Took him down tonight with 60 rogue <waves> heya Calsta, 52 cleric (smiles) nice job on heals Eliahnu, And me 57 ranger.

yeah i cant spell when typing in a rush, anyway he dropped group TL, so we went to kael to camp the arena with a couple more people.

I took me and a couple of buddies to SS to kill this guy as a test (far too easy to get to on CoV ally faction >) ).
Group was Me (55 warrior), 52 warrior, 53 mage, 52 cleric and a 50 chanter at the zone cause he was kos (just a crack / haste ***** hehe).
Walked upto the statue, cleric FM and big made pet made. I was fully cleric buffed with Mage DS and chanter SLTW.
I hit defensive, started beating on the statue, then warrior asssited, and mage pet. About half way through a cube came as an add, but the mage pet kept that busy.
Statue died, cleric had 1.5m left, so the morale of the story is:
If you know what you are doing you can gimp anything with a tiny group ;)

This guy hits for 170, rampages and is 100% MR except lures. He is doable with one group but the warrior needs defensive to tank him without dieing hehe

He can hit a bit harder than that... He was hitting me for 182 last night. Also, he's not 100% MR. He can be MR debuffed and then slowed, snared, etc.
And you don't need a warrior; my level 50 ogre SK (backed by a group of similar level) did fine against the level 54 version of this mob.

Last night about 12 of us, only 3 over 50 and most low to mid 40s took this guy out. We lost 4 in the process but was not overly hard other than the fact that he has alot of hps and rampages. I think he rampaged 5 times in the fight.
He dropped nothing for us.. not even a copper.

This guy conned yellow to our 56shaman and then preceded to drop spell translocate and improved super camo. thus lvl 57, everything we fought up to the second wyvern room was blue to 59enc.

He drops several spells, his lvl range is up to 55 he conned yellow to me at lvl 54 but blue to a 56.

Best thing so far was a pair of normal diamonds. We killed this thing about 20 times last weekend. Has a fast respawn time and a cartload of HPs, but isn't that tough for 2 lvl 50+ groups...

enchant velium quest npc?

There's no such thing. The person who wrote this wrote it BEFORE Enchant Velium (the spell) was in the game. At that time, people thought it was a spell recieved as the result of a quest. It was later revealed that Verant made a mistake and didn't put the spell in the game. There is no quest for the spell, Enchant Velium.
