if you hand in envy and woe to him he gives you a marble pebble... no drop lore item... no clue what this is for. any ideas??

Got shield of this guy yesterday in one try. 41 Druid, just charmed a basilisk, cast shield of spikes on it and let him impale himself after I snared him and nuked a couple times. He did LoH and heal a few times, but he never hit me once and only just barely killed the basilisk.

Also got a fine steel longsword off him. Really, it was just fun to kill something humanoid and not get wrecked faction-wise.

Ok im a 52 shamy (for the time being) and i am staring my epic, i get to the part i need to kill this guy and the wicked guy. they both simple. hard part was finding them.

I actually did the task he asked about and recieved a marble pebble from him which he told me to turn into the person who sent me for a reward, any idea what or who I turn this marble pebble in to?

Any idea what this guys Spawn timer is? i was told an hour but it's been 2 and he still hasn't shown up .... makin me mad

Most of the shaman epic is just faction work. Need to be nearly max ally to True Spirit before handing in tear to Rak.Everything leading up to Rak is just to build facion, thats it.

If you wanted to, you can just kill these two clowns in Rathe and loot envy, woe and marr's promise, run to West Karanas, hand it over to wondering spirit for faction hit, run back to Rathe and repeat till you get max ally to True Spirit. You don't have to do The Hole for Kirn, CoM till you're ready for Rak, just this simple and easy part till max faction. Than you'll just need the childs tear from Fear and a couple high lvl mages and clerics for CoM.

I did shaman epic up to Kirn, got boots and shield and am now just repeating shield part till I get max ally. Came to rathe with a couple friends and got envy, woe and marr's promise for me, than we killed HGs till repop and got it for second member than repeated till repop and got it for third member. We all went to West Karanas. Before handing in, I was conning kindly to the spirit, after first hand in I was warmly, second hand in I was still warmly, third hand in I was Ally. Probably 2 or three more hand ins and I'll be max ally, just to be safe. Diffinately one of the easier epics in the game. Only hard part I see is getting the Tear from Fear. Once I have that, spawning Rak from a Jade Reaver is np. Killed reavers in three man groups with some difficulty, but we were able to do it and all you really need to kill Rak once you spawn him is one lvl49 plus fire pet and a couple clerics.

KK now fer some information not about how you killed him.

His loc is 6307, 1591 also its location #2 the "rune stone" on eqatlas map of rathe mountains.

34 mage using air pet, baddading, sure he healed 2 times (fairly descent heals-but not enough to out heal my nukes) he didn't even LoH, 320dmg nukes owned him fast. heh chain nuked him and he only came after me once, but that was stopped when he paused to heal he never even hit me, my pet was 1/2 health (focused water) and it only took about 40m (thats about 5 175mana nukes). I earned everything i have no twinkie here, 190int. haha all focus items since lvl 30, got my earth focus item at lvl 12. Ever hear of spider silk? ohhh let pet mass murder spiders to get silks for pp to buy gem, toes, ugh. Well worth the 200+pp it cost me back then, that lvl 12 focused earth pet could solo even cons, and thats what i let him do, who cares about 1/2 xp being taken away? when you can slaughter heal pet slaughter again while ya med, no downtime and tons of cash. I still have over 4kpp in my bank, maybe i'll try to buy some uber items and get some more int now that they upped the mana return for int above 200, bahh no need to, get lvl 39 and have pet go take them ogres in WK so i can lose these +10mana POS earing and trade em in fer batskull, not worth pharming them for the 200pp they sell for, not worth buying them when they will be so easy to get in 5 lvl's. I do have a question though, why doesn't anyone wanna group with a mage? I mean heh a 30 wiz got into a group when he will just sit there with a high resist rate, and can't really even MR FR CR debuff. I mean heh that wizzy might nuke for 500dmg bahh crap dmg, my pet would of done that much in a group, if the wizzy was 34 then i could understand, new spell set and less chance for resists. Ohh well, i sat there blasting this guy down without a prob, not one shammy asked to loot the shield and only having 62str i let them rot, only other alternative was to summon me bags but ya will always make more money/xp if ya leave the crap loot alone and only grab what ya might be able to use, or things that weight 0.1 and are stackable. bahh, 30-34 in one day soloin 2 spires in SK almost 35 thanks to this guy, so maybe get out of 35 in 8-12 hours of camping him, then off ta 39 in another 8-12 hours, get new pet and earings, then off to blast my way up to 44, then i'll go back and hog all the HG's away from them greedy druids and all the people who don't wanna group with a mage. Ever notice a 29 warrior with 10dmg +1 dmg bonus hits for about 33? my 34 pet hits for 29, /scratch head, ohh well their loss, they could of essentially had the dmg output of 2 tanks, plus my DD's that hit as hard as a 39 drood, and to top it off resist's defuff. I think ya'll need to re-evaluate your treatment of mages, we kick major arse.

Found this guy at the Rune Stone (#2 on eqatlas map). Conned dark blue to a lvl 42 Pally.

Not too tough to solo. Though he does heal himself so be ready to bash and stun to disturb those or the fight gets long.

Got the shield. Not bad, planning on keeping it for a while.

Does anybody have a loc for where he spawns or is it just random?

I'm a somewhat suicidal shammy who has completed the quest up to this point. I helped a newbie yesterday and his alt gave me the woe and envy, so all I need now to get the sweet shield is to get the Marrs Promise. I'm lvl 24, and was wondering if a group of people around this level might be able to take him down.

was with group, and conned yellow to me, 31 and the druid, 30.
