Can a person reasonably take on Tormax and both guards? I'm thinking about trying with an 82 RNG and maybe a cleric mercenary.

Yeah, obviously depends on how you are geared. But with merc and such, you should be fine. My ranger at 80, was able to solo, Vindi...Now with mercs should be cake.

Are you guys sure Tormax's guards are 66? They sort of con red to me at 65...
