Captain Bvellos

In Kael Drakkel: This fellow wanders from the Arena to the Bank, and then from the Bank to the Kael Quest Armor NPCs behind Tormax's throne room. He is a Paladin; summons; and is immune to stuns.

I am not 100% sure it was him, cause we wasted some other giants aswell, and I wasn't looting, but we got Runed Circlet (Permafrost) and Crystaline Belt (Crystal Caverns) off that giant.
I haven't been into Kael at all yet, but when I am apprehensive I will turn in the Dorf Heads I have been collecting. I assume this guy is either a Kromzek or Kromrif otherwise this quest would be too hard to do to raise King Tormax faction.

He is on the storm giant faction, Kromzek I believe. You can turn heads into him at dubious. I went from dubious to apprehensive after turning in 6 coldain heads. Great boost.

You can also turn in heads to him if you are KOS, provided you do it invis, since invis = Indifferent faction. (did it lat night)

We just dropped him today, and he was wielding this piece.
Important to mention: it procs on the wielder.
Guess it is a quest item, otherwise not worth killing him for this thing

My group of a level 51 enchanter, shaman, warrior, and wizard, and a level 47 cleric saw Captain Bvellos at the zone, and he conned yellow. We'd been regularly taking out yellow giants deeper inside, but I guess because he's a quest NPC you need to effectively add three levels or so to get his actual strength.
The shaman hit him with Turgurs as I Tashania'ed with my enchanter. Turgurs didn't stick. He then proceeded to pound the crap out of the shaman for thinking about slowing him while our warrior desperately tried to taunt him off and the cleric chain healed. He doubles for 250, and kicks for another who knows how much. Ouchies. We all made it to zone except the warrior, who was repeatedly summoned and died in place.
We *might* have been able to handle him if the warrior had tanked and the cleric instantly cast CH on her, while the rest of us sat on our hands. If the warrior had enough hate built up we might have had a chance to get our spells off without being permanently at the top of the hate list, esp if Turgur's had stuck.

The problem with taunt is you can't taunt anything that's higher then you and you have little chance to taunt a even con. The only ones you can effectively taunt with the taunt skill are blues. This is why your warrior couldn't taunt him off.

We had 2 groups of 45-53 at the zone and pulled Bvellos there. He is 100% harder if he has the glowing black sword because he procs it and strips any debuffs you put on him (slow)
We got him down to about 20% and then had to zone as we had lost the bard that was keeping an add under control, and I had died (chanter) and Bvellos kept healing himself.
We are gonna get him though
