AoE is a ***** - does about 500 damage AND has a chance to dispell one of you buffs. It's not a spell so you can't mana sieve them away, its a proc like the dry bone skeleton's fire.

Sitting with my usual 110 cold resist (unbuffed and not in pvp gear) one did about 1/2 - 1 bub damage to me...which is nasty
