A warning to you clerics out there thinking of soloing him, he has very high MR. At 55 2 Reckonings resulted in a partial and a complete resist. Nevertheless, if you are 54+ he can be taken easily using The Unswerving Hammer of Faith cleric pet hammer spell. Just make sure you get him on you instead of the hammer and Remedy yourself (if necessary) while the hammer beats him down.

Lord Grimrot is a pain in the **** to camp! He can spawn once every 3 RL hours. Depends on if his PH pops or not. He does in fact summon a pet if you let him stand there long enough. The Undead Grimrot is a SK bout level 30 who packs a nasty HarmTouch. Although the live Grimrot is just a necro, but hits for around 60 dmg.

The live Grimrot is a SK. He is around level 35. Make sure you have your resistances (MR, DR, etc) up before taking on either one.

BAH....FOR A SK YOU SAY IS 35-36 ISH HE HAD LOW SVM I KILLED HIM WITH A 32 RANGER HE NEVER RESITED ROOT OR SNARE... MY ONLY PROBLEM WAS WITH THE VERY HIGH AC SK'S GET I HAD A BIT OF TROUBLE HITTING HIM. ) BUT STILL VERY TOUGH!!!!!
This is the living version of Lord Grimrot, level 35-36 shadow knight, petless for as far as I've seen. Killing him gives huge faction hits: -Bloodsabres, -Opal Darkbriar, +Priests of Life, +Knights of Thunder, and +Guards of Qeynos

ok im not sure what it takes for this guy to spawn. ive tried killing him at 7am, 5pm noon and some random time in the evening. so far i just have wasted round 15hours of my life just waiting and waiting for this damn guy to spawn...and its always the PH. if anyone can tell me a different time to kill him or that he is infact a random spawn that would be of help
