I've been here off and on for 48 hours. Cleared zone twice. No drops. I'm going to /feedback that this part of the epic shouldn't take longer than all the other parts.

Sorry to say, but 2 days off and on is not that much time. I know you don't like waiting around for drops, but this is the epic ... the one great equalizer is time sink ... specially with the lvl of equipment today.
Found several up this morning and killed them all. Now its this evening and still none repopped. I friend said someone likely came here while I was offline and got em all but it sure looks like they either dont repop but once a day or the wolves, bears, etc are the PH for the horses.

Does anything exist here? I've been here for hours and all I've seen is protectors. That's it, that's all. Gotta be bugged

do these things exist?!?! i ran my 85 ranger around the whole zone with track up and didnt see a single one! beginning to think this zone is bugged...
i cleared PoG twice now looking for this hair..am yet to find it..

how long does it take for zone to repop? cleared last nite and no hair, any1 know exact hours?

Well took like 10 minutes to find one .. i found a white one didnt drop was green con i soloed easy then found black one like 3 seconds after and he droped it so took like 5 minutes when i found first white horse and easliy soloed im 10.3khp and 2.3 ac unbuffed and had buffs was 13.5k hp and 2.5 ac when i did it

The brown ones seem to be druid and cast druid spells.
The Black ones are strait warriors no spells.
The White one seem to cast paladin spells.

killed ALL horses in PoGrowth two times without luck. Third attempt was successful.
If plan to solo there, try to have better gear/level than I have: 67 SK ~7500HP
You will always get 2 "Protectors of Growth" which are much tougher then the horses. So break its spawn first:
- zone in invised,
- run to wall,
- dropp invis and wait for the 2 Protectors.
- kill only one then FD and wait ~10 Mins.
With that preparation you will only get one Protector as add, which you should dispatch first!
Other important things:
- Protectors always summon
- most other mobs summon too, but depends on its level
- even a tunare druid/cleric can help you without ruining his/her faction:
- bind in PoGrowth
- dont group with him/her,
- he/she heals you during battle, but gates/succors in time!
- better bring evil friends as BST, SHM and so on.

well, supposidly these are shadowknight 1.5 epic mobs now, drop Loch of Blessed Unicorn Hair.
I've been camping growth for awhile for it and have cleared the horses of the zone 2 times now and have not seen the drop yet.

from what is said, it appears only the WHITE version drops the Hair.

I've never been to POG. It's an outdoor zone is there anyway a skilled 54 necro could solo one of these using Fear kiting control or is the creature too resistant and area too crowded?

How much of a faction hit do you take on these ?
I mean I have to take a hit of faction of my own people (Im a Ranger Woodelf Tunare follower by the way)to get this spell ?? If i camped it, id never be able to go home again.

Faction hits in PoG are huge, about 5 kills will get you close to KoS from amiable. So wi ould say max 7 or 8 to go fully kos.
Muffins in FP will get you back all faction except protectors faction (PoG faction) but no real problem there unless you want to do any quests there.

Some are paladins, yes, but I also fought some that are ranger and druids.

Can a 60 rogue solo them? No info on group size in the thread.
No idea, but a 62 mage can kill em pretty easy. The air pet stops casting, as I thought they didn't cast. Drops a gem every kill, although I have not seen any armour drops in 15 or so kills of these.

These aren't that tough to Mezz...55 Bard could do it fine, so I don't think there MR is that high. Shammy didn't get slow resisted much, if any, either.

Was a PoG raid last night, we were killing hese guys for the last 2 hours of the raid, i got lucky and he dropped boots and gloves of the bonecaster. They aslso drop wiz, enchanter, war, and BST armor. Also rare gems, spell, and good money sell loots, ruby crowns, mithril amulets, ect.
