Tunare  

Give me a fn break.
You kill tunare similiar to the same way you killed innoruuk with a bunch of lvl 50s in indocolite and yks only now you got better resists and gear to be able to take the punishment and ressing for a long fight.

Tunare probably has 1 million hps. This sounds like a very large number to you guys but you have to realize something...

If you can deal damage and keep yourself healed without effectively losing mana, then you can kill anything... just takes time. This is the way you will see The Sleeper killed, this is the same way you will see Bristlebane killed.

You also have to realise that Tunare will either be slowable or have lower hps than estimated.

Death touches will be dealt with by clerics with epic weapons standing just out of range to run in and click res the fallen comrades 30 seconds after they drop.

The biggest problem you will see is going to be that everything that has not been killed will zonewide agro, including the usual protectors of growth.

I estimate that people will kite any guardians for the duration of the fight while the majority of the masses are concentrating on tunare. Only time will tell, but I'm pretty sure this is the way it will go down.

Gather 'round my little chitlins', and hear a tale of how Dragons of Hope of E Marr server took down Tunare.

Well we took Karai, our paladin to the server. Being 46 she was great help.

We brought Mikespice Wonderpimp, our 46 cleric.

Finally we brought our gear...

Gear you will need:

-An orc hatchet (orc pawns in Gfay)
-Printed out copy of all the stories of people who have claimed to kill Tunare.

Now, while Karai climbed the tree, Mikespice climbed in the back of the tree house through the bathroom window. We had a rogue help pick the lock.

Well I sat in front of Tunare and began to read the posts to her.

She started laughing...

I read more...

She was laughing harder...

I kept reading...

She was howling with laughter, gasping for air!

Suddenly Mikespice snuck up behind her and belted her in the back of the head with the blunt side of the orc hatchet.

Then loot; repeat if you like our strategy.

Personally, I am a druid of Tunare, so I wouldn't pull her, but I understand there may be some evil races that might want to. I would suggest putting out a shout....Something like Monty Python:
"Hey Tunare, Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelled of elderberries."
or if that doesn't work, climb the tree, hail her and make your move:
"Hey baby, your parents must've been retarded, 'cause you're sooooo special.", then run like the wind.

I laugh at any who tries to kill this Goddess, finally a "God" is really a God, Tunare kicks ***** Im thinking about 5 guilds, with at least 20 60's will take this one down if they can,.. a mulicast of Sunstrike or Ice comet perhaps... Good luck

Killing Tunare can and has been done. Verant has done a good job balancing the classes versus the mobs. Read on if you want to try this.

A week ago my guildies, The Deathknights of Brell, got tired killing Coldains, Dragons, snow bunnies and dating the Frost Giant gals. We'd heard of this 'treehugger plane' and decided to go take a look. Who knows? Maybe we might find something interesting.

As we roamed the plane swatting at Treants, Pumas and other assorted miscellanea we came across this treehouse with some babe named Tunare in it. After a moment of stunned silence, followed by a respective chorus of, "Whoa, It's their god or something," we proceeded with our plan to take Her down.

First, we sent our Gnome monk up the tree to pass her a few quick slaps and then jump down. It worked, he slapped, jumped, she followed, he died before he hit the ground. But he knew it was dangerous when he took the assignment. Here's to you, Droodmuncher.

Next, our Woodelf Cleric cast Tashani on the god to lower It's magic resistance. It's unresistable and our cleric loves that spell (we have to keep her humored for her rez). Anyway, with the Tunare's magic resistance lowered, we prepared to open up on her with all we got.

Noticing that She was about to cast, our Iksar Paladin ran up and successfully Bashed her. We got off our spells without resists. I cast my shadowknight dot, Fiery Brew of Brell (1300 dmg over 30 secs). Our Troll druid managed to Ensnare, Barbarian necro cast something that made her look like a bouncing skele (love that spell) and our High Elf warrior engaged it with his Ghoulbane.

The tanks knew that they'd probably die and they did within a few rounds but we kept up the barrage of chain casting. Since we knew our tanks would probably die, our Cleric used her mana on blasting with Smite instead of healing. Our Dwarf Enchanter continued to debuff and stun, and I sent my summoned Bear pet in. Once we'd done sufficient initial damage, our Ogre wizard began chain casting Ice Comets (most took but expect one or two resists).

After a couple of minutes of very hard casting, Tunare was about half down, our tanks were dead and we were running low on mana. Thinking quickly our enchanter cast Charm on one of her guards and sat down to med.

Eventually, we managed to kill her. I have to admit, it wasn't an easy fight. 3 dead and 4 alive. But the trick is to keep her snared, keep bashing her so she can't cast, expect your tanks to die and above all else, get your necro to cast that bouncing skele spell.

It would be nice to see her die once just to see what she drops but gods are getin too freekin powerfull and i personaly will never kill Bristlebane because why would you wana kill your own god it mite get pissed at you and make you kos to everyone or some sort of outcast.

Well mabe on second thought what better way to prove your power than kill them. Of corse why worship them when you can kill them so i dono.
