Went up tonight to PoG tonight with a Cleric friend of mine (just sight-seeing). After hailing the Guardian of the Tarkish, my friend replies that he "is a Templar". The Guardian then tells him that four idols need to be brought back to him from certain giants in Kael (or was it WL?).
Anyone have any information about this? All I see is the Paladin quest. Info would be greatly appreciated ;)

well we just killed him and he was very hard to kill. Took 20-30minutes, a few rez's and alot of twitching between the necros and clerics. Like it was said, he dropped nada...well he dropped a drink of water) The armor was not cool looking unless you like that post-apocalyptic euro-punk rocker look. All in all it was quite cool.

YES! This is a QUEST NPC.. the quest is called the Corrupter of Life and is a PALADIN quest which results in a Paladin only 2hs called Nature's Defender.. possibly the awesomest looking 2 hander I have ever seen. Check this out..

He is not 54-55 eehe he cons RED to 60th heheeh, and was very hard to get him down. XP is a PoS, no loot just 7 golds, 8 silver and 7 copper. BAH

Check Tunare's loot table and then think about how she calls everyone to her aid when she is aggroed. You have to kill him and clear the entire plane before engaging.
I doubt anyone really goes up to PoG and kills this guy just for the heck of it, but hey, some ppl might be twisted like that

Quest NPCs do not drop loot or why bother doing the quest when you can just kill him? Verant isn't that stupid and made him 60+ for a reason, so that idiots like you wouldn't kill him for loot when others would actually like to quest and not have them dead when they go up to PoG. I hope they make quest NPCs hit for 2000 like that halfling in plane of sky so people like you can get their asses whipped.

The armor loses all scale in the pic. That armor is giant-sized, simply humongous.

There are mobs that look like this (sentient suits of armor) in Wakening lands that drop Sentient armor. Its nice SK only stuff that gives INT bonuses and nice AC. It looks blood red. I am wearing the BP and Vambraces. I want the boots...

Too bad the majority of paladins cant use this. You have to follow tunare... nice for the 1 or 2 per server who chose this diety though.
