Actually found him wandering the road near the Kithicor Forest zl. I gave him the token and he did not speak to me when I told him "Rykas gave it to me". He took off walking again. I hailed him to stop him, quoted the next line to start the dialogue. Was actually at -133, +3052 for me in the Commonlands...not the ones given with SoD.

Found him today at -280 +2212. He wasn't moving and didn't have a pet. This is in the new commonlands zone.

to find this guy easy with out a tracker go to the general area hes in & cast sense summoned as he has a pet with him shortly after he spawns ..

I found him today at -430, +2073, -22. Seems he walks the entirety of the road, not just the path between kithicor and the second village.

With the zone change, he now wanders from just outside the Kithicor zone line (771, 3372) along the path to the second village (-206, 1320).

I nuked a few times and he dropped a sr apprentice robe for me no plat. No faction change.

Let me just say monks are nothing but trouble! I tried to do a turn-in for my epic piece with this guy, but I got there just in time to see a monk kill him. ARG...if they're not Training me they're killing my epic NPC's! /grumble with that said...let me go create a monk twinkie :)~

Anyone know if this guy is part of Keepers of the Art faction? Trying to raise it and rather than travel all the way to a caster guild for a con, maybe I can con this guys, since he cons the same as the guilds.. Thanks all :)
Today I gave him the Token of Mastery twice, he asked me where I got it I told him Rykas gave it to me...after that he says greetings, no matter what else I say to him, even magi'kot he just says greetings

I thought he was broken as well. I tried skipping ahead and answering the question he is supposed to ask next. He is supposed to ask, "Have you come for the words of Magi'kot?" I said something to the effect that I had come for the words and he gave me the quest for the torn pages. Perhaps this will work for you?

Yes, he is broken. My magician gave him the coin from Rykas. All I got back was the response, "Greating Teeggus" My suggestion is to get the other parts of the quest, then come back to him.
If he wouldn't take the coin, then by all means do NOT give him the Torn Pages of Mastery!

He is in the Quest MagiŽkot... trying to solve it...i think its starts whit rykas that can be found in RLake Rathetear...he giveu coin... give it to him, and he respons like this: "the word of MagiŽkot can only be shared whit those elementalist whose minds are of balance. the word were separated into three pieces by a high council of magi who feared that the story would bring an end to elementalists troughout Norrath. if you feel you wish to red from the sacred power of the orb then an elementalis of such power should easily accomplish this task"... Any ideas ?? think there is one in Buthcer block.... going to check that out =0)

I attacked him at 32 and he nailed me so bad i had to book for zone.

Ok, he cons dark blue to me at 38. Chased me, warrior and 36 druid to zone after beating the crap out of us. We didn't even get him down to half health. Seriously doubt stories of lower level folk killing him.

My wife started a druid and came across a great quest for lvl 19 24 (druids). Go to Lake Rathe and find Rykas. Bind next to him. Tell him "I wish to learn", he will give you a coin. Now port to WC (West Commanlands), and run straight west until you find Jahsohn Aksot, give him the coin and you will get great XP (no, no money or loot, just xp). Hope this helps!

hes for mage epic dont mess with him you will tick off many a mage btw mages are too powerful for any other classs to even touch them say magikot or somethin g and he responds

This guy has at least 1300 hit points, I hit him with 1300 points worth of nukes, he killed my pet and killed me as well, I also had a 440 point dot on him, he was getting close to dead but still smoked me. I had enough mana to have burned him, had a crapload of buffs, my cold and fire resists where buffed but he just nuked too fast and his punches for 30-90 didn't help either. beat me at 39.

this guy is for the mage epic. you give him the coin that rykas gives you in lake rathe. He then has you do 3 mini quest in retern he gives you a scroll "power of he elements" the first quest is the words of magi'kot, the second is the "power of the elements which are gems, and the last one is torn pages that all drop in najena of mages.

IMO you prob shouldn't mess with human casters that punch for 90! i know quite a few 60 iksar monks who have been whooping up on this guy bc of what he does to their lvl 40 alts. Gotta love seein him fleein cause instill doubt went off without a hitch. Then the trance staff smacks down and he goes down in a few hits... if you wanna try this guy, root him and just nuke him, if root breaks bust ass to root spot and continue, that is about the only way for a caster to survive!

My pet took this guy out on his own I was a lvl 40 necro at the time my pet was the level 39 spell this guy conned green to me and barely put up a fight. He didnt have a pet and he dropped crap loot

This is the coolest NPC i've ever come accross , and the best pet ever. Whenever i go to PK and i dont feel like doing much, i charm this fellow... having a pet that hits for 98 and casts is nto bad...Not bad at ALL :D hits hard, lots of HP, but has resists of a lvl 29 :D thats all i gotta say! ;D

Exactly like Bobro, I ported in to WC to see what XP I could get. I see this guy without pet, find he cons blue indifferent to my 32 Iksar Necro, so I attack him.
Everything went swimmingly to start with, not a single resist, fear kiting nicely. However, I was quite confused by his health bar which didn't move despite throwing everything I had in his direction. Finally, almost out of mana, he's health only gone down by half, my fear runs out and he hits me for 56, 68, 97!
Miraculously, I had just enough mana to evac gate out of there. Phew!

MISS-CON? try super mis-con! i (32 paladin) was just sitting in WC doing nothing becuase i was board and i saw this guy standing right there, well having full mana, full hp, and all my buffs nice and fresh i decided to con him to see if i could whoop him or not. he coned blue so i decided to attack this bastered. i hit him once for 60 and he only hit me once but for 95 and he had a scyle so that ticked me off alot! so after that i used yualp and proceded to my normal soloing style which is; yualp, flash of light, stun, and root if need be. NOTHING TOOK NO HIM! now he starts casting and nukes me for 200! ouch that hurts my 1256hp alot. and he didn't stop ther he keep nukeing me. well theres 1 bubl of hp left LOH time and i ran my holy pally @ss to the closest zone, which was kithicor forest and being night time i felt safe for some reason.
ummmm don't touch this guy unless you really really high in level or you have a group WITH a CLERIC!

I concur. This NPC was a black con to my 29th level enchanter.
I engaged him with a full mana charge, me fully buffed, my pet fully buffed and dual-wielded. I debuffed him with everything I could then set to work on nuking him.
Then he proceeded to terminate my pet (sniff) and kick my teeth in. I got him down to half health before he buried me.
Serious mis con on this guy. Those Dirty Dogs at Verant.

On a GM Event for Halloween Greater werewolves came and terrorized WC, they were lvl 45. Somebody charmed the werewolf chief and had him attack this guy. The chief lost and then this guy started attacking the person who charmed the chief, so somebody else charmed a greater werewolf and stuck it on him, he killed that too. Don't Fu** with this guy.

He is obviously KoS to Wood elves because I had formed a wood elf guild we were going to Befallen for a raid, crossed his path and he totally wiped us out. We never went to Befallen again :)

Not true, I am a Lvl 40 Druid Wood Elf, and he doesnt do anything to me besides say, Greetings, Kolianu. Someone said this guy is part of a quest anyone know which one and what does he do?

While running through WCs with a 51 druid friend of mine, we ran across this guy. Me being level 28 at the time, he conned yellow to me. After gaining a level, I returned to WCs and conned him again. This time he conned even, which leads me to believe he's level 29. Being the opportunists we are, the druid and I went to kill him to see what he dropped. That was a big mistake. He punches well into the 80s-90s range and has an earth pet which will root you to boot. The druid ran outta mana so we both zoned. When we came back the druid just nuked him to death. Only thing he dropped was a newbie robe.

Just being a low level doesn't mean he can't do some damage, especially being a quest NPC. Example: Yesterday in Lake Rathe some green NPC to 22 warrior was hitting around 90.

First get a coin from Rykas in Lake Rathe and give it to Jahsohn. Tell Jahsohn it is from Rykas so he may respond. Then find the pages for the quest.
