Easily solo'd today by my 66 Necro.

I was completely unbuffed for the fight.

All I did was land my dots on him, and sat there lifetapping the rest of the fight.

He went down rather fast.

Used 50% of my mana.

Doable for a Ranger?
# Sep 08 2004 at 9:46 PM Rating: Decent
Is this soloable by a 62 Ranger EQ/AM3? About 5.2K HP buffed and 3.4K Mana? I Bow Crit now for around 800 with trueshot up, and with crappy arrows, gonna be EQ/AM3 in aobut a week though. And those numbers would increase to about 800-1K no TS and 1.5-2K with TS up, I could root rot him down and possible be out of his AE range, Possible?

doubtful...

Dragons summon. Unless you have your 1.3k heal (oow heal) and have an excessive amount of hp/mana ... maybe at lvl 70.

Dragon summons and debuff your hp buffs, ur Claivoiance, and ur SoE, which means less hp, mana, run speed.

IMO, it's not too possible to solo. Duo yes. Solo no. (but it doesn't hurt to ask)

Actually dragons ARE solo-able. They hit hard, and their spells are ***** to deal with. But it can be done. theres reports of esspecially shamans doing it. With their mana / health convertion spells. And uber enough gear(resists mainly) they can just go in and start ripping one up.

I solo this guy with my druid all the time, takes me about 15% of my mana with horse and no KEI or Voq and about 10% if sotw is up. These guys are chumps, 16k hp i think it is? A wizard could kill him if he had all those clicky shields they get up off of high end items.

Went to ww for first time lat night with a 60 necro, we droped them like flys. If you are new to zone the key to them are getting that debuff in than keeping adds off you, other than that there cake. A shaman with Toror could solo one np i think, will find out tonight P

I am pretty sure this level is incorrect (99% sure). I am wanting to say 53ish. We killed this guy several times last night and it is blue to me (I am Level 55).
It is on Claws of Veeshan faction as are most of the named dragons here. Seemed to use an Ice based attack that also drops one buff of yours.

Sounds like his Ice breath attack is the same as the one that Terror uses in PoF. I know his does somewhere in the neighborhood of 800 DD and also has a dispell effect.
I guess my question is, do the dragons have the same range with their AoEs as Fright does? His AoE range is absolutly huge, around 200 range from him.
