soloed him last night, think he has around 60k health, doesnt hit too hard, i had a healer merc with me, never went below 70%, even though i pulled him with all 4 royal guard mobs too
He is correct, and not just sending people to their deaths... IF chamberlain krystorf is under the ice here, he WILL NOT return to the throne room. He is not supposed to be under the ice, but is bugged when he is there and unable to return.
I petitioned him, and after several hours it was escalated because the guide on wasn't allowed to touch him.
There were no other dwarves near him however, so it appears the 'long line' he referred to was simply other misplaced npc's.
So... if he's not up in the throne room, check under the ice... if he's down there, you'll either have to petition for him to be reset, or go under the ice yourself. Of course, I, personally, wouldn't risk handing a bugged npc something like a 7th shawl. Can't imagine losing it and having to start over.
Don't you just hate it when you read posts, and no one ever says where dude is? Pisses me off to know end, so I make a point to alway list exact location.
Well, this guy roams, so I will tell you where. First things, you will need Levi and Invis. You need to go up to the Dain's throne room, and there is a large ice tube (that you've seen on every floor since coming into the palace). You want to float down, do not run around on the way down, just allow yourself to float normally. Only one of the mobs sees through Invis, and is easily avoidable, it looks like a terror. Everything in the pit Golems, Terror, and Skele's were Dark Blue to me at 60.
Head through the cavern, away from the terror sitting up on the wall, and you will a little marching line of Royal Guardsmen, the leader of this little line of guardsmen is the Chamberlain himself. I assumed I would find his sorry butt in the throne room. Maybe he comes up there from time to time, but this is where I found him marching the troops.
Also, as you cross under the parapet heading towards the castle, if you stop halfway acros the bridge over the ice, and look to the left, underneath teh ice, you can see the little line of marching troops. So, it gives you a good idea of where you're going...just look at all the mobs through the ice. Like I said, only 1 sees through Invis. Don't know if they are static spawns, or if spawns rotate mob types when killed.
