I'd seen Ella many times in my EQ career.Whether slipping through zone invisable or coming to kill the Hobbit Barney Fifes.And of course many more while as a friendly coming to Misty to level in said character's youth.Last eve I was here with my 52 necro killing the fore mentioned deputy's.I was just after recreation really but the spears and shields were collected to sell.Soon I was somewhat encumbered and after clearing the arch waddled through,pet in tow to get a better look at the elusive female hobbit.
I positioned myself to the side of the road just as she zipped past.I couldn't target her in time but she scowled back at me and was blue.All I knew was that she was red to 41 thus 44 or higher.I'd never seen her cast a spell but that sure seemed like sow speed to me.Well I says to myself "self we may regret this but what the hey".And so moved into position near the road split which I'd seen her pass through.Trying to stay on my toes I continually tapped the key with dooming darkness till it fired up and I knew the game was afoot.She resisted that and coming from behind me punched me once vs my manaskin.The pet was on her then as I stumbled back a few steps.She then unloaded an ice spell on me that took out the remaining points of manaskin and spilled 125 damage over to me.I Invoked fear and it took she moved off a few feet then started moving to and fro in a small space.My pet was doing his part and and I threw 2 poison blasts of 400 and 339 respectively on her.Eyeing her hps in the target window I was shocked to see her about 85% health still.I re-applied fear then envenomed bolt.I watched the fight progress adding in another fear.Bolt did its thing and she was still fairly healthy.I let her have a splurt to play with went to refear but she resisted and hit me with engulfing roots which I in turn resisted.I got another fear on which got her to the point of not wanting to play with us anymore and soon after she was dead.There where no factions hits at all though mine couldnt have been any worse as it was.My %style exp bar showed I'd gotten a 1% kill(whee).After I logged and looked up the spells was aghast to find them 49 spells.I had just soloed a 50 which wasnt my intention at all lol.Btw she drops nothing and is hardly worth the effort to attempt.I'm roughly estimating 5k hps.I think that should give everyone the lowdown on Ms.Ella :)

From what I can tell, Ella Foodcrafter is on Stormreapers faction. I brought her up from Scowls at ready to attack to dubious by killing goblins in Misty Thicket & Runny Eye.

Killed Ella Foodcrafter 12 times today, no faction hits for killing her. Also she has low resists, Invoke Fear got resisted twice in 12 fights, nothing else got resisted even once. A pretty easy kill for a 59 Necro ;)

I am a level 58 shaman. With my pet fully buffed and myself I cannot kill her. She has a DD that hits for 650hp. She also roots and heals herself. If for any reason you are KoS and alone......plain simple....RUN.

What does she drop when/if she is killed?

i turned in bandages to get the cheap dubious faction with rivervale so i could use the bank. this lovely lady rooted, nuked and stomped me a few times and i knew i had to do something. her casting is too fast to sneak in FD so ... off to killing goblins. and i mean alot of googlies. if anyone out there is interested in moving thru scowl and glare faction to dubious i just want to let you know it is a long road, be prepared to get sick of "Ugly creature at my feet. Me thinks that you'll be good to eat."

Ella Foodcrafter glowers at you doubiously--looks like she is sick of killing you.

ok, what do i get for her for epic?

Definitely on Stormreapers. I was amiable to all my guild members (wood elf) but got hurt real bad after killin a ton of halflings or the such ... I was dubious to her, Xanuusuus, and the withered treant but no other druids at all. I was still able to do the softly glowing stone part when I was dubious, but I killed a few orcs in CB before that. Only dubious NPC that wouldn't let me continue quest was withered treant. Killed about 200 gobbos in Butcherblock and VIOLA! Amiable.

When I was lvl 16 I killed him, Yes him he was green with a 1 min spawn time and about 20 hps yes the does sound odd but it is true that was the first i heard of him there was no fraction hits and later that week he had a complete Race/Sex change and someone PLed her major.

If you follow her she will eventually stop and say something like "These roots will do good"

If you forage on that spot you will get a sweetened mudroot...for the epic druid quest

Make sure if you are evil or think you MIGHT be KOS to her to be invis when going thru misty or you are in big trouble...I ran through here once with my shaman (never had saw her before, I was 51 so I didnt think anything in the zone could kill me with sow on) but out of no where I was rooted and I saw her behind me. She started blasting me with ice spells..she punched me a couple times for 100s then I rooted her ran and she blasted me one more time and I was dead...

She was blue to me, i was guesing she was close to 50 or lvl 50 to hit so hard.

As an Iksar bound in Rivervale, this Druid is especially troublesome as she wanders both by the front gate of Rivervale as well as the gate of the wall accross Misty Thicket. Honey Bugger's bandage quest does not raise faction with her and she really enjoys killing Iksar. What faction is she and what can be done to improve this faction?
