roughly 400 years as a Lich.

Danak Dhorentath hatches a foul plan to accomplish this goal. Venril lends Danak a powerfully enchanted magic necklace. This necklace has the ability to open a gate to remote encampment far from Venril's domain. Taking a team of four Lycanthropes and a lesser Initiate of The Arisen, Danak and his party make their way to the small elven settlement to fulfill his dark master's wishes and capture the High Elven Paladin. There Is Yet To Know More Of The Lich Kings Plan.

Entry Five: Lanys T`Vyl

The Moon of Blood: The moon of blood is the most holy night for Innoruuk's followers and occurs once every twenty-seven months. On this heinous night every follower of Innoruuk must murder a good being to honor his or her god. The dark elves have their own tradition on this night as well. The nobles choose a commoner to mate with and then sacrifice to their dark god.

Two to three score years ago Vendela G`Kal, a high priestess of Innoruuk, attended the Festival of the Moon of Blood in the Neriak commons. As the festival progressed, she noticed an exceptionally fine looking common male in the throng. The high priestess bade him to be her sacrifice to Innoruuk. She led him to her inner sanctum, where they copulated throughout the night. Spent, she fell into a deep sleep. When she awoke, the dark elf was gone. One year later, she gave birth.

The child borne from this chance encounter showed remarkable abilities beyond that which any ordinary Teir`Dal had ever possessed. Many saw this, and took note. As she grew, many tried to end her life, fearing her for her power and abilities. On the first such attempt, an ancient shadow knight saw the three would be assassins and slew them as they made their attempt upon the Child of Innoruuk. After the battle, Innoruuk appeared before the Shadow Knight and bade him to do his bidding. He assigned the Shadow Knight to teach and protect his child and gave him a new body to do so. Under his tutelage, the child grew strong in both the art of combat and in the dark magics of Necromancy. She is now stands ready to bring hate across all of Norrath.

Lanys T`Vyl is the Child of Hate. She is the embodiment of Hate upon Norrath. She carries herself with a deadly grace. Any who oppose her will be submitted to her unforgiving wrath and those that follow her are said to eventually be led to glory. She is very loyal to those that follow her, as she cherishes her father's creations and looks upon them as her own, but mercy be felt for those Teir`Dal who would betray her for their torments would be everlasting within her grasp.

Through the past year she has risen and taken a name for herself amongst the mortal history of Norrath, her heart scorched with a great hatred for the new 'grace' that has fallen upon the earth. The Koada`Dal known as Firiona Vie, claimed to be the Champion of Tunare, has sparked an extreme hatred within Lanys's already darkened heart, a hatred so cold that it has numbed the rest of her senses. One year ago a battle was fought within Kithicor Wood, a battle between Lanys T`Vyl and her army, granted to her personally by King Naythox Thex, and Firiona Vie. There Lanys was defeated by the might of good, but Laarthik's own sacrifice saved her life, allowing her to be cradled within the realm of Hate; her mortal form was forever sealed away by the powers of Tunare.

For many a moon Lanys remained locked away within her father's realm, patiently basking within her torments as she awaited her return. With the assistance of a powerful necromancer, whose name she has since forgotten within her chaotic thoughts, Lanys's soul was transported safely into the material realm of Norrath, her soul replaced into a Teir`Dal female's body. Having defeated Tunare's bind upon her, Lanys returned to Neriak to only be met by disdain and intense disgust from many of the people within Neriak - her recent failure reflecting furiously within their eyes. Lanys has sense sought to bring revenge to the '******* wench' who had caused her turmoil, vowing that she will be the death of Firiona Vie and eventually, the of Tunare herself.

Entry Six: The Dark Elven Empire Of Caerthiel

Ruins of Caerthiel

What remains of the Teir'Dal empire of Caerthiel can be found throughout all Antonica and upon Faydwer, from the time of the Age of Monuments. The white spires as told of us through the history of the Ebon Masks were built by the High Elves, while the dark green colored towers were built by the Teir'Dal, and the bone towers were of the necromancers holds. The last remaining structure of the Caerthielian Empire is the foreboding Castle Mistmoore off of the Lesser Faydarks. Some ruins of old can yet be found still in West Karanas, Rathe Mountains, and the Butcherblock Mountains.

The Inheritance of Magery
The Teir'Dal people were the first to inherit Magery from the Shissar. The outpost of Najena was once a Shissar hold, as the Lost Temple of Cazic Thule was an ancient Shissar temple before their cursing at the first war of the gods; after their pact with Rallos Zek. This is also why various mage focus items are found in both places as well.

The witch Najena that currently resides in the ancient Shissar hold now occupied by the Teir'Dal seems to be loyal to the movements of King Naythox Thex of Neriak. Keeping her distance from the city also makes her an available tool to which the King may work in secret.

Influence of the Scale

It was the Ring of Scale whom made themselves involved with the Teir'Dal race. First they meddled into the affairs of the Iksar and now again with the Teir'Dal and their Empire of Caerthiel. The influence of dragonkind upon the world of Norrath always leaves its mark culturally speaking.

This is also why Frogloks (originally from Kunark) have Yakesha weapons and such. This is also why you will find strange weapons such as Naginata's, Katana's, and Wakizashi's. It is the Avenging Caitiff inside Castle Mistmoore that grants the quest for the "Electrum Bladed Wakizashi" for turning in both the fangs of the maid and the butler. An agent of the Ring of Scale sent to do battle with the agents of their nemesis. Also the dragons of Vellious seek to have the soul of a dragon lain to rest murdered by the giants of Kael Drakkal. It is said that the vengeful spirit of this dragon, Garzicor is asked to be honed into the form of a Naginata.

The earliest influences of dragons upon Teir'Dal go all the way back to when the Teir'Dal left the Plane of Underfoot for the surface of Odus (where the entry lies). This is why all the various oriental weapons are found there. The presence of Bloodstone is also largely felt in Kunark. The Bloodstone Throne of Caerthiel was not too unlike the same Bloodstone Throne's found from the Combine Empire and the Iksar Empire. Both of the later of which had the influence of dragons as well.

What did the Teir'Dal have to do with Vellious? The sirens of sirens grotto seem to look so much like the Teir'Dal and are even named asimiliar. A Neriab maiden, sounds much like Neriak. Why is that? Why is it also that Teir'Dal can approach the Shetari of the Dragon Necropolis? Both the Paebala and Shetari fight amidst one another, within this dragon graveyard.

Are the dragons the true masters of Necromancy? Was it the influence of dragonkind upon Neriak that caused the dark arts to be learned? Which in turn would have been how Miragul became the father of Heretics from his studies in Neriak and with Mayong and Tserinna.

Neriak Today

Today at current state, the city remains much as it was long ago. Save the influences of the rambunxious Lanys T’Vyl and her cohorts. As the line of Thex was no more and the Regent was gone, two nobles rose up from power by name of Cristianos and Naythox who declated themselves of the royal bloodline, although were clearly not. From this they gathered their followers and each vied for power in an internal struggle within the city. The Church of the Firstborn, the guild which consisted of casters of the arts, and warriors all allied themselves to the self imposed King of Thex. The self imposed Queen of Thex, allied herself to the Shadowknights and Necromancers of the Lodge of the dead, and is reportedly seeking the ancient relics of the Thex bloodline going all the way back to Tunaria and the ruins of Takish Hiz.

The guild of Enchanters chose another route, lead by the second house of Neriak; House X‘lottl. They serve Mayong Mistmoore. Loyal to the true bloodline and ruling house of Caerthiel and the Church of the Firstborn. The Ebon Masks and the line of Vargas take no side in affairs as they are known to the truth and will only side with the true king or queen. They are also the only rogues guild in all of Norrath to which Carson McCabe holds no influence over. In fact, the Ebon Masks despise McCabe and his agents. But for what reasons?

Mayong Mistmoore & Tserinna Syl'Tor

Mayong Mistmoore and Tserinna Syl'Tor can be traced all the way back to the Teir'Dal Empire of Caerthiel and its earliest roots being that of Odus. Castle Mistmoore is the last hold of the Teir'Dal Empire that once was. Captain Rohand of the Maiden‘s Lure speaks of his travels, as well an ancient vampire that has been said to haunt the lands of Faydwer.

The creatures of Mayong Mistmoore and Tserinna are still found across the Karana Plains to which were left as a result of their involvements. A librarian of the Erudin Library sells a copy of a page from the journal of Miragul, foretelling of how Tserinna experimented with magics to which a soul was bound to objects, hence creating the first Scarecrow. This is also evident from the animated suits of armor upon the third floor of her tower. Miragul had spent much time with the Teir'Dal people to master the dark arts that he might cheat death.

Mistmoore's curse of Lycanthropy likewise still accurses the Karana Plains to this day. Werewolf hunters can even be found wandering the Northern Karana's. Mayong Mistmoore is the father of Lycanthropy as is known from speaking with Lord Nethryn the Artributo of the Realm of Heroes, from Felwithe.

Tserinna built her Tower of Frozen Shadow in Vellious by entombing the mountain spirits of the Stonebrunt Mountains. They were trapped within stone, and the stone used to forge her twisted spire which stands as a blight upon the lands of shadow and ineffable darkness. This taken from an account of the Kejekan, that dwell within the mountain passes.

Mayong Mistmoore came to despise dragonkind for many ages along with Venril Sathir, and his line. His hatred towards dragons is believed spawned by the long time Knowledge of the Crystal Claw of Veeshan. Of the line of Sathir was spurned at the hands of the disappearance of Dencarja and the Imperatrix Zhelebati Thex of Caerthiel. It was said that neither Dencarja nor Imperatrix Zhelebati could be seen in either the lands of the dead or the living. Do they yet remain somewhere on Norrath or trapped in another world?

The Betrothal of Mistmoore and Syl'Tor

During the time of Mayong Mistmoore's hunting of Veeshan and her brood, Mayong Mistmoore was to wed Tserinna. Tserinna was once a mortal but then embraced by a kiss of darkness, entering into a state of vampiric undeath at the hands of her lover. The two would be wed and portraits of her beloved were placed throughout the dreary spire.

It was from Tserinna that Miragul the father of Heretics and first hero of Trakanon mastered the arts of lichcraft. Upon her wedding night she approached Mayong Mistmoore a gift to her betrothed. It was here that she gave him the ultimate gift of magic in the form of the worlds one and only known dragon lich, the Dracolich that now wanders the realm of Cazic Thule.

Mistmoore rebuked her for this gift and declared her an abomination fearing wrathe from on high. Tserinna in her anguish in turn slew the wedding party within the tower, and to this day they yet remain in the torments of undeath. The portraits of Mayong Mistmoore were likewise defaced as well. To this very day Tserinna carries the Phylactery of the Dracolich in the form of a Soulstone upon her person, a bitter memory of the past (it is also revealed through the quest dealing with Garzicor that precious gems can be used to contain the spirits of Dragons). Upon approach to the dismal tower can be heard the feint beating of a heart. Is that the soul of a dragon crying out for release or that of the souls crying out i unison trapped within the makeup of the tower?

What did Tserinna Syl'Tor have to do with Luclin? Shadow Guardians litter the snowy wastes outside the tower, and within the tower can be found "Shadows" dwelling within. These Shadows and Shadow Guardians are neither living nor dead, neither are they undead. There are also shadows upon Luclin, especially within the area of Shar Vahl. Are these shadows what remains of lost erudites that were moved with the city when the Erudites attempted to use their weapon against the Heretics? They seem exactly as if the Shadow Men that seemingly oppose the Temple of Solusek Ro. Within the Maidens Eye upon Luclin can be found the agents of The Burning Prince. What part did Tserinna play in the first war of the gods?

The Veil of Veeshan

Sainy hums a tune to herself, but all you can make out are names of the Gods here and there.

Sainy says, 'I thank you all for coming. Please, do everything you can to get as many people here as possible. It is very important that as many people hear my message as possible.'

Sainy says, 'I am Sainy Dragonfriend, messenger of the great Ring of Scale. A pleasure to meet you.'

Sainy says, 'Friends! I am about to tell my tale.'

Sainy says, 'First, let me thank you for coming. Many people doubt the seriousness of the matter at hand.'

Sainy says, 'Now, make yourselves comfortable, as I tell you The Tale of Veeshan's Veil .'

From the world's core, the rock children rose. Shielded from wurms eyes by dirt and stone.'

With gnarled hands and broken bones, They carved their place into Veeshan's Home.'

Soon after, the woodlands and deserts and swamps, All nurtured life planted by interloping Gods.'

Veeshan left her children, in peaks carved by her claws , Turned her back on Norrath, and her fellow Gods laws.'

The Crystalline Dragon content in her lair, Sealed off the Sky and still slumbers there.'

Some dragons wend mad, apart from their queen, Others took charge and formed a wurm Ring.'

The rebels were hunted and sent from the peaks, To dwell in the lands inhabited by the weak.'

One of these rebels, a lady as white as snow, Swept up a shard of a nature unknown.'

As years dragged on one by one, the wurms fell, Into a deep slumber from what no one could tell,'

Their Magic had faded, because of the shard? Or perhaps from the magic they call Veeshans Veil.'

Now a new verse to this legend I'll share, In regards to the Sky and what is happening there.'

Veeshan still slumbers, the veil has worn thin, The Wurm Queen neglect wakes her children again.'

Sainy says, 'My song is done, but I will warn you to heed the words of my verse, for they speak the truth.'

Mortals now visit where Veeshan slumbers, and only dragons once dwelled, but the door to the Sky is not a one way portal. There is much to learn from the Great Wurms and much to fear .'

Then the bardess arose from her seat and made her way for the spires...

There was an eerie mist as she entered the spires, then silence, and she was gone...

Sometime later did the agents of Mistmoore stumble into a troublesome member of the League of Antonica Bards that forewarned of the events coming to pass. The dreaded Mayong Mistmoore tormented the bard with his family whom he had imprisoned within the dungeons of Castle Mistmoore. The Minions of Mayong Mistmoore (which included Khasra) watched with glee of the interrogation by their master. It was discerned from the bard, the waning of The Veil and use of the Crystal Claw of Veeshan by the Ring of Scale to destroy what remained of it. The whereabouts of that poor bard and his family are yet unknown...even and until this very day.

It was then the awakening began. Mayong Mistmoore came across a wounded dragon which had been assailed upon by rangers. From the dragon Mistmoore discovered that Lady Vox when banished from the Ring of Scale for trying to make a second Kerafyrm (The Sleeper) with her mate Lord Nagafen, had taken with her the Crystal Claw of Veeshan.

The master vampire along with his retainer Lord Galendore then made their way to Dagnor's Cauldron to seek out an agent of Carson McCabe, Kivgor Illbriar (After this event there were faction hits in High Pass Hold that went up for the Ring of Scale when fighting the people of McCabe). Upon entering the Cauldron Lord Galendore aquired the services of their ally, and informed him of his need. To this day as a result of those events stands a dwarven paladin on that same isle within the Cauldron that is allied to the Ring of Scale (faction hits).

At the events transpired within the Cauldron, Mayong Mistmoore awarded the most helpful of mortals that had assisted Lord Galendore in the finding of Kivgor Illbriar. Lord Galendore gave to them his Runed Bolster Belt and Mayong Mistmoore a potion that transformed them into "Eternity's Knight"; a vampire thrall of the lord of the damned.

A number of dragons then appear within the hills outside the city of Qeynos and assumed mortal form. One of their number being a blue drake named Drakel took the form of a high elf, Lady Zavo Zatanov. They gather a band of adventurers to escort them to lair of Lady Vox, who is found howling in rage over the theft of the shard from Veeshans claw; left from when Veeshan struck the world in its creation.

These dragons now in mortal form from the Ring of Scale confront Carson McCabe's agent and is felled by their hands, attaining the Crystal Claw of Veeshan. Leaving the ruins of Permafrost Keep they run into the lackeys of Mayong Mistmoore that had been sent to escort Kivgor Illbriar back to the halls of Castle Mistmoore. A battle ensues between the dragons and their adventurous allies against the agents of Mistmoore who are driven off, with Lord Galendore left slain. At the commencement of their victory they are asked to aid them in a ceremony that would be performed within the confines of the Rathe Mountains.

At the Rathe Mountains the members of the Ring of Scale that are present begin preparations for their ceremony that will forever rend the veil, and awaken dragons all across the face of Norrath from their slumber. However, before the ceremony can even take place Mayong Mistmoore arrives confronting the dragons and their allies.

Three of the dragons who had now assumed their true form are slain before the gathered adventurers can drive Mayong from the Mountain Passes. With the ceremony now in ruin Lady Zavo asks for a volunteer to sacrifice himself and keep the Crystal Claw of Veeshan in safe keeping, who was then dubbed "The Scaled Claw".

AfterWord:
It Is Obvious Now That The Forces Of Evil Are Trying To Regain Their Dominion Over The Rest Of The Civilized Beings Of Norrath. They Believe That It Is Time For The Dragons Dominion To Be Lost, And Never Again To Be Seen. We Await The Dark Day Of The Light, And I Am Ready To Fight For My God, Though I See No Problem With The Light, I, Do Not Embrace It, For I Have Enemy Nor Friend, And Wish For The Dark Elven Peoples To Rise Up Yet Again And Take Back What I Believe Is Rightfully Theirs. It Is Now Time For The War Of The Worlds To Begin. My Writing Is No Longer Needed...

Well, Im Glad You Think My Diary Is Vivid, Many People Say Im Just A Rambling Madman. But Anyways, To Answer Your First Question, The Way I Get All This Information Is By Travelling, Speaking With Kings And Emporers Throughout Norrath, Listening To Travellers That I Come Across On Boats, And I Have A Few Spies That Do The "Handy" Work For Me. That should Answer Your Second Question, My Friend, And Again I Thank You For Reading My Diary And Enjoying It.

It was obvious that Mayong Was Tsaph Katta, Leader Of The Combine,Was He Taking out his vengeance in the hate of one of Sebilis's secret allies (Seru, The Murderer Of Tsaph And Lich-Lord Of The New Combine Empire?) <- It's very easy for a sky dragon to destroy that many warships. A squall :P Also what on earth makes you think that Mayong was Tsaph Katta? They're too completely different "people" so it is not obvious.

Odd, that so many people are willing to contribute hundreds of days of their lives to a game and not have the slightest care to understand what that game is meant to be about. Is raiding and killing all that you care about? Is EverQuest just a glorified chat room to you? A story does exist in this world, and I very, very much thank Canio for putting much of it together for us; knowing this history truly makes Norrath and Luclin seem somewhat alive. The lost continents, I am guessing, will indeed be the subject of the next expansion - a strange island continent is the only land mass visible from Luclin, and the likelyhood of our being left tantalized by this sight forever is low, considering the recent beneficial gameplay changes being made. In other words, if we are lucky, substance will follow style. Again, a good original post (although it seems a bit self-contradictory in some places), and please keep writing in the Diary of Canio.

If you read the chat with the development team held at the last fan faire, this guy has been killed on either 3 or 4 other servers. This is according to the developers at verant that like to keep up on these things. It can be done, it has been done. So before you people start saying he kicks people to luclin and shoots flaming babies out of his **** here this: He is killable, he has been killed, he will be killed again.

I Think I'll Get That Put On My Robe :P After All Of These Guilds Have Popped Kera, And None Of Them Have Even Come Remotely Close, I Do Think He's NEAR Unkillable, But I Think That One Day Something Will Arise In Either Storyline Or Equipment To Make It Possible. But For Now, Kerafyrm=God!

I heard that Afterlife tried to take sleeper on MM, but failed.

BTW Fires of Heaven is the best guild in the game not Afterlife, I'd bet money on that.

not a lie, he's been released on 3 servers, prexus MM and veeshan by FoH, afterlife, and KTF, all got severely sodomized, no one can try him again because the story line goes that he flies up to kill veeshan who had entrapped him in the first place (ya wow verrant not planning another storyline there huh?!)
The Coming story line

I plan to make a cheap movie showing Kerafyrm's History the greatest creature to have ever walked on the planet of Norrath, currently if u die in a fight from him he will disapear and Dragons all over planet will go psycho according to snapshots taken of this guy. Its all really a conspiracy to end the world and The Crusaders Guild accomplished that and all got whooped. Vox and Nagafen wanna , and make another one of these things.... uhhhh what a bad thought. and this guy is not lvl.75 a lvl.55 gorilla deals 235d max, now lets take into account that and kerafyrms damage average 1900d with pics to prove it so that means maybe at very least, lvl.90 and most likely higher....

Hey ever heard of the Crusaders? This website has pictures of Kerafyrm and The Crusaders guild get jumped by him. They released Kerafyrm and they explain what happens afterwards the gayass GMs Disbanded the guild for trying to become the greatest in Everquest. Their Guild is disbanded, Kerafyrm got out, and they all got severe penalties for pretty much no reason. They all got him down to about 60% Hp whn they all died, mostly because they were looting all their corpses. They freaked out when it woke.

WTF are u talking about? First off the name of the guild is Conquest and second they never fought Kerafym. Died cause they were all looting their corpses? They all died because while fighting one of the warders GMs spawned Kerafym (in human form) and he killed them. They never got him down to 60% and never claimed to anywhere on their website. Maybe you should go back and take a look and tell us what u figure out this time.

Lol to the guy who said he was in Skyshrine when it happened.. well, he DOESNT have a zone wide DT, he has a small AoE DT, and procs mes every once in a while, DOESNT quad, just hits once for usually around 1700. Tash does land, as well as the lures. And thats recent info.

This mob flurries and has a single target death touch. He does not have an AoE, if he did no one would be able to FD around him. Its not that hard to figure out
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 01 2002 at 3:57 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) FoH ( fire of heavens ) was close to kill him but then Kerafyrm was bugged and ( cat´s in hats ) have tried to take him down too that is the 2 largest guild over EQ cat´s in hats have like 80 lvl 60´s and all was tried to kilkl him but he don´t lost 30% life. veeshan is his enemy, veeshan and all the other dragons banded together and emprisoned him a long time ago, now that he's loose he flies up to fight veeshan after romping SS for a day
Are you people crazy?

Yal ever know the sleeper never been killed right? Well lets think about that for a minute...there are key words there "never been killed". Well i dont know about yal but just having fun dying? and not even killing the thing. I know im just a lvl 19 druid but when im lvl 60 ill be smart enough to stay away from "The Sleeper". I just wanted to get my opinion in and i had an idea if yal ever do decide to try it again. Get a bunch;and i mean A BUNCH, of level 60 SK and level 60 clerics. The SK's Could Harmtouch him and clerics could heal the SK's. Well try that , maybe it will work . I dont know .

Sleeper is ONE of the unkillable mobs. Just like the guy who gives you the key to the sleeper's tomb. He is unkillable since he has lots and lots and lots of hp and a DT(deathtouch for ppl who dont now). It was also said one of the warders was unkillable but that was proven wrong when he was killed...
Was present for his awakening
# Feb 27 2002 at 7:12 PM Rating: Default
Ok, on Tarew Marr, I was present when Enlightened Dark woke him. I was not part of the attack, but was in the zone. HE DOES NOT HAVE A ZONE WIDE DT! I was personally DTed, but I did not witness anything that effected the entire zone. Maybe she was sleepy, and hadn't gotten full strength, so the zone wide DT hadn't become available to her, but it DIDN'T happen in the tomb. She quad hit me for 1500. I died, big surprise. I disagree with the killing of her. WHy? Simple. Your server gets one shot at her. She never respawns, she can never be awakened. Why kill so many other players just to satisfy your own ego? There IS a weapon out there who can kill her, and if not, well, this is a game, and verant will put something in eventually. Who knows if they will respawn her so your server can get a chance to kill her after that weapon, spell, etc, is found/implimented? Perhaps it is their way of rewarding those servers who's high levels who had the common sence and courtesy not to wake her. Most servers have awakened her, so with only a few left, perhaps those uber guilds should direct their time to finding a weapon or spell capable of killing her insted of making the same dumb mistake Enlightened Dark and many other uber guilds did. Who am I to post this? A level 36 necro, 59 Warrior, 60 SK, and 53 Mage. All I got to say about it and would urge any guilds considering waking her to rethink it. You get one shot, and if you blow it, you never get one again.
Yeah right.
