Not available during classic era on TLP.
I went to MQ the ball of clay for someone, targeted this guy and then nuked by accident. no faction hit when the 50k nuke landed and killed him
he is located at approx. -1300, -400 in East Freeport, close to the North Ro zoneline
what i am interested in knowing is what you have to say to get the[/Blue]] quest/epic [/Blue] going. If any1 has that info please e-mail it to me: davidcunio@direcway.com thankyou for your help in this mater

I hailed Kargek; he said his piece, I asked him about his scabbard.
He responded that it was an heirloom and would tell me about it if I would do a favor.

This guy hits for a MAX of 41 and is level 50. His atk is terrible. For this reason he is great for building up you defence skill. With my lvl 50 cleric I pulled this guy to the zone line, Mark of Karn'd him and meleed away. I can tank this guy for around 5 mins before needing to heal, by which time I've normally got 2 or 3 skillups. Hopefully won't take very long to max defence :)

you dont kill him, get him down to 5-10% health then exit the zone and reenter, med and do over again. no-one dies or gets any faction hits.
As pretty much ALL of the epic guys (except some shaman guys I think) they will NOT be kos to anyone, and you WILL be able to do the turn ins, unless specifically noted otherwise. I'm pretty sure there is NO way to lower or raise your faction with them.
Wizzy epic guys have some faction hits built into the system so you have to invis for the MQ there I believe, and I'd think killing any of the epic NPC's would prolly cause trouble

Will this work if he looks at you dubiously? Is the faction fixable, or necessary to adjust?

Woot! Fellow darkelf Warrior! Anyways, you don't need faction with epic npcs they are either dub or indiffernt. They will never be kos and you can do turn ins no matter what your faction is. Only problem is there are guards in the karanas. There none around this guy but getting to him I think there some. You can fix Karana guard faction by killing bandits and gnolls :)Btw, the scabbard is one of the hardest part in the warrior epic. Less your in a "uber guild" it'll take you a very long time to complete it.

Saw a group of peeps attacking him, 8 to be exact all 59 and 60 and his hit points did not go down. They fought him for about 15 minutes and gave up.

Ok, so when does he spawn? I saw him once, back when the quest first came out, but not since...

I am dark elven so I rarely go to Freeport, but the 2 times I have been there since I took his picture, he has been there both times. Maybe someone killed him, or more likely aggro'd him and led him to an area other than his usual spot. Was Wenden there when you looked for Kargek? I'm cutious because I hope this isn't bugged now.

He spawns inside. I have heard that you can communicate with him while invisible. I am a dark elf and still collecting epic quest pieces I know I'll need before I go talk to him. I am also KOS in Freeport. My plan is to buy 2 invisibility potions (one to get in, the other to get back out). I took that picture of him using my woodelf character, but I did not see any guards wandering near him while I was there.
I good trick is to create a human character, then just walk around and find him (he stays in the same spot). Once you find him and know how to get to him quickly, just delete your human character, make yourself invisible, and run in and talk to him.

I saw both Kargek Redblade and Wenden Blackhammer in the newbie combat area well away from any guards.
