Oops. Being rather new in bw, I thought this little sarnak temple just north of the fm zone would be a good place for me (47sk) and my party (51clr) (43sk) (40enc) (37monk) to go beat on some sarnaks. No one knew this guy was a quest npc and we certainly didnt know his lvl! Found out the hard way. Cleric and 43 sk survived. This guy was hitting me for dbl 157's. We didnt even dent his health. After cr, the chanter said..."hey, I think he is part of my epic...no wonder he conned indiff to me".

Similar story, we had a group of 51 Cleric, 54 Shaman, 48 Warrior, 51 Ranger, 49 Rogue, and myself 50 Shaman. Took on this guy for some reason I have yet to understand, and he cleaned our clocks! We didnt even get him down to half HP by the time everyone was OOM (everything was resisted) and we ran for our lives... Imitatr started summoning us back to him again and again, and then finally when he'd almost killed me he cast me up in the air to fall to my death. 3 of us died all told.

Yes, he was the only one of the sarnaks that conned indifferent to me when I went to do my epic turn in. The others were ready to attack. I single pulled those around Jeb here and killed those others. Then I did my turn in for Jeb's Seal towards the Enchanter Epic. He didn't bother me...roflmao!

The npc Jeb Lumsed is not buged , verent changed the quest a bit , the reason for this was that u could do just the 4 masters and not have to do the smr, pin ,ink or paper parts of this quest , so verent made it so you had to get jebs seal first and use it to get the bags, so whitout the seal no bag and no way to combine anything.you can no longer ask for the bag simply give one of the masters the seal to get a bag (note all bags from all masters are the same)and jeb is on a 3 day spawn so if there was a patch ,you have to wait 3 days

Hi everyone i have just completed my epic quest. on 11/1/01. here is the reason why im posting. just to let all the enchanter knows what problem i have come across. the problem i had is trying to get a sack from Sarnak imitator. i have tried many lines to get the sack so i can combine the 4 parts of the staff but wasnt able to. here is the solution, if you got stuck like me just go to 1 of the 4 masters and hand him the jeb's seal they will give you a sack. u can use the same sack they give you to combine the 4 part of the staff in it, and itll work i have done it as of 11/1/01. then hand bundle of stave to imitator.i hope this help some ppl cause i have wasted lots of rl time cause of this. oh and another thing is all the epic npc that give the quest have no PH so u dont need kill any green stuff they are just in a long spawning time ( confirm by a gm ). i hope this help out some ppl and have a nice time.

Been killing sarnaks for hours and still NO Sarnak Imitator..how are we supposed to know when he will be there..I mean, what if someone kills him a half an hour before we log on? How are we supposed to know?

Was wondering, today is the first day after an emergency patch..found spot with 3 sarnaks inside a building and another outside faller pillar..How long do you have to keep killing sarnaks before he spawns? Also, the spawn rate on the other sarnaks seems very short, so be careful when he does spawn, to hurry and get out..

Aye, confirmed today that he is bugged. He was spawned I came up to him with invis on and he wouldnt respond to hails. So i univis adn his buddies jumped me so be careful. I killed his friends and when back this time visible and hailed, this time he responded. I got the coin but for the life of me could not get the Sack, thus bugged. The LOC shown above is correct, he is in the building with the other 2 sarnaks.

The sack is not a bug. You probally didn't have enough bag slots to get it. Same thing happened to me before with Nadia. Just make sure you have TWO bag slots open or you won't get the sack. Since they give you the coin back first and it falls to the bag slot, the sack will destroy itself.

Nope It is buged he will no longer give out a sack. So this is what you do when you finish all the parts of the epic. Ask for another sack from who ever the last peice you did and put all 4 parts of the staff and hit combine. It works NP thats what i did only proplem is now that im ready to turn the D#%N thing in ******* isnt up.

I've been hearing rumors that Verant wanted to make our epic quest a little harder, so they now require you to do mass killings of green mobs to make *all* the turn-in people appear, including the NPC in Firiona Vie. Can someone confirm this?

Further information on this problem...
Imitator is on a three day spawn. You log in on patch day to complete your epic, you've got a three day wait ahead of you until he pops. Also, he's currently bugged so if you're depending on him for a sack you're SOL. However, you can use a sack that you got from any of the other enchanter masters--Mizzle, Nadia, etc.

Where the hell IS this guy? I've completed everything I really can (got notes and many pieces for the sub quests) but I cannot for the life of me get this guy to spawn! I'm going to loc -1300, -4000 in BW and there is a little temple with a two spawn of Sarnaks inside, and one out by the falled pillars. Am I at the right spot? I've killed those guys that spawn there for hours on end with no imitator. The quest walk thru from here says:
"Jeb Lemused is in the form of a Sarnak Imitator in the Burning woods. He is not always around, and killing the nearby Sarnaks may help him appear."
Am I doing something wrong? Please help.

Congratulations on finishing the epic quest. I am not sure if you have, but you have collected the info on an organized webpage. Now why couldnt the druid quest have a page like that.
