Same thing.
I was traveling and hit Rath Mountains and decided to take out a few Hill Giants seeing that I was low on plat from making SOW potions for friends.
At 43rd level Shaman with a pet I usually have no problem with a single Hill Giants.
Pulled a pet, medded up and debated on taking Gate down and putting another spell up. Real glad I didn't do this.
As I am heading across the hill giant area I run by a green drake, and think nothing of it until half my hit points are gone. Mind you, as a Shaman I keep AC and HP buffs on all the time. Needless to say this got my full attention.
I stop and since I ran behind a tree I couldn't see it. But F1'nd to my pet who was attacking and noticed old Wolf friend going down for the count. Didn't even think about running. ALT+5'd my Gate spell and said far well to my pet.
If you see this Rharzar, run, gate or evac. And I feel sorry for any 30 and below that run into him.

I was wandering arround Rathe mts one day (I got a little lost) and I saw 'Rharzar begins to cast a spell'. I thought he was a player so I paid it no notace... then I notaced that I was judged by the gods or something..... and wondered for a min where 1/2 of my HP went.. what's when I ran like a little girl and found a zone. Oh and by the way i had 2200 max hp at the time (gotta love being a warrior with clericy buffs) so that was about a 1100-1300 hp spell.

I was fully buffed lvl20 cleric, and for me it was far less lucky - i have about 1000 hp, and
first i saw my corpse, and only then - read Rharzar begins ti cast a spell... One spell and more then 1000 hp gone...

I was a 50th necromancer at the time and killing
Hill Giants for Loot and anything else for
pleasure. After a time I see this named drake
and I think to myself, cool a freebie! I hit
'c' to consider it before I engage it and it was
blood red. It sensed my presense and agro'ed me
and pumped me with a 450pt direct damage spell.
My pet engaged it, I saw my health cut in half and turned around, hit the jboots, and HAULED *** TO THE ZONE screaming for everyone to get the
hell out of my way! Even ran through a group of
Hill Giants and Cyclops not caring about their
little damage compared to this other monster.
If you see this thing, don't think but zone.
Now I know how monsters feel when I fear them!

I an a level 40 wizard currently and was medding up aftr fighting an HG. A clops jumped me and having no mana, i clicked my jbootts heels and started runing like any normal wizzie will do when manaless. I was check distace using F9 and i hit something had no idea what. next thing I know I am dead. Saln by the wrath of the gods or something. I have spent a lot of time in the Rathe Mtns and never seen this thing before. I hope I never do again. Now i have to go find my body.

Me an friend gonuts was killin HG's. We sit down thinkin we all gud but NO him come an splat Gonuts, I get up an him come smoosh me. :( him hurts me eet him later for dat.

Oh my God, not since I accidentally attacked Rodcet Nife himself have I been hit so hard! Quad hits for at least 268 each.
You can outrun him with SOW (unlike Zazamouhk) but just make sure to stay out of melee range.
Also has a large aggro radius and will wander to the edge of the HG area every 20 minutes or so (I'm guessing -- never actually timed it).

we were fighting hg and looken to kill the corupt one but ran oom . so we started to med and I had a HG agro on me.....I ran tryin to get to a zone it got roorted and killed by my group.....all is well.....we are all oom now. then he came in and killed the 49th lvl cleric and myself 44th lvl druid and the other 47th lvl druid noticed the cleric get attacke and stood and ran but not before losing half haealth. I guess there are no safe zones to med in anymore. LVL 55 in an area for lvl 20's Make sense to me....don't want 20th lvls fighting there anymore.

I PLAY A LEVEL 34 NECRO AND HE MANGLED MY PET IN 10 SECONDS, FRIGHTNINGLY QUICK ATTACKS. HE LOOKS LIKE THE OTHER DRAKES IN RATHE MNTS BUT HE IS GREEN INSTEAD OF BLACK. DON'T KNOW IF HE SPAWNS THERE BUT I ENCOUNTERED HIM BY THE SPHINX Zazamoukh. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF USING THAT AREA AS A SAFE SPOT TO PULL HILL GIANTS TO BETTER CHECK THAT THIS MONSTER ISN'T AROUND.

this thing killed me in Rathe Mnts today, double hit me for 600pts, and me have only 1200hps and no SoW I was toast. Watch Out! This one is NASTY!

While hunting drakes, i happen to see Rharzar in the distance, and decided to put as much distance between myself and him.
Unfortunately he saw me and began casting nulify magic on me, removing my sow. I ran to a safe distance,and recasted sow, then Rharzar catches up to me takes two swipes at me, and missed both times. My pet then engaged him while i made my escape.

This Drake spawned last night while we were camping Zehpyl and raped us due to us being spread out and not ready,After much rezing and such we took him out, this guy hits for 398, heals itself,smites, wrathes etc - awesome fight

I dont know if it's me or just because my armor is ragged, but as a 49 Mage, this was my 2nd time seeing this big fella, since he has nothing that I want.
Anyway he tagged me for 700+points. I was at full health,953, and he hit me full on, knocked me to 245 in one blow. they must have buffed him up. Geeze :(
All I wanted was hasten, now i gotta make plans for a little payback on him as well :)

My first visit to Rathe...I walk in with 2 friends and move to a 'safe' spot to pull to. Im now getting spells ready when in one blow our 30th Necro friend is killed. I stand am am hit for 298damage.
Luckily, with SoW, I run a distance, am smitten.
Escape with 1/2 a bub to Gate out.
