Boon of the Garou (Enc), Blast of poison (Shm) x3, and Enticement of flame (Wiz), Cantata of Soothing (Brd)x2, thats what I have had drop so far just waiting for spirit quickening, as a 54 shaman, slow send pet in and E-Bolt twice while I help tank and it's dead.

January 2005 - I have still been camping here sometimes trying to get spirit quickening, no luck. How ever it seems that the guardians NO LONGER drop the spells, I have been able to get the Ancient's to drop them though, this has been going on now for about 2 weeks. Hope this helps anyone looking for these spells.

Been sitting here for 7 hours trying to get Celestial Healing, with no luck. However, I did just get the Paladin lvl 39 spell Divine Purpose off of this thing.

The next day I go to these guys again and got a lvl 39 ShadowKnight spell: Shroud of Hate, and then finally got the Celestial Healing spell on the next cycle of the 2 Gaurdians. Total Camp time: 15 and a half hours.....buy it when you see it!

Hey all!, Just a quick note this one dropped the Celestial Healing spell for me today,I camped the crystaline wurms 6 hours with no luck so i decided to try my luck on these 30 min later dropped.These pair on a 13 min spawn cycle.
Also dropped Spell: Corporeal Empathy (2 times in a row). Nec 44.

Could a Druild lvl 46 solo these guys ? Do they reists Enveloping roots a lot you think ?

The guardian dropped this last night. Its NO DROP and has no stats other than weight. Obviously a quest item, but for what quest?

These things have 5k hps easily, hit for up to 120 and fast, plus they resist a lot and have the 150dd proc.
So to hunt these you will need a full group of ppl around lvl 40, and one that works well, a good strategy with these and the other shardwyrms is fearkiting since they don't run anywhere, you never get any adds, and you avoid their extreme dmg, so get a necro if you're going to hunt these.

Was killing these for about 4 hours last night with 39th ranger 45th shaman and a 51 necromancer and they do drop the cleric spell celestial healing also got the Mage/Wiz spell Elemental Malstrom and a Nec spell Corporial Empathy (I think)

I was fighting this the other night in GD. There are 2 that spawn in the room that you find if you follow the left wall of the cave. The Broodmother also spawns in the back of the room and will not aggro if you pull a guardien. They are on either side and have a very lower aggro radius so you can pull 1 at a time if you have cleared all the wandering wurms. They are tough, double attack for 115 and ALWAYS seem to drop a item. Took these out with 3 people: me (36sk), 35 mage, and a 39 cleric (complete heal is a must). Probibly have around 6-8k hps so its a long battle. They also have the Ice spell that all the wurms have 150dd. They Drop all sorts of spells and also all the normal loot for wurms. I also looted a Shardwurm Skin (13ac +4int casters, looks like leather)off one of these guys which I plan to use to sweeten a trade deal. Have Fun

Hehe, reading the post my sk buddy wrote (i'm the cleric) Well, we went back the next day to do a little more hunting here, good exp (got my level here) and pretty good loot. Really wanted to get a couple of those Shardwurm Eyes. We must have been really lucky that first day, because the guardians didn't drop anything this time, a complete reversal of the day before... heh, Verant must have noticed that they always dropped something ;) But anyways, these things are a blast to kill... I love crushing huge critters, being a dwarf and all :)

they also drop the magician spell, elemental:maelstrom. It dropped twice just a few days ago.

Go to Tower of Frozen Shadow. Found 3 so far in less than 5 hours camping. Seems to drop from 4th and up.
