This actually conned dark blue to my level 3 ranger so I think they were level 2 bunnies that I saw. Not that this makes a difference to most people fighting in the zone since it's just a green little thing.

There don't appear to be snow bunnies anymore, all I see in EW are 'a frost bunny'. The meat still works for shawl quest, but I'm wondering if they're placeholders for the snow griffons anymore? I've killed a bunch and haven't seen any griffons show up on my ranger friends tracking. Anyone else notice this?

If your hunting for bunny meat for the shawl, the best place to find these is along the edge of the zone due north of Rygorr Keep. They are a set of buildings with a few giants and some mercs that lay down in a vally, the flat land at the top of the hill behind these building is some sort of happy bunny playground. Was there and saw no less than 3 in any direction I turned.

is this quest for real , i can not find anything about it anywher. all that i see is what is posted hear , what the hell i will give it a try and see if that guy is full of it , it just sounds to good to be true , a weapon of that magnatude !! if it dose exsiste will then i have a new wepon if not i just wasted my time ,

Ok -- I've been trying off and on to find a spot in EW where these things breed, well, like rabbits. I occasionally find some near the zone in from GD. Does anyone have suggestions for better locations? Are Ulthorks and rabbits on the same spawn table (as the very first post suggests)?

This guy is just the PH for the Giant Tainted Snow Bunny. Lvl 55 Shadowmonkromancer. Can't be stunned, resist like nothing you've seen. Has a skeletal duck as a pet. Quads for 200, summons, DTs every 2 minutes, and has a nasty 1200hp lifetap.
When you kill da wabbit, it drops the Magic Helmet of Fudd:
MAGIC ITEM LORE ITEM NO DROP
Slot: Head
Modifiers: -20% Sense Heading (should have taken a left turn at Albuquerque)
AC: +20

Ok listen up. I've done the Holy Hand Grenade quest and it is a success. This is how it goes:
Go to EW, and around 110,-789, you should stumble upon a trap, which appears to be a frozen bush.
You look around the bush and find a party of knights.
There are 3 knights here. Their names are Tim, Arthur, & Robin. Hail Tim and he says this.
Tim says,'Shh there! And fix our bush! Were trying to hide from...... it....'
Robin says,'What Tim means is that IT is a rabbit and-'
Tim says,'SHHH!!! That name isin't sacred here! It devoured Boris!'
Arthur says,'Like Robin was tring to say, this rabbit overthrew our party of 4. We were told that this rabbit was a foul beast that lived in some cave not far from right here. We didnt think it was a rabbit when the king told us what it was. We ventured into the caverns, Robin soiled himself, this rabbit devoured Boris, our friend, and we ran out over here. We've been hiding ever since. We were told to use the [Holy Hand Grenade] to kill the rabbit, but it was too late.'
Tim says,'Poor Boris! He was too foolish! He didn't listen to my warning!'
Tim mourns over the loss of Boris.
You say,'What Holy Hand Grenade?'
Arthur says,'Well the Holy Hand Grenade is supposed to be the only weapon that can destroy the rabbit. You have to throw it at the right time, but if you dont throw it right, the rabbit may have an easy target. If you want, I can give it to you, but you must [vanquish the Rabbit] first.'
You say,'I will vanquish the Rabbit.'
Tim says,'You speak foolishly, young one! Noone can vanquish the rabbit!'
Arthur says,'Let him try Tim.'
Robin says,'Well, I have an Extra Holy Hand Grenade left. I can give it to you. Take this, and vanquish the Rabbit. Quckly hurry!'
At this point, you find the ultimate weapon:
The Holy Hand Grenade. Magic, No Drop, Lore
Stats are 10 to all stats & SV.
Dmg 999 Dly 0
Effect: Halluyah

Robin says,'To activate the Holy Hand Grenade, you must..... well..... Count to three, leave out 2, and in it's place put the the # after 3. The Holy Hand Grenade should activate and vanquish the creature.'
Tim says,'Quiet, the rabbit's cave is just south of here, if it hears us plotting, It'll vanquish US!'
A few feet away from the cowardly adventurers is a small cave. You have to duck or get a shrink to enter (Halflings and shorter dont have to duck to enter). Once inside, crawl for a few more feet, then the caves get bigger. Go forward until you reach the bones of four horses, then you should see 3 caves, and a pair of footprints heading for the one to the right. Follow the cave until you reach a large room. This is the Rabbit's Lair. Once you enter, there should be a trap.
You step into the room, and a small rabbit crawls out of a hole.
Now it's just a normal snow bunny currently, but wait 5 seconds. You should see another trap.
The rabbit approaches as a sense of fear overcomes you. If you dont throw the grenade now, it will attack. It does a hefty 1750 dmg max, so you could die quite quick. Follow the riddle that Robin told you. I did this (Be sure to target the rabbit)
You say,'One'
You say,'Four'
You say,'Three!'
Your Holy Hand Grenade starts to shake.
Holy Hand Grenade says,'HALLEYUA!'
Now a large sparkle flies from you to the rabbit.
A Snow Bunny has been hit by non-melee for 5000 damage!
A Snow Bunny has been hit by non-melee for 5000 damage!
A Snow Bunny has been hit by non-melee for 5000 damage!
A Snow Bunny was hit for non-melee for 90000 damage!
A Snow Bunny feels the true power of the Holy Hand Grenade!

You say,'I used the Holy Hand Grenade'
Boris says,'That means.....you have spoken to the others! Please [escort] me to them, if you can.'
You say,'I will escort you.'
Boris, exited, squeals, then says,'Great, let's go!'
It's an easy escort to do. There is barely anything on the path but maybe the occasionaly Ry'Gorr or Frost Giant. Escort him over to the knights, then get your great present.
Tim says,'Boris! Your alive!'
Robin says,'Well, throw me a Snow bunny, your ok!'
Arthur says,'Amaizing! But how?'
Arthur begins to cast a spell
Boris says,'This brave adventurer used the Holy Hand Grenade to kill the rabbit and-'
Boris is completely healed.
Arthur says,'No I meant how did you survive te rabbit.'
Boris says,'It chewed me a few times, didn't like my taste, and threw me into a pile of rocks.'
Tim says,'Oh.'
Robin says,'Well, congradulations Nindail. You killed the rabbit, rescued our friend, and saved us also. But I wonder what happened to the rabbit.'
I handed Robin the pelt.
Robin says,'Oh my! The Holy Hand Grenade blessed the rabbit's fur! And it slaughtered the rabbit into a billion pieces! Wow! Here you go. I think it may be useful. It can create Holy Hand Grenades once every 5 hours. Enjoy! C'mon guys, let's go.'
All four of the knights despawn now, and in your inventory slot, you find something odd, but great.

Effect: Summon Holy Hand Grenade.
The grail is a right click to summon a Magic, Lore, No Drop, No rent copy of the Holy Hand Grenade.
Awesome quest, you can solo it all, no min or max lvl (All you need to do is get to the Knights & bunny). Out of 1 to 5, I give this quest a 17.

Is there any truth to these supposed tails of the killer lvl 5 bunnies? I've heard tails from my brother but the bunnies i run accross barely hit be for 14 when they land a hit. Someone please clarify.

Greetings everyone, my name is Qulitos Bunnyhunter, leader and creator of the guild Snow Bunny Hunters in the Quellious server.
I have posted this to warn everyone of the vicious nature of these diabolical creatures. They may look cute but they have taken over whole towns and brutally murdered the townspeople and drug the children out into the cold winter land to freeze to death!
If you see one of these KILL THEM! You will only do good by ridding the world of yet another Snow Bunny, please do not let them get away! DEATH TO THE SNOW BUNNIES!!!!

i refuse to believe you all cause im a 37 dru on a pk server and i blasted one with combust and killed it in one blast thats right one blast
Oh c'mon, please don't say you really believed a tiny rabbit could hurt you which is why you soiled your armor at the site of it, bet you had you nukes set up for uber damage too, after you rooted and snared it and ran like a pansy just incase it had spirit of rabbit or something :0)

I personally think these things are the ugliest sons of mothers I've ever laid eyes on. No, I'm not just saying that because they all ganged up on me and killed me. They've got sharp pointy teeth. Those rabbits are dynamite. But anyway, they're fugly and I'm going to maul and eat every single one I see. Until they're extinct. Oh yeah, they smell bad too. Dang bunnies.

As a lvl 56th druid, I was walking through EW, looking for good mobs for loot on track, when my track spots a snow bunny. Im thinking "Hmm..... bunnies in Velious. I better check this out. Sides, the PoG raid isint for 3 RL hours" So I go check this bunny out. About 3 were in a pack, traveling to it seemed Kael Drakkal. Since I've never saw one b4, I shout out what lvl they are. The average was lvl 5. I was bursting out of my seat (And almost broke my arm!) and since their puny lvl, I decide to kill the 1 that looks like he's guiding the rest. Hit him once, they all aggro.

The Snow Bunnies just began to swarm all around me! Then the chief came. He's a lvl 62 Wizzie that hits for 500 and casts a damn powerful DD. The snow bunnies just hit for 300-320.
About a few days later, me and a group come to EW to kill the chief. I dinged 56 (Back) from a 100% rezz a cleric gave me that was on his way to a raid on ToV, dinged 57 and 58 at the raid, dinged 59 in Kael in a raid, and dinged 60 in WW. We killed a few snow bunnes and lo and behold, the Chief was waiting. He conned yellow to me, and we attacked. LOng fight. He kept doing that DD and we discovered that he also does a DoT for 900 in 20 ticks. Our Cleric kept complete healing us and the Snow Bunny oracles kept healing the chief. After a gruesome battle, the chief went down. We took out the oracles and the remaining bunnies that aggoed. Od message once we killed chief:
Snow Bunny Chief is struck by the wrath of the gods.
Assiphir has slain Snow Bunny Chief!
Your faction with The Snow Bunnies of Eastern Wastes cannot get any worse.
Dropped about 10pp and a suit of mail:
Snow bunny chain mail
All stat and SV increase by 10.

All the jocular posts about this rabbit hitting for amazing amounts, and whatnot, I only wish they were true. Anyone who would be willing to attack such a cute, defenseless creature should be punished for their cruelty. Ah, so it goes.

ok this mob is the hardest mob int the entire game he has about 1000k hp and he lays hands every 20 minutes he has root unresistable fear Every godamtime and when sleeper woke up he came into zone and got murdered by snow bunny. and anyway the snow bunny started yelling "the age of all others is passed! The bunnies shall rule all! Get me a f*cking carrot now!"

That's not a direct quote from the movie... they never say "Attack of the killer bunny rabbit" as far as I know, and I own the movie. It is the greatest movie of all time though

I took that slash as I was running by it. Guess I was running to fast, b/c i missed. My guess is, it landed the hit b/c my back was turned.
Weird thing was, ever since then, I have been hunting these things down. But none have hit me for more the 14 since then. My guess it, that particular bunny was a special spawn of some sort

One day fighting Walruses, I heard someone yelling for help. I turn the indicated direction and see an iskar monk running at me. He promptly ran up to me and feigned death. I conned him at red so I do a /who on him. lvl 60. I couldnt quit laughing. Made my day

while camping the ulthorks my friend and i noticed that not long ago the place was over run by those nasty walrus, but now there were none to be seen. Checking my track i couldn't help but notice an abundance of these little critters, how quickly they do breed. Anyways we killed as many as we could find and before long the ulthorks started poping again. Since then whenever i the zone is not overcrowded and there are no ulthork to kill, these little rascals must die.

A cold wind blew through his hair as he looked over the frozen landscape. The sky was gray with clouds, and a light snow was falling. He shielded his eyes with a gloved hand, more out of habbit than necesity, and spoke to his companion. "Krylar, would you mind coming over here?"
A giant bear lumbered next to him. It turned akwardly and asked in a deep voice, "What's going on, Sars?"
The man called Sars pointed off into the distance. "See that over there?"
Krylar squinted in the indicated direction. "Maybe... aye, there's somthing other than snow over there, I'm sure of it."
Sars nodded. "I think we may have found it. Ok then, lets move out!" He and Krylar ran toward the thing in the distance, followed closely by a wolf.
Finally, after being waylaid several times by giants, they were close enough to cleary see their quarry. "Alright," said Sars when they were a few hundred feet away. "You and Jenober wait here."
"Vibeker." Krylar replied.
"What?"
"The puppy's name is Vibeker, not Jenober."
"I could've swarn the wolf's name was Jenober."
"Oh, that was the last one. He was green to me."
"And Jenober isn't?"
"Right"
"I see... anyway, you and the dog wait here. I'll be right back." Sars stalked slowly along the ground. He knew he had to be careful, or he would scare away his prey. He slowly drew his sword. He had to time it perfectly. Careful... careful...
"Eh, whats up dock?"
Sars jumped. Who had said that? He looked around, trying to find the source of the words... and finally felt a tugging at his legging. Looking down, he saw a small rabbit. He figured it was just an enchanter. "Be quiet! I'm hunting rabbits!"
"Rabbits?" said the gnome (it had to be a gnome, what other race could be that small?) "I saw one over there." It gestured with its carrot.
"Thanks, I owe you one." He stalked off and came upon a ridge. "It must be down here... CHARGE!" Sars yelled, jumping down with his sword drawn.
"What the????? Sars, what in Justice's name are you doing?????" asked Krylar.
Sars looked down to see a rather irate Konobab nipping at his leg.
"Sorry about that, Kry- hey, what happened to Vibeker?"
"I wanted to practice my conjure"
"Oh. Anyway, we'd better move on. I think that enchanter killed our rabbit and didnt want to fess up."
"Yah, stupid enchanters. Alright, c'mon doggy!"
They began to move on, when a thought struck Krylar. "Uh, Sars?"
"Yea, Krylar?"
"Why're we hunting green bunnies if we arent doing a shawl quest?"
"Cause we're drunk off our asses."
"Oh. I forgot."
It watched them as they left. "There's a lesson in all this, people. Friends dont let friends play EQ while drunk (or post on these boards, for that matter). That's all folks!"

It was horrible but true. I was a Shaman of a mere 45th level then, but it is burned in my mind forever. Hunting by the Iceclad bridge in velious .. "safe" things like Tundra Kodiaks with giant fangs, brutal Tundra Mammoths, and Orcs with big sharp swords. I saw 2 bunnies sitting by the bridge, upon closer inspection I saw they were named!
"Uh oh!"
My poor pet wolf was shredded to ribbons, and I barely made it to the zone. They were Killer Bunny and Terror Bunny, demonspawn to be sure! After I reformed myself and called another wolf pet I shouted to the zone for allies against the snow bunny menace.
"Why are they laughing at me?"
Well, after a lot of running and about 12 other people dying (not me thankfully), we finally formed a group and hunted them down as they menaced the groups at the orc fort. Success! We killed them, and they left us a nightshade wreath on each corpse! Ahhh, a job well done, back to hunting.
"Did you just hear bunny footsteps?"
They were back! But it was Horror Bunny and Killer Bunny now!
Horror Bunny had SoW and Rooted anything that moved, not to metion the 255 point DD spells. We were able to kill Killer Bunny, but had to run from Horror Bunny (despite having a 53rd level shaman with us named Babs). Killer Bunny and Terror Bunny were warriors that quad hit for 130 each pop.
What an odd GM event aye? BTW These were all 45th level GM controlled Bunnies (They would charge after you when you started casting a spell! EVIL!).

I've read all about the Holy Hand Grenade and the Grail Quest. What lvl do I need to be to do these and what are the stats on the grenade? Is it all/all?

Is there any way to improve my bunny faction? Is that what the Coldain Carrots are used for? Why would a cute little snow bunny scowl at me? I never killed one until they aggroed me. It was horrible. Maybe it was a Rabid Snow Bunny, or an Enraged Snow Bunny.
