After handing in the parts you get exp plus Truespirit faction.I went from apprehensive to indifferent.Same faction as Camin 2 doors down and across the hall.Oh and this guy is upstairs in the inn in Erudin zone.

i NEED faction for this guy.. i have a 51 Erudite Enchanter on the Nameless, and wanna START my epic... i may never finish it... but would like to start it.

Well.. after alliance this dude cons APPREHENSIVLEY... i mean C'MON we are Both erudites.. hehe

oh well...

Even at apprehensively, he will still respond to the quest dialog and give you the notes if you hand him the materials. For old EQ quests, at least, the general guideline is try talking to the NPC; if he will go through the ENTIRE quest dialog with you, then it's safe to do hand-ins. Many quest NPCs will work at very low faction levels; go try these things before you assume apprehensive isn't high enough for the quest. =)

Please tell me you mean collaboration and not alliance, if you are using feeble low lvl alliance then that may be your problem ^_^

Stofo will not talk to you unless you are above level 50. But he is not level 55. He cons blue to my level 51 Wizard.

This guy will NOT talk to you till you are 50+ level...you can still start collecting the components but you need to be 50th to hand them in for the quest to begin:))

i got the same massage as the gnome wiz below
I need this guy to speak to me so that i can start my Epic weapon Quest

he cons Indifferently to me using benevolance

What faction do i need to raise to get him to at least speak to me?
any info would be great :)

I got a different message from him... (24th agnostic gnome wiz).
The message was "When you have more experience behind you, then you will be rewarded."
Is this his normal response to a hail?
