This is truly one of the most enjoyable encounters in the game for a warrior. This mob hits me for 1200 or so without defense disc up and for about 800 with the disc up. He quads for this ammount, so you can go down fast. He seems to drop the Blade of Carnage more commonly than his other loot table items, so it wouldn't surprise me if his loot table were weighted thusly.

In Kael Drakkel: The Avatar of War spawns in the arena after the death of The Idol of Rallos Zek. It's highly resistant to fire, but weak to ice and magic.

In Kael Drakkel, the King's Madness: Spawns after The Idol of Rallos Zek dies. It AE rampages; its "Devastation of Rallos" hits everyone on its hate list. Reportedly, The Avatar of War despawns after having been up for 20 minutes regardless of whether it is aggro (The Avatar of War is the final mob in a three-named ring that starts with The Statue of Rallos Zek.) It sees through Invisibility. It has a large agro range and will assist other mobs nearby.

been killing on Druzzil Ro

some guild did 4killings of him in 3days (dunno how they did it but it happened)
all of them had less than 6deaths
i watch 2 of them and got a acouple of hits on him
HE can be hit with Drought of Fire, for all you wizards out there
I had to try several time but after we has about at half heath i hit him for 351 damage.
Then i went up to get a Screen Shot...some how i drew aggro...(53wizzy with 821hp base)..need less to say i was hit for 1203damage
i did live because i had Aego and some other HP buff spells

The AoW has been being hunted lately on Karana by the mighty guild <a href="http://home.insightbb.com/~nightbane/index.html"> Nightbane</a>

Heh - YOU obviously don't know Nightbane very well, do you? I don't like them (they waxed Tunare, and I'm a Druid), but they command my *utmost* respect - I've seen what they can do (and, more to the point, HOW they get it done).

he was killed today on 7th hammer by the dark exile, dropped 2 blades and legs, took about 60 people and had about 3 deaths

Only 1 or 2 guilds have EVER killed the AOW without EVER going to ntov and without using dire charm.

yeah, I saw that on Dragon Council's website. Just wondering, have Phantom Raiders or Dragon Council tried him yet? Was in a group with a gnome SK alt of someone from Phantom Raiders and we got into talking about firsts on the server, AoW came up and I never thought to ask him if PR had tried yet.

AOW was dropped today on XEV by Legends of Harmonium. Took 70 people and under 10 died. Dropped the 15 20 sword 2 monk legs and bow. This guys i mean and only 1 guild on Xev van drop it. Hi Endruance

OK well you all know the Avatar of Fear in CT right? Well you see how small he is compared to the real Cazic Thule. Then take the names into conisdoration "Avatar of Fear(CT worshipper)" "Avatar of War(Rallos Zek worshipper)" Then theres the fact that CT is a temple to the god. Kael Drakkel has temples of the god Rallos Zek? So the main point here is would if the real Rallos Zek is the 8x bigger then AoW and Cazic is to AoF... Just think about it a giant giant running around bigger then the Sleeper... Just a little something to think about...

There is a mob in a cavern off the Grimling forrest in the acrylia caverns. You need to do a bunch of silly quests to get into the place and then you have to get into his castle. He is called the MAster or something like this. I dont want any crap from peeps that dont know. I just want to know if any of you other Servers have cracked the building and gone up? Rumour has it that the master is another Mayong Mistmoore but NPC and just sick deadly.
By the way to the guy who said Mayong Mistmoore never died. Before you came on this game back in the days of Beta when attacking the named beetles in rathe mountain got you wasted Mayong was spawned and could be killed, My guess is that a GM ran him then to, just kinda watched the zone occaisionaly to wait till enough fools were in there for him to eat. After it went live about 3 or 4 months later MM was dusted. On the Rathe server. Man i miss those days :-P Running for your life from a lower gukk train. No idiots were using the word UBER people actually played the game not Power leveled the game. Spectres were the gods of death. GM's were helpful. <heavy sigh> Anyone else miss those days ??

Consider the lore behind Rallos Zek (God of War)...This is the guy that created giants, orcs, and ogres. The other gods feared him enough to gang up and imprison him in the own plane (Plane of War). Can't wait for PoP to come out, this should be an interesting plane, and hopefully he will be tough as hell :)

This guy spawns like the drOOd corrupted dudes spawn... once one is killed the other is there... not quite so fast but he does... we have killed him several times even tou we are on giant faction, sometimes you just gotta take that faction hit for glory

Unfortunately? If the Idol had loot he would be rushed by a lower guild who couldn't kill the Avatar and the AoW would be left to despawn - just like it did when Statue triggered the spawn. That's why the Idol is there in the first place and that's why he doesn't have loot.

The Idol of Rallos Zek spawns when the Statue dies, its not on a timer. The idol doesn't despawn. The AoW spawns when the Idol is killed.

Triton on the Povar server killed him this evening. He dropped the mask, ring, sword, and some legs. Not all the loot he drops is posted on this site. Anyone have a better list of his drops or know where i can find one...thanks

I heard a Uber guild on my server Fury's Edge killed him, they had all of the guild there and they are like all 60's so about 80 lvl 60's. also heard they took down Tunare, not sure on both this information was just told by a friend of mine
