This mob runs at 2%... what an odd percentage but hey, be prepared

We were just a little group, 3 lvl 80's boxed (sk, shm, clr) 78 clr, 74 necro, and a 68 warr. We took like 15 mins to get each dead. Theres 4 before you get to tunare. Beware, if you dont have some major dps, they take a long time. We parsed this mob at over 800k hp. Yeah lvl 65 and that much hp is nuts.

These little buggers are the really annoyance before Tunare fight. You had to clear out the entire plane, people are getting sleepy. And then you stun them with 10 minutes fights against mobs who have too many HPs. I am sure some of them fell asleep :)
BTW Lcea Katta has 500k HP, and I remember how long our fights agaisnt her were lasting. And the fight against those here, last WAY more. I suspect 1k5, maybe 2, millions HP.
If this thing had 100k it would go down very fast. I've helped in killing many many of these and my nukes don't move it down a percent and it takes like 10-20 seconds to move it down 1%. I believe these guys do have around 1mil hps because it sure does take about 10 minutes to kill one when we get 2 in camp at once which usually happens.
I heard these actually have 100k hps or so (maybe 150 as Tinieny so eloquently pointed out. However, they have some sort of absolutely insane regen which means you end up doing about 1 million in damage to kill them.
I suppose that's significant if you can bring a ton of burst dps and knock out 150k really fast.
Best guess is 1mil hp, and for our non NToV low dps guild took 20+ min a pop to take them out. Dropped nothing but plat. Red con to 65, so Level report here is off. Did not seem to be resistant to anything that was tossed at it.
Tunare dropped in half the time or less.
The one nice thing is their dps is pathetic. MoK/MoR is enough to keep most tanks healed.
And a last tip - you remember that annoying skeleton form Necro nuke that everyone hates? Chain cast it. You can actually see the little buggers during the fight that way.
Good time for the casters to work on melee skills if you get bored ;)
According to my parse doing a long and tedious PoG raid, this dang brownie from heck took 665k melee damage. This doesn't include procs or nukes, so the actual HP value is probably close to 1 million.
WE HAD A 57 ENCH 55 BST 52 WARR 52 CLER AND A 50 WIZ..BEAT ON MOB FOR 25 MIN AND 15 ch ON TANK AND HAD TO EVAC AS MOB HAD 87 PERCENT HEALTH LEFT..SO YES I WOULD SAY 1MILLION hp IS VERY CLOSE
Just killed it tonight with one group. A 60 monk, a 58 warrior(me) 59 enchantress, 59mage, 59 cleric 55 warrior, and a shammy I forget what level he was and a 57 (i think) bard. Anyways, it does have around 1 million hps, took us about 1hr to kill it. Cleric and Enchie went through tons of mood rods. Luckily practically the whole zone was clear before we pulled it. We pushed it around allmost the whole zone while we were wacking at it. And guess what it droped? 13 freaking platinum! LOL
Sadl, not knowing what I was really doing as one of the pullers in our raid, I pulled not one, but two of the four "a thifling focuser"s back to our raid group. The grumblings began as soon as my message "/gu Hey everyone here is a %T coming to the party. Twice. Little did I know that having 2 of these 1 million hp mobs in the camp at once was going to create. Not sure about the million part, but it took a raid buffed group of 35people split tanking these 2 mobs about 22 minutes to kill these chapos. (first was 17mins with raid groups 1-3 on him while group 4 was the supporting effort to maintain the aggro until the first one was killed)
Not listed on here is the matter of loot. Both mobs dropped a cleric 45 AC BP -- with additional stats that I do not recall, and a Mark of karn 9.0 sec right click effect. The 2 clerics were most pleased, although the rest of the raid sighed as a third cleric proclaimed he wanted one too. Needless to say, I was not suprised when a third one of these appeared in the camp somehow before we killed Tunare ...
Personally I think the third cleric who wanted the BP pulled it myself, but it was a fun break prior to pulling the guardians... another tale in the making
Killed a few of these things last night when clearing Tunare's tree. They sometimes even drop plat! The looter wouldn't share with the rest of the playground, though. :(

We logged one fight on one of these. ~850,000 dmg recorded. Thats just visible melee damage shown with others hits on. That doesn't count all the nukes, procs, damage shields, etc.
1,000,000 hp is about right. They suck.
Last fight I did over 16k damage just with my JBB, got 65 casts off, yes its that long of a fight.
I think this mob has a lot more then 32k HPs ... our guild was fighting him yesterday with 16 ppl or so and it took us 40 mins or more till we had him down... his max hit was aroung 200 i think... he was very easy to slow...
My guild of 25 people all 55+ had to retreat from this guy, he has EASILY got 1 million hit points, we pounded on his ass for 15 mins before the leader gave the order to retreat.

Posted:Sep 06 2001 at 6:28 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) you are crazy, the max HP a mob can have is 32,000 if you set off magic fx, you can't see his complete heal...
Actually, that was a restriction limited to Kunark and Old world mobs.
Velious mobs (i.e. 350 Dain - roughly 200k hps, 425 Dain - roughly 400k hps) Have MUCH more than 32,000 hps. Trust me, it is possible. Just takes more of the needed classes to win out against "uber" velious mobs.
350 Dain and 425 Dain have the same amount of HP's. The difference is that 425 dain is more likely to chew threw your nukers/rogues/monks and whatnot after a tank dies/banished so the fight is longer.
A million? Well, that might be a bit of a stretch but I did hear in the area of 750k once apon a time when LoS was still doing PoG. Sheesh, they are killable but the idea of fighting something the size of a faerie for 30+ minutes is not much fun. You would think they would drop something interesting at least =p
If you must clear the plane then they gotta die, otherwise stay the hell away from the little critters.
we did this little fugger today... completely unprepared for it, took us about 45 mins. he cant land hits very well, but when he hits, theyre normally 200+.
This bastid has MUCH more than 200k hp. Treah is around 200k hp. The thing that makes this one a bugger is he's sooooo freakin small, skellie him to make him bigger helps.
