I am a lowly level 15 Dark Elf ShadowKnight, trying to up my faction standing with the good guys.
Just wondering if I stand any chance of beating these guys. If they attack in threes and hit really hard, are me and my level 8 pet likely to be wiped out instantly?

Here's a stupid question: do these guys see through Invis/ItU? Because it says they are a monster, but they are undead...so do I need to bother with ItU? (Can't cast it myself)

Doing the quest for this item, the kitty vendor didn't have it and the zombie sailors always come at you in threes. Harmony is the way to go if you have it, then you can pick them off one at a time. Didn't take long to get one with the right loot either.

the reason these things are so tuff to everyone, is because they aren't a cleric. my cleric took these, the greenbloods, and the drowned citizens without a problem. expulse undead knocks 90 off, and ward undead works great while melee cause of the quicker cast time. so, bring a cleric!

I loved this quest it was really good because i got LOADS of cash and ok exp. good quest but they HIT HARD AS HEAK. so be carful and go for it.

you all are not going to believe this, but I went to buy food before killing off the a zombie sailor for the flesh, and low and behold, there was some for sale!!!! It cost 6PP and some change, but beats death and time was zilch. Word to the wise, check with the kitty merchant first!

just an avg necro here, after trouncing the sailors decided to cast sense undead to look for more victums and found some, Zombie Sailors and a Captain Verdokos(sp), out past the wreck close to shore, swam out there and didn't see anything on the bottom of the sea, anyone have any thoughts or seen some underwater tunnel entrances in the zone?

No way these guys are 10 to 11. They con blue but hit with the speed and power of a 14 or 16. Also, they tend to come in threes. My lvl 12 Erudin Mage and my friend of the same level lost both are lvl 12 pets and our lives to these guys. Thing the GM needs to do a rethink on these guys.

Well I was merrily walking on Kerra Isle with my level 13 warrior who is in full bronze and has a great weapon these undead !@#$ hit me i lose 100 hp wich doesnt happen alot.Luckily I was able to chop these guys in half.

I noticed that you all failed to add.. If you swimming skill SUCKS do not attempt to pull the Zombies not only do they cum 3 at a time but they SWIM like sharks! FAST, if your not good at swimming the STUN you and kick your butt under water!

GET THOSE WISPSS MAN!! and Greater Lightstones, also on this island. Very lucrative Quest in North karana at the Gypsy Camp. You can make a ton of plat man!!

These guys come 3 at a time, so be careful! They are found at the ship wreck just off the island. I pulled them on to the shore, where a small group can get good experience and loot. If you are haveing trouble finding where the shipwreck is, just shout, i am sure someone will show you the way (it is not that big of an island)!

These things drop good loot. I fought quite alot of them and they have dropped bronze weaopons, and raw-hide armor. Also, they almost always drop "zombie skin" or "zombie flesh" (cant remember what it is called) and that sold to the merchant for around 8 silver. So with the change they drop, their weapons, armor, and flesh, you should be getting a good supply of cash!

how many spawn and what is the spawn rate. I am looking for a good place to farm skins for Pottery and heard this was a good spot. I don't want to spend a lot of time to wait for respawns.

Agreed very good loot from these guys, and fair experience. I went from 14 to 16 rather quickly with this strategy. I am a Shaman, and have levitate, cast levitate (if you run out of bat wings kill the vampire bats, they drop loads), run out and circle the mast, they will start hitting you, run back to shore, attack, Spirit Strike...etc, they will soon be dead. Pretty good loot which includes Raw Hide Armor, sometimes Bronze Weapons, Zombie Skins and Flesh, and once in a while they Blurred Map, Qeynos Quest.
