Pretty much happened for me the same as others have said, one of the easiest corrupted for me.
waited at loc +0/-0 near the small tree and killed brownie's as they spawned until the tainted spawned, the corrupted spawned straight after killing the tainted.
Took me about and hour or so

Three brownie scouts pop by the little tree near 0, 0. Two pop at the same time (one to the right of the tree and one to the left), and the third (slightly off from the tree) is two minutes behind. There is a 16 minute spawn time between the first brownie scout kill and the first brownie scout re-popping.

I lucked out. I killed all three scouts, sat down and waited. On the second round of spawns the last scout popped tainted then corrupted immediately after the kill. No killing other mobs required.

Ok camp for hours at 0,0 stay up on lil hill toward the orc camp. Over 3 hours aafter I killed Esqruelle (spl)the Corrupt still no Tainted. I remebered from years and years ago helping another that you should clear the brownie camp/merchant far corner of zone. I killed all 3 ph at 0,0 and went to the brownie outpost. Beware guards hard to kill both they heal each other almost bit the dust. Im a 55 druid. NUked one down with lil mana left and dps other had thorns on and lil sidekick bear. Used the free clicky dot drones of doom till I regened mana to pop some more. Noble out side easy solo ... rest inside cabin easy one or 2 dot kills. Merchants cant be harmed.

Ran toward 0,0 and low an behold out popped tainted but took to long and popped both ph too. Was still low mana and forgot in haste to med. Hit snare on tainted then then rooted ... Bad idea make sure liek I did to spread out spawns of 3 ph in case a tainted pops a ph or another tainted wont aggro. I took to long on outpost camp clearing and they all 3 came up. Used JEster and servant had tainted on the run when both ph scouts paTHED/AGGROED on me.

Was bad thing. Never fear!! always use your skills. At 55 alot of dots do no harm to me from scouts but they can still wack on yea pretty good. Snare/rooted scouts off and used the clicky drones of doom arm on all. Left pet on tainted to keep his regen down some. Took one scout at a time fourtuanaly thorn were still up and had the selfbuff thorn armor on. Was slow process. Killed them both when mana regen (potions casue no lazy ass chanter to kei me) gave me enough to squeeze out a few dots. I was really gonna kick my jester ass all I got was the food/wine and POOFIE turned me into a godam fairy. I was like Im gonna die a fairy.

Anyway I went after tainted with track and I guess my pet had came back to laugh at me casue tainted was almost regent half but was still on his slow/snare run from low health. I guess he was to busy hiding in shame some fairy and lil cub bear was beating his butt he kept slow run away instead of reaggroing like most do at like 20%. Luck I guess.

Then to my amazzment jester coughed up a full mana while Iwas following and sitting some then and it was on. Conserved mana and dotted used pet. He died then Corrupt spawneed and did not aggo on pet who I had called back pet. REal nice. Recasted thorns on me and pet and went at Corrupt. All was well untill I realized he was taking my health down and for some dumb reason I unmemed my only heal to recast thorns... (note to self your a jackass). Anyway with full dots on mob and my health dropping too I nuked Socria untill he died with me at 30% health left. (Steadfast servant and jester saved me big time)

A gloroius fight for 4 or 5 hours of sitting. I did clean off my computer table some during the wait. Trust me was much needed. I wonder where the hell all those case screws I found in the carpet came from. Oh well my first build and its not spouting lava yet.

To recap EQstrell the courupt did not effect anything. Maybe I should have cleared the spawn at 0,0 first like I did before I went to the outpost. Clearing the far corner brownie outpost might have caused the trigger. Could have been a coincidence, but if you read other corrupts and clearing this might have been helpfull. Even at 55 level with virt on this brownie was no joke. I could have soloed the whole thing with my 80 cleric who is solteris geared to the 9's 20k hps 19k mana with the vowvalor/retrubution thing. But I dropped outta guilod/raids to have some fun with my first toon a silly druid who got me into more crap than I can recall in the last 9.5 years. She deserves her epic and Im doing it as old school and solo as I can. Plus to many buddies are stuck redoing Frostcrypt 1 and 2 causee of low numbers (ducks) and cant come help or wont. So have fun its why we started playing this godam game.

Ps yes there are typos and at 130 AM with a 5am wakeup Im sorry Im to lazy.

Where is that lil fairy casting JEster Im gonna kiss that mofo.

Almost immediately after posting this I had two tainted spawn simultaneously, I pulled one way and rooted the other, but it kept breaking so I had two on me, killed one and the corrupted was just too much at that point. After over two hours of camping for this piece of the epic, I died at the hands of two tainted and a corrupted, lol. What are the odds?

I would like to confirm several posts stating they killed Equestielle the Corrupted and the Corrupted Brownie didn't spawn. I have also killed Equestrielle the Corrupted twice (the horn is a nice clicky heal for tash for non-cure casting classes!), but have yet to see even one tainted brownie in about four or five hours of constant killing. Camped the location stated in many of the other comments on this page, 0,0 , and yes right in front of a little tree the brownie scouts spawn. Some light blue, some dark blue to 52 druid. Only 1 of the 20 to 30 scouts I rooted and rotted healed himself partially, once. They are nothing to sweat. Each scout took ensnare 1x (none ever broke it) drifting death 1x, drones of doom 1x, creeping crud 2x, and stinging swarm 2x to drop. Sit, med, and wait for next spawn.

As stated previously, after about 20 to 30 scout spawns (about an hour and a half), the tainted brownie spawned. He was nothing more than a dark blue brownie scout with more HP. 2x all dots listed above and he dropped dead. Corrupted spawned.

Corrupted was a bit more complicated but nothing terrible. Started with a root and rot as with previous mobs, but as stated in many other comments on this page he summons and sometimes gets a few shots in of about 100 to 140 damage each. The key to this is to be aware and prepared to be summoned. Simply position your finger over the up arrow key and run a little ways right after you are summoned (your back will be to him), turn, then reapply dots, re-root (he broke root 3 or 4 times), or heal as necessary. I probably gave myself 3 or 4 shots of superior healing throughout the whole fight. When the fight ended I was at about 50% HP and mana was down to about 15%. He did appear to heal himself once or twice, but was more interested in summoning me, which was nice because my mana was getting low. He is soloable at 52 if you keep your head and try to conserve mana.

Ok, the Loc of Tainted spawn point is 0,0.
There is a small tree here from which 2 brownie Scouts seem to pop out of. The Spawn Cycle of the Scouts is 15 min 30 sec. These 2 are the PH for the Tainted Brownie, which will spawn the Corrupted after you kill it. As stated below, the Corrupted does summon.

Ran to Lfay for a rez. On my way back I ran into the tainted brownie. He conned blue to my 52 pally. As I ran past him he drew agro. I fought him and got him to 33% before I had to pop my LoH. Once he went down the corrupted popped and started woopin on me. I went from 78% down to 20% in about 20-30 seconds. I was buffed and have around 3500 hps. As I ran toward the entrance I clicked my jboots and was easily outrunning him until all of a sudden he starts to summon. He summoned me about 10 times before I zoned at 3% health. Only reason I lived was my jboots. Each time he summoned he got one hit in for around 136hps. I consider myself lucky and highly recommend you bring help if your gonna try to tackle this midget. I say a 60+ pally with 8-9k hps would be ok but still recommed you bring a medic with ya.

Soloed him easily at 58. Rooted him and dotted him. Interrupted casting several times by summoning me but never got me below 60% health without healing myself. As long as he stays rooted, very easy mob. Hit for about 150 max.

I ran into the tainted brownie with my 62 warrior today and he aggroed me, so I /ooc if anyone needs but nobody in zone did so I decided to take the little guy down. The tainted went down pretty easy but the corrupted was a little tougher. I was unbuffed at the time so I ended up having to use most of my disciplines to stay alive. After using mighty strike discipline and landing a couple 900+ crippling blows followed with my fortitude discipline he finally fell with my hp bar at 13%. I decided to add up the damage I did to see how many hit points he had and it came out to be 10477!! Sure wish I had that kind of hp. Anyhow, highest he hit me for was 127, and I'm not so sure that he is a druid, he never once tried to cast anything on me. Hope this info helps any druids that are looking for him.

Silly Druid Stun are for Magicians at 62 and at location 0,0 he spawns, attacks me Damage Shield hurts him, 61 pet(kitted & mage buffed) attacks, launch one 2320 damage nuke and pet already has poor singed brownie walking slowly away while my shrunken air pet stuns him to DEATH literally. Piece of cake.... not everything in EQ is kiteable, sometimes you simply need to pull out a can of Whoop Arse and let brownie parts fly as they may.
And yes Dynamite Gozzaboom and nuke AOE during combat :)

I don't think this person was kiting him. Was more then likely root/rotting him for that would be the more appropriate tactic in dealing with this mob. You do tend to get summoned when you do damage.

I soloed this mob with my level 55 Druid. In reading the info here I decided to have a bit of a "Plan B". I bound on the hill a bit away from the spawn point and had Egress and Gate loaded. If he had summoned me to the point where I might be endanger of dying I would Egress to wipe aggro then gate back. Root and snare would make sure that he wouldn't go too far. As it turned out I did not need to Egress/Gate. Sure, I got beat up a bit on the summons but nothing that was overy bad. I just made sure I had my finger on the run button to get out of the way asap when I did get summoned.

From the tone of your post might I suggest that your "accomplishment" is not as great as you think it is.

Magicians have pets to protect them. That is why you had the time to get your nuke off. You had done very little damage to the mob so you were not summoned despite your pet stuns.

And....

My Wizard's can of whoop ass is bigger then yours. 8)

I got real lucky tonight. Camped the baracuda for about an hour and a half when tainted popped. Ran on shore and sure enough, he followed. Classic root & rot strategy with Immolate, Drifting Death, and Drones from ES Vams. I then head over to EJ hoping for a shot at the gorilla. Adds got to be too much after buffs ran out so I gate to LFay where corrupt brownie soundly handed me my own a$$ on a silver platter the night before. A high lvl LDoN group is happening to walk by and heals and buffs me up (Thanks Sheeyra!!!) Sure enough, I med back up when I hear /ooc Corrupt brownie up and at 9%. Immediately I start tracking this little bugger down, only he's not showing up on radar. After a few more /ooc's someone spots him south of the brownie merchants in all the shrooms with the fairies. By the time I get there of course he's up to full, but I decide what the heck. Snare, it sticks. Wait for the summon, back up a bit. Root, it sticks. Wait for the summon, and I start putting up my dots one at a time inbetween summons. Once all the dots are up, I sit and med or heal inbetween summons as needed. I think root broke twice, but I was able to get it back on him. After what I'm guessing is about 10 or 15 rounds of Immolate, Drones, and Drifting, he dropped.

At the time, I was 51, 249 WIS with KEI, had wolf form, Skin Like Nature, Thorncoat and Shield of Thorns, and Chloro for the duration of the fight.

Just goes to show you it CAN be done. The first time I met him, he seemed to resist all my snares and dots I threw at him, fight lasted MAYBE 2 minutes. This time, once I got the cycle of dots down in between summons, it was cake.

Just my 2 cp.

Going on everyone's representation on what an easy mob this misguided little girl scout is, I tried to solo him at 49. After being summoned more times than I care to imagine and before I could succor/port, he killed me.

I then got two very nice 58+ DE SKs (somewhat ironic - int-based, drow summoners helping out a wis-based, hobbit nature boy - you have to love Lanys) to help me out and neither of the SKs got below 95%. So, if you are young and eager bring a couple of big sticks to whack on the brownie and he will give up the loot.

Of course the drow wanted me to help kill the Pained Unicorn. Well, maybe after I have my epic.

Took out the Corrupted with a 56 Ranger and myself, a 55 Druid. The fight was easy as can be. Only healed the ranger once when he got to 60%. It took about 1 1/2 hours to get him to spawn.

Tried to solo him first but he won the day. Had him to 4% hp though.

Good luck to you.

I am a 51 Druid. First thing I did was wolf form. Then proceeded and killed 2 brownie scouts and the tainted appeared. Killed him the same as the scouts with snare, root, and 3 top dots. I would recast root and dots when needed and med while they did the work. When the tainted died the corrupted spawned but did not attack me. I medded to full then snared and rooted him (he did not attack me yet) then I started to dot him with my top 3 again. Once I had those off I cast Starfire and Ice one after the other. He summoned me after third dot was cast and kept summoning me. I would attack with my Boned Scimitar and keep casting. Had him down to just under 70hp but mine was down to about 40 so I succored. He was still on track so I healed and medded. When I got back to him aggro was gone but he was full hp. I tried again but same thing. Dot Spells I used were Drifting Death, Drones of Doom, and Immolate. I tried to get help in zone to kill him but no luck. Went to BB and got some help, but by the time we got back he was no longer around. Tried killin the brownie scouts for awhile but no luck. Will try again later.

Ok, Hubby and I just camped for the corrupted.

The spawn point is 0 by 0 or so close as to not matter. They spawn, move a very short distance, buff, then wander.

There are 3 brownie scout spawns.

They are EXACTLY 17 minute spawns. (We were there for 6 respawns. Give or take a few seconds, and some allowance has to be made for how fast /time can be hit, they are 17 minutes.)

65 enchanter with pet
52 druid

enchanter had Arcane Rune knocked down and took a bit more damage on a second Arcane Rune over the tainted / corrupted fight so under 3000 hp, and probably a lot less

druid lost about 750 hp as well

pet didn't take enough damage to lose "uproar" so under 450 hp

pet was red to 52 druid, and corrupted took less than 6 nukes from enc (1100 hp each) and 5 from druid (612 hp each) so probably under 20khp for the tainted / corrupted combo

Got the corrupted last night and killed the little guy with me (lvl 60 druid) and 55 bst. We didn't have time for a protracted camp, so we would just log in, kill 3 or 4 cycles of spawns, then log and try again later. Got the tainted on the third round of spawns on the third attempt.

Some things to note: the scouts do indeed spawn at loc 0,0 and they will wander back to their spawn point. We would camp at 0,0, buff up and just wait for the little guys to come back home, so to speak. Within a few minutes, each would return and we'd kill em. I think this was actually faster than using track to clear them. However, be warned that one might be there when you log in, so be ready to root and have wolf form mem'd so you won't get multiples if another wanders back while fighting. After wanderers are cleared, they will spawn in on top of you at loc 0,0. Just pick em off.

Also, because the spawn time is around 15 minutes, it's a rather boring camp. I stayed in wolf form, but the bst didn't use it until the tainted spawned. That way, if we were afk briefly and a brownie spawned, it would jump the bst and his pet would start whacking it and we wouldn't miss the spawn.

Finally, when we got the tainted, I DID wolf form the bst. After we killed the tainted and started on the corrupted, another scout spawned in but ignored us, which was nice. Not that it would have made a huge difference. Bst + pet both tanked tainted and corrupted back to back, I never healed and we ended the fight with pet at full health and bst at 60%.

Final note on tained/corrupted - they didn't cast anything - not one spell. Corrupted summoned, but it didn't matter, because he summoned bst and bst was meleeing anyway. I just snared and dot'd the tained (just one cast of winged death) and did the same to the corrupted. Only additional thing I did was chain nuke the corrupted with Moonfire. Every cast hit for full damage.

So, all and all, the tainted/corrupted sounded scarier than they really turned out to be. Good luck and bring a meleeing friend if you can - makes it a cakewalk!

Went thru LFay and the Tainted was up. Solo'd him easily with 60m to spare (I'm a 57 dru), but I knew I couldn't get the Corrupted with the remaining mana so I gated out after doting him once. It took me about 5 mins to get back because I was bound in PoK, but he (the Corrupted) was still up when I got there. I took another 5 mins or so to med/rebuff before I attacked him again.

1 Ensnare, 3 Engorging Roots, 4 dots (2 Winged Death/2 Drifting Death), and a couple of DD's (Breath of Karana) finally took him down with no mana to spare. In addition to the Branch, he also dropped Words of Energy (whatever those are for!?).

I didn't ever see him cast a spell, he just kept summoning me about every 8 seconds - like Meeshak previously mentioned in another post - which was plenty of time to get spells off in between summons. He'd hit me once or twice on each summon so I had to heal myself quite a bit, which is why mana ran out so fast. Even though the DD's broke root, I think the quick damage was worth it because obviously, the longer you fight him, the more time he has to keep summoning you into range to beat on you. His max hit, which he did often, was 126.

I only had KEI and my own druid buffs cast on me. Plus, I still have very lame mid-lvl gear (225 Wis with KEI and almost no +mana) so I'm sure others at my lvl and below can solo him, too. Just gate out after the Corrupted pops or do like Winvaryen suggested in an earlier post and take the Tainted down to about 5% then med to full and rebuff before killing it to trigger the Corrupted.

Funny thing about this "druid." When me and my 52 pally friend, me being 53 at the time, went to kill this guy, I only saw him cast one spell. The only time he cast was while we were medding up after killing the tainted, I wonder what was going thru his head when there were two wolves staring at him.

Anyways, the only thing he cast was Skin like Wood on himself. WTF! That is a lvl 1 spell!

All in all a very easy kill. Sadly the pally died in the encounter, mainly a communication problem.

My wife's 52 DRU was in lfay shopping for an enchanter and she saw the tainted on track. I popped in with my 51 WIZ, we got share wolf form, and off we went. The tainted went down easy, DRU kept it snared/rooted and WIZ unloaded ice comets. The corrupted spawned, and WIZ was way low on mana. Oops. We tried the corrupted, but couldn't keep him still. In the end, WIZ was out of mana and DRU was trying to outrun the summons to get a heal off. She did, and eventually she zoned and I evac'ed off the aggro list.

I camped to my 57 bard while she medded up. She went back in and verified that he had not despawned. Bard came over, got share wolf form, and we tried again. This time is did nothing but twist snare and fear while meleeing. DRU followed along and nuked for all she was worth. Brownie went down with only one spell cast on us: a root that did not hold when I first snared him.

The share wolf form helped alot though. In the tainted fight, we had at least one brownie scout run right over us while we were nuking. He never paid us any attention since we were both wolves.

Was camped here for the second time and hope see corrupted pop. (spend last time 3 hours and half to kill all scout and no corrupted spawned)

Me (druid 54) and a friend wizzy 63, was KEI'ed, and buffed, well, tainted spawn Woow cool! Both of us was Fom, so let's do it !

Hehe, Snare, root, Dot, then a good Root/nuke synchro...,BUT, dont forgot that there is 3 pop times !! So when we were on the corrupted one, the second tainted poped, and a third Scout, even they are quite simple to kill but, when u have a corrupted who summon you, a tainted that u need keep rooted and NOT KILL to not get 2 corrupted ! this damn lil scout give you big trouble , attack u when u run away from summon , interrupt your cast and HIT you, even not terribly hard but HIT you !

So, corrupted was at 27% HP when we two was at about 15% ..,so we start to run as far as we can an finally stop be summoned for a little..,at the end, mmm /sigh /sigh another druid 59 comes help us, then she get summoned as well and been in trouble, then a chanter 63 comes help us too, and when she arrived, 2/3 of us read that : Returning to home point, please wait...
Loading, please wait...
+ for both
Welcome to lvl 53, You LOST your Level 54 !
Welcome to lvl 62, You LOST Your Level 63 !

So, 3 body, (cause wizzy dead 2 times in 2 minutes), corrupted and second tainted finally depoped, lost exp and so much desapointement... !!
So 20 min to find body, rez and rez and rez and.... bah grrrrSmiley: cry

>AND WHY ? Smiley: banghead
>>>DO NEVER PULL UR CORRUPTED BROWNIE NEAR SPAWN CAMP ! DONT FORGOT THEY SPAWN BY 3 !!! <<<

/sigh /sigh

Myself a level 58 druid and two friends of mine a level 55 and 53 druid got this guy to spawn twice in lesss than an hour. Myself being the higher of the three rooted snared and dotted him to take the agro. When he summoned me I just used my scoraie as often as I could between interuptions while the other two druids pummeled him with fire, and kept me alive with heals. All in all an easy kill. He spawns at location 0 . 0 .
There pop point!

If you go to Loc Pos 57 Pos 12 after you have killed all the current ones running around and face due south you well see them drop in then just root and nuke no more track and chase...

was on sat. working on epic for druid, and it must have been druid epic day on TM , was actually going to do the deepwater in LoIO, however they where camped, I got this one as a group was pulling out. took about 2 hours for the spawn to pop. easy kill, had 58 mage with epic pet though, so that is why it was easy I would bet. sat in the middle of the zone, I forget the loc. sorry, but it did spawn, 16 min. timer on the Ph's.

I solod him at level 58. The key is to KEEP HIM ROOTED. He will summon you about every 8 secononds. This gives you enough time to get 1 or 2 clorblasts off or 1 dot. I usually healed about every third summon. Kept him doted and he went down after about 6 minutes.

Refresh root about 3 and a half minutes into the fight.

If your too low root wont last and your gonna be in troble. When he died, I had 30 percent mana left. 233 wiz with KEI on but lots of + mana items

Let me apologize for my stupidity...

It's not a camp...

0,0 just so happens to be the place where the brownies spawn, then they wander away...

Now if I can just get those brownies to sell me cookies!

Wizards above level 55 are often found soloing this mob as yet another means of leveling solo to 60. One of THE most boring experiences you will ever have, but for our class, it is a common means of getting there. You can read about various ways in which wizards solo this guy on Graffe's site. Long thread of posts there on their ez-board forum describing the camp, so if you are a high level wizzy looking to take a break from quad kiting Raptors in TM or whatever, this guy may be an alternative for you.

Not too hard using 55 wiz and 60 dru. Think any 55 plus dru and 1 other 55+ can do it. Tried solo but had to exodus after getting him to 40%.

My Druid, was lvl 41 at the time, and was invited to go along with a higher lvl druid, of lvl 50. We had one Paladin, at lvl 47, and a Necro friend came along out of boredom. The necro was lvl 54. For the corrupted, Druids snared and dotted, Necro feared it, and the Paladin tore it to pieces. The necro only had to cast fear twice, and the Paladin only got hit for a few hundred HP's during the fear breaks. Very easy if ya got a Necro to fear it.

Well after reading some of these post I was a little leary about going after him with just my 54 Druid and my hubby's 53 Mage, but we figured we'd give it a shot anyway.

Here's what we did:

*We both got KEI
*Since the MOB is a 51 druid, we loaded up on all of the resists (for the Mage's pet, too) lest he through a starfire our way
*Since he summons, the Mage cast an air pet to stun it and try to keep it from casting

The spawn times of the sets of 3 brownie scouts (LOC 0,0 near orc camp) was about 8-10 minutes. It took about 7 cycles of brownie scouts to spawn the tainted then the corrupted (I kept refreshing our buffs as they wore off). I'd recommend bringing some skill items to work on while you wait because it was boring.

Anyway, when the tainted spawned we were both close to full mana. I only snared it and gave it a free dot (ESVs) and let the pet do the rest. When the corrupted spawned, the pet attacked first and once he had established agro I snared/rooted him and tossed him a winged death & free dot then sat down to med. The pet, with a DS, did most of the work. I was only summoned twice (the meat shield-pet- was summoned 2-3 times) and I was only hit for a total of 364 points of damage. The air pet needed 1 superior heal but would have lived without it.

I think that the key was to have the resists high and to use the air pet to stun him so he couldn't cast. Not the only way to do it, but it was fairly simple. Good luck!

Was walking through LF earlier this month when I got a tell from a Druid looking for help with this part of his Epic. We medded 'til FM and the Druid pulled with Snare and DoTs; then I sent in my Fire pet and nuked a few times since I couldn't handle the aggro. The Brownie ended up going after the poor Druid exclusively and eventually killed him, but my pet ended killing the Brownie. The Druid looted the Epic and thanked me profusely.
The Druid mentioned that he couldn't be soloed and I believe him (and the rest of these posts). Never saw the Brownie summon since we never really fled and I didn't get attacked more than once or twice from the Brownie so I don't know how tough he is.
Not exactly helpful, but...

When you enter Lesser, hunt down the 3 wandering scouts and kill then. Thereafter, camp at approx p10,p10 where each of the 3 PH's will spawn about very 15 minutes. The PH's, tainted, and corrupted do not drop brownie parts. The other brownies in zone do drop the parts.

Camped this guy at least 2-3 times a week for upwards of 4 hours for the last month. Finally Aug 6, after we'd camped him about 90 minutes, the tainted spawned. Easily took him down with a 60 druid and 60 mage with epic pet. In between spawns, we ran over to the fort on the Northwest wall and killed the brownie guards for minor experience and brownie parts.

About 45 minutes after we got the drop, I gated out of KC where we are camping VSR, forgetting my gate was set in Lesser Faydark. About 5 minutes later, the tainted spawned again.

Greetings,

I found that the brownie Scouts spawn around every 15 minutes and 30 seconds. I haven't had a tainted pop yet, so I can't tell you on that.

Also, the Brownie Scouts on Karana pop exactly at POS 10, POS 10. Yes very close to 0,0. The scouts die very easy with a full group; almost to easy. Makes it a very boring camp.

Hope this helps you in some way.

I'm a LvL 60 Druid on MT and I tried to solo the Corrupted Brownie. All went well until he started summoning me over and over, about 4 seconds between each summon. Since when does a Druid (NPC or otherwise) get summoning ability?

Well, each summon would break my cast and I had little chance to get spells off while this hard hitting fellow was on me.

In the end I tried to gate but that failed too. Seems like a tank is the only way to take this mob.

I will try him another day with a LvL 60 Ranger buddy.

you fools he said a Druid being able to summon not just any mob. Like maybe mobs should only have the abilities that the player toons are allowed to have. /sigh

Ok, this is it.. just did it and it was easy, surprisingly easy. ALL you need is a necro, or ranger i suppose. All i had was a 55 necro, and me, a 55 Druid, and we did it no problem at all. My suggestion would be get a c3 just to help speed the process of killing the scouts, which are easily soloable by a 55 druid.. i was soloing them for about 30 min all by myself till the necro got there. Winged death and breath of ro and their dead, and for the tainted/ corrupted, just fear kite them, pull with annul magic then snare, then fear, with pet wacking away, and dot, it was easy. Now i know all you other druids out there can do it so get off your butts, get a necro friend, and get this piece of your epic done. Gluck

Well since early June the brownies in Lesser Fay have been bugged and they aren't casting so NOW is the time to get the corrupted part for your epic. Before Verant figures it out and fixes them all. LOL
