Spent several hours doing the named cycle here and this one was the most common.. Spawned every 2-3 named. Book was semi common drop.
For those of you who may wonder what the named cycle is, it's a number of named mobs that are placeholders for each other. Here's the list:

It would be "or something". I killed him twice today and he did not have the book either time.

He dropped this pretty rare, but somewhat useless druid spell for me today. Nice to have the spell as i wouldn't have shelled out the pp to buy one.
Killed him with about 60mana left with KEI at lvl 54...no resists on root, so was pretty easy from a druid standpoint.

as the other anon said.. This guy isn't 49 50. Conned blue always at 50 and besides, he's a wuss for a lvl45+ mob.
Hitpoints on par with a mature wurm. Longer fight than I expected, but not too difficult at 54 (necro class). No spell drop when I got him, alas. Tough competing for the named mobs when I have tracking druids all over.

Just got MoK off this guy today. So you can add that one to its list of spell drops
it says Transon's Elemental Infusion drops off this guy but he is in kunark and Transon's Elemental Infusion is a luclin dropped spell.

one thing about these drakes is that the bile is used by rogues for poison, this is one of the easier named mobs, few times i killed him he did not drop anything

Also can drop random spells, dropped some crappy Wiz/Mag spell though for me :( Some upgraded eye of zomm type spell..yuck

Rage of Zomm -- Nothing like eye of zomm, more like the cleric spell that summons a fighting hammer. Pet will rage against enemy its killed...then poof.

While hunting in Skyfire Mountain, this Drake rudely interrupted my view of the the beautiful landscape that I was admiring. After sending my rogue pet to greet the intruder, he revealed a book called the Immortals. Anyone care to enlightened on this object?
