Small Piece of VeliumMyself (55 Ranger), 56 monk, 60 ranger, 60 cleric broke through the 7 spawn guarding the castle and made our way in. Seen this mob on track and wondered if we could single pull him. He only had a sentinel as an add so they were easy to split. He wasn't that difficult for us. Two epic rangers and an epic monk for melee. It was Kerd (the lower level mob that ended up owning us). Just a single mis-timed heal was all it took. I counted on the swarmy to proc for too long before switching to DPS mode. We had Kerd down to 12% before the 60 ranger died. Monk was next, then myself, then the cleric. We will try again soon. (Just the 4 of us) and we will own them both.
But a little word of warning for folks that haven't been up to this castle yet. It has 2 doors. Front door is an archway with the 7 mobs that all add so will have to be singled out. This truly is the safest way. The back door (near the garden) only has 2 sents behind it but touch that door, you and your whole group (if close enough) gets completely dispelled.

When killed, a 53rd level mini-golem named Kerd spawns immediately in place of Kerdelb's corpse.

Not too difficult if ya know what's comming, but the first time we pulled this guy I wasn't expecting him to hit so hard for a blue, he got in 5-6 hits from 330-420 quickly before I could hit defensive. Then a few seconds later I was dead before the cheal hit and my group of 6 was down.
Group Was (me)59war 60monk 60enc 57nec 53dru 56cler.
Anyway Nec FD, Rezzed the cleric cleric rezzed the rest of us and we pulled again.
Defensive on right away, got an add but chanter mezzed quick.
Cheals were on time and we dropped him in about 2 mins. Little guy popped on top of him and hit for 148 max with defensive still on. Defensive wore off halfway though the little one but he was easy, killed him and the add.

He's not too bad just be aware that he hits bloody hard, that's what killed us first time, not expecting my hp to drop so fast.

Took him out, he dropped a flawless diamond and a small brick of velium, thanks verant. Oh yeah, all died from the stupid mini boss except the cleric gated. We got 4 adds cause they wanted to have the warrior pull to use defensive /disc. paladin got 2 adds on first pull.
The mini boss doesnt move from where you kill big one. Enchanter or someone who can get to non-kos needed to drag corpses away from him.
As we recovered to go back and kill mini, some dip, decided to pull castle which started another train and 4/6 wipeout.
The mini boss was a cake walk, 59 enchanter forlorn deeds resisted twice, but he was dead before tried 3rd slow.
HE dropped the blood runed gauntlets, ac26 hp50 str5 wgt 0.0 SK/war

Kerdelb isn't supposed to drop loot, and usually doesn't. A flawless diamond is a nice compliment to those gloves. Don't complain.

Pulled him through Velk's throneroom to Frenzy. (I was bored, and mostly wanted to see if I could do it) Got an add somewhere along the way, and cleric's timing was thrown off... max hit was 420... Weren't really prepared for a mob that difficult.
He dropped 1 level 60 SK, a 59 warrior, a 59 mage, a 58 cleric, and a 59 chanter. (me) 57 rogue zoned in time.
Connect yellow to rogue and blue to me, so level 58.
I couldn't get slow to stick, (tried 4 times) but the mage said all his magic based nukes landed for full. He was tashed, and I'm pretty sure he was mala'd. Didn't give me the message saying he's immune to slow spells, so don't know what's going on.

Took him down last night, he dropped the Barbed Ringmail Tunic for us.
Offhand I'd say his drops are the same as Tpos's.

The split mob from him also drops blood runed guants: war/sk 25ac 5str 50hp 0wt
i think it is 25 or 26 ac...close enough
he may also drop the 39ac legs with -5agi and some other stats
could be possible he drops the 15ac blood runed belt but not 100% sure

When you kill Kerdelb a smaller one respawn from him..named Kerd...just to be prepared...and yes - drps Barbed Ringmail Arms.

lol Saw him on track thought he was a pet, Didnt look real close, and not all names are 58. Kregah Icepaw is 59 Lord Dojo...is 63+ and Velkor is 66

It was yellow to me. Our single group didn't try him, interested in what it drops, anyone know?
